    16. Oh MAN! I hadn't looked at Zombie Dood in awhile. Out-freaking-standing. I absolutely adore the Timmian head -- he's gorgeous enough to pull off any sort of character you might have in mind. Course, I loved the Big Head too :)

      I'm with AnnTagonist - very cool to see a picture of you, as well! Now, see... you have to sell her one of these big boys. Since she is owner/creator of the World's Coolest Snakeboy I would kill to see what she would do with such an amazing sculpt!

      Oh for a particle of your talent. Man. :)

    18. Hey guys! Sorry I didn't answer back like i usually do, I have been deeply embroiled in the FINAL CASTS. dun dun dahhhhhh~

      Thank you so very very much for following this and for your interest in my doll. Thanks especially to those who have been rooting for me and encouraging me all along! :D I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate it and it's because of you folks that I had the courage to finish this at all.

      Last night at about 9pm the last part was set up from casting and Timmian was officially born.

      Here's the skinny in advance. When I get the second one done I will make an official announcement on the DOA news section.

      The finished timmian stands roughly 65 cms tall and fits best in DOT pants(He may fit SD13 long leg pants, but I don't own an SD13 long leg doll so I don't know). He fits in regular shirts, although long sleeves maybe a little too short.

      He wears an 8-9 wig and 14-16mm eyes.


      At this time I only have enough resin to cast two dolls, so both of the dolls that I will be casting will be OOAKs. The first is pure white and is the doll seen above. The second will be a dark grey(or dark blue, we'll see what color the resin turns!). Both of these skin tones will most likely be the only ones of that color made, it depends on how the casting of the other goes. I may have to leave them all white if things go wrong! XD;;

      Since I'm only making these two OOAKs for the rest of the month I will be putting them on ebay. Depending on how many dolls I am comfortably able to release each month depends on how the subsequent dolls will be sold. If I am able to only get 1-3 done a month then I will probably put them on ebay. If I can get MORE than that done a month then I may start a waiting list. I will try to debut a new head every month and have at least one month where I release only bodies so that people who just want the bodies can have them. But that's just speculation at the moment.

      The dolls will start out at $650 for the basic set which will include:
      1 strung doll
      1 fur wig(brown, blonde, black, or white)
      1 pair of white or black marble eyes
      1 pair of normal eyes acrylic eyes
      hot glue sueding is optional and free!

      These first two sets will have:
      1 strung doll
      1 fur wig(limited fur)
      1 pair of white or marble eyes(I don't think the glass eyes I'm ordering will get here in time for the release)
      1 pair of glass eyes(if they get here in time)
      hot glue sueded


      feel free to ask me any questions you might have. :3 I will probably have an elf head debuting next month if I can figure out where I sat him down at... O_o;;

      I also want to make a disclaimer that these items are HAND CAST without the aide of a pressure pot or a vacuum chamber. I am NOT a professional sculptor or casting company. There will be minor imperfections in most casts, bubbles and shim/parting lines, however I DO guarantee that there will not be any bubbles on the face and only very minor ones on the body. Also, some parts may have resin "birth marks", places were the resin has changed color. The white one has a blue one one his chin! Personally I think the birth marks add to their personality, I always liked my own birthmark... but if this bothers you then I don't think you'll be happy with the little monster.

      Also, I string my dolls fairly tightly...

Finally! : D It's a shame I'm too hard up for cashmonies this month to even TRY and compete in an auction for him, but I really look forward to seeing your other heads, and I hope the lucky two who get the OOAKs spam the board with pictures. (Though I must confess, when I first saw his arms--especially his elbows--I was like "WTF!" but I like them more and more the more I look at them. XD;;)

      I really love the blue-grey skintone the best.

      This is zero the zombie. I may be doing a decrepid zombie head later, but I'm not sure yet. At this point I feel like Zero being the way he is fits better with what I had in mind. Like I said in the first post i'm more the freshly dead zombie sort of person rather than the big gaping holes and gore type. XD

      This is the Vampire head. He's large. He needs to be taken down a bit, so he needs more work. Also, he has no ears. XD


      So yeah, in closing, um, they're both a bit big for the body right now. I've done some work to the chest of the body and that should help balance it out, I've shortened his neck and broadened his chest a little... the cast shrank a full centimeter from the original sculpt, and I wasn't expecting that much shrinkage, so that's a big reason things seemed a bit out of proportion. I also finished the new knees and will hopefully have those out in time for the next batch of dolls. I'll keep updating here and on the news forum, but I probably won't be putting the new head sculpts on the news forum until their finished because I expect them to mutate quite a bit. :3

    43. that's the paper clay. :3 Remember how I said I took the head mold and put paperclay into it? That's what they heads look like after I pop them out and resculpt them. That way they're pre-hollow. If you can find something egg-shaped(which this time of year you should be able to!) you can coat the inside with paperclay(provided the egg is plastic or something) and let it dry to make a head-shaped paperclay original to mold your doll's head from. :3 If it's NOT a plastic egg and it's paper mache or something, you can still do it but you need to coat it with like saran wrap or something.

      These are not my type of sculpts really. But I truly admire this work. They are fantastic as objects of art. The Head of Timmian (sounds like a book title!!) is really amazing and really lifelike and made my spine tingle. :o

      You are very gifted.

      Please post more pics as I love looking at them - something about being scared I think!!!

      I would be too frightened in having one myself - I can see now why some people are freaked out by dolls - these are truly frightening - well to me anyway!!!

      But keep on, as I say they are true works of art. And I love them in that way.

      Hope your hands are not suffering too much.

      Hey guys! I am now taking orders for just bodies and just heads. I'm willing to take layaway within reason, but the deposit is non-refundable.

      Prices:
      $120 for head
      $470 for body

      Shipping:
      $7 for heads
      $20 US or $50 international on bodies

      This is the natural skin, it's very close to luts natural skin and the body does fit luts heads(I'll get a picture tomorrow!). I hope to BW body photos up by this weekend! I will hopefully have the next two heads done soon too! thanks again for following this, I appreciate it! this is the NEW torso, the older longer necked thinner torso is still available if you ask.

      Only about 10-20 of these bodies will end up being sold. After that I think the molds will probably fall apart.

      his mold ripped and he had a dent in his head so I had to remold him. e_e So this is just a quick cast to clean the mold. :3 There will be a limited one in pure white, but the others will be normal, pale, and blue. :3 er, when I get the jug in for blue. e_e;
