I have a BB Nia on the way and looks like I need to get her a baby sister Im loving the tan girls so Im holding off until I can get a tan MAE or AMY - May also get a Fairy in time if they release something like Mint Vin again

Hey guys... I can't help but notice there's no Bambicrony waiting room here on DoA... that may mean that there's no need for one because they handle their orders lightning fast, or there has been no activity for too long because they're so slow... Can anyone shed some light on their waiting times? I'd rather order new because most second hand Ciao Bellas have the old body.

My close friend Liff has a Roko named Molly and when they met at our latest meet, Sookie and Molly became the best of friends . Molly even let Sookie borrow her clothes because her new owner hadn't made her any yet

I need help with the Bambicrony body types before I order. 4 types are available and I know some have issues. Which is best?????
Ver 1-1, Baby body, ver 2 baby body or ver 2 split baby body.
I don't want anything so complicated that I'd run into stringing problems. I've never restrung a BJD and it's making me nervous as my collection grows. Thanks for all your pros and cons. Cathie

Hi, I recently got myself a Roko, but she feels kind of loose, and I have no idea how to restring her, so I'd like some advice please thanks

 

I've never restrung a doll, but I've seen some good videos on YouTube.

Thanks! Yah, I wasn't sure about her at first. I usually like more mature dolls. I decided to go for it, because of the eyes and face-up. I absolutely love the color as well.

 

I just left my own Mae from the same LE set with my friend who's in town for winter break for her faceup. So far it's really cute and I'm really happy with it.

Although one problem Ive been encountering is that the hip joints turn around in the sockets really easily. She's a pretty steady stander nonetheless but if i find myself wanting to sit her down or bend her leg for whatever reason i often find that the joint has slipped around. Anyone else experiencing this with their ciao bellas? is it simply too loosely/tightly strung, or is it a completely different issue?

 

Ooooo please post pics of her when she's done! Her hip joints do seem a little loose, but she's my first yosd, so I just figured most of them were like that? At least she stands well I don't know if tightening the elastic would help or if it's just the design of the socket itself. Congrats on your new addition!

 

If the doll is loosely strung, tightening the elastic could help a bit, but I think it's partially due to the way the sockets were designed. I've had that issue with my Ciao Bellas as well as my Brava Bambi.

Thanks Leafylew! She was originally supposed to be very quiet and reserved but she's turned out to be quite sassy. I kinda like it tbh xD Granted, I may have to change some things but for now she's good.

 

I would like to know if someone could teach me how to recognize a copy of a BJD doll. I have a friend who wants to buy a Bambicroni Ciao Bella doll and the doll does not have the certificate.
The seller says this is a original Bambicroni doll. How can one make sure if she is original, without the certificate?


i know that latidolls have a metalic emblema on the back of head. Do Bambicrony dolls have something on the head or body, a signature or something else that we can see they are original?

Hello everyone! This is such a cute discussion thread, all of your dolls are really cute, please show more pictures of them cuties!!
I love Bambi Crony Ciao Bellas, they are one of the cutest 1/6 bjd's to me, so I also got one recently from the marketplace right here on DoA.
This is my Chaturi, he's an older Elf Pepe, and forest elf, he's a little bit moody at times, but overall I adore him! I have yet to make him some proper clothes, since it took me a bit of time painting my first face-up for the little guy like this, and making this wig smaller -_- Also waiting for eyelashes....

I bought her secondhand off the marketplace here years ago. I'm hoping to get back into the scene and make my girl cute clothes does anyone have any tried & true patterns for the Ciao Bellas?

I might get a Bambicrony ToTo (not sure about the mold as the current owner does not have a CoA) in a trade during the beginning of the new year. I did not know a lot about BC when the trade offer was made, but I instantly felt in love when I looked at the company pics. I especially love the slender bodies. They fit great together with my Soom TG.

But when I found this thread, I was a bit disappointed first. Not a lot of posts here. Please share BC love with me!!!

My doll came home yesterday, but now I need your help:

Does the Bambicrony Toto doll has to have a metal plate inside the head? There is none, only a resin loop on the headback. I did not get the CoA as the doll seems to be pretty old and it was lost during the previous owners. But the doll came in a box stating "BambiCrony".

What do you think?

Hi Guys, I have a question maybe you can answer. I have a Bambi on order and am wondering what their shipping time seems to be. In their general feedback thread, the last post was in 2013.

 

Did a little flea market shopping and my Judy got some "new" old clothes...she seems to like them. She is 2010 doll and she is hard to pose...so she is sitting for now. (excuse the quick camera phone shot...I got excited)

i ordered a cherrytea girl, and i'm excited for her to ship but i haven't gotten a shipping notice yet.

 

Cherrytea is so cute! I can't wait to see your girl. I ordered a tan Vanilla at the end of July. I haven't received a shipping notice either but I also bought a pair of the ribbon maryjane shoes and some makoeyes. I don't know if that will affect the shipping time. I figure mine might show up in late September or early October.

I also ordered a tan on a 3 month layaway figuring that's probably how long she'll take. They invoiced my second payment on 7-30 so I should have got the final invoice about 8-30 which they've yet to send. I'm assuming the reason they haven't asked for final payment is because they still have my doll in production so my guess is they're running a bit behind....

 

she is!! i fell in love with the happy winter version of her, but that sold out a long time ago, haha.
i asked if they could try and recreate the happy winter faceup since they didn't have any tan cherryteas in the display picture, and they said their artist would try their best, so i'm super duper grateful and delighted!! (and excited!!!)
i did a one month layaway one mine, but i didn't order makoeyes or shoes with her (although i was thinking about it! those shoes are so cute...). but i did order a larger order of makoeyes from their main site at the same time and they're already here, so i doubt the eyes would be the holdup? i did order one of those swimsuits tho, so she wouldn't arrive naked! x3

with tan dolls though i'd expect a delay, so it's fine. it also give more time for the leekeworld order i put in to ship. i got her one of the limited wigs... i'm praying it fits x__x

do any of you guys know if leeke wigs fit bambicrony ok? it's a 6-6.5in one

 

I got Toto. You should be just fine with that wig! I love their wigs! If it SHOULD have a tendency to 'pop' off, just use a silicone cap with it! Hopefully we'll be showing pictures of our newbies soon?......

 

That's so awesome that they are giving you the faceup you wanted! I'm planning on doing my own faceup for my Vanilla. I really like the promo faceup though, so I might try and do something similar. I bought one of the swimsuits as well for the same reason. XD

Vanilla has been on my wishlist for so long I'm glad I'm finally getting her. I don't have a name picked out yet. I usually like to wait until the doll gets here before I name it. Do you have a name picked out for your Cherrytea?
