Is anyone else out there screaming over this one? It's like the perfect doll release, great name (Ozzy's children, killing me) with the perfect doll. YO sized tan devil elf vampires. Shoot me and kill me this is a must have. OK, anybody else?

Now I have to pick which one!

Oh, and how could I forget blue eyes and red lips. This reminds me why I love Bambicrony.

 

Are the fangs molded on or painted on? I can't tell...

Also, Sisely reminds me of Interview with the Vampire's Claudia.

 

Are the teeth molded or are they stickers like on the lati vampires? I can't seem to get access to the Q&Q board - it doesn't seem to like my password even though it lets me sign in.

 

I think they are molded. They already answered an email I sent this morning, that is strange. Try just emailing them smudge.
Well, I went and ordered Toto, she was the one that really tugged at my heart. Wallet. Whatever.

 

i'm wondering too. they look molded...but then Kumi's teeth look a little odd, like maybe not. *but, Lati vampires have molded teeth, not stickers

 

I love BC tan as it's a lovely shade, but the teeth are throwing me off. If they are molded, then that's cool... I was hoping to sand them off just so I could have a tan Kumi.

 

Oh frick... starting the 11th we can choose to have them with or without fangs...>.< (might now be tempted hardcore) I wonder if that means they'll sand them off or they'll change the molds?

I'm with you, Stella. I'm happy people can get them without fangs, but then it kind of defeats the purpose of a limited edition Ozzy's Children thing.

 

Oh, but they still have wings and tails and horns! Actually, that may have finally sold me on getting Sisley. (Like I needed much more selling - well, except to sell a couple more neglected dolls to pay for her!) She can look so innocent (well, no, not really - Sisley has a sly look about her no matter what) but if she goes around without the horns and all, no one will know what a little menace she actually is!

 

They have a new type of ear as well, so the head sculpt is still distinct from the elf and human versions even without the fangs!

 

I received my Gun today ! She's wonderfull, Bambicrony are really great ... But I wanted to try her optional hands, so I puted the S-hooks on her hands. And they are too big ... I think that is the same for all the Bambicronies ? So, what can I do ?

You need to make your own s hooks to fit into bambicrony wrists. I'd suggest getting some "piano wire" from Dollmore:

It's really strong and thin and I've made a few s hooks for SDs out of it, planning on making some small ones for my bambicronies to replace the string in their hands and feet.

 

Hmm... S-Hooks came with my doll, but I suppose they're the ones Patchy was talking about? I haven't used them yet.

And my Sisley still has no face-up.. silly sickness getting me on a weekend.

 

BC always includes extra hooks for the heads, but none for the hands. That's why they won't fit in their wrists.

 

Hmm Mine are much to small for the head...

 

The head s hook is quite small, have you checked the head to make sure it's the same size?

 

Yes, the head S hook is about 2 cm and the two extras are 1cm

Congrats on Thread #3 to all the Ciao Bella owners.

One of the first BJDs that ever caught my eye was BC Cookie, but she was discontinued before I had the chance to snag her. Recently I visited BC to see the basic Ciao Bella re-releases and fell head over heels for Shy. I had no idea she was available with human ears!

I guess what I'm asking is... does anyone here have a Shy? I searched but can't find many pictures of her, human or elf version. I'd love to see owner photos of this little one. I'd love her to be my first Yo-sized doll.

To anyone willing to spam Shy pics or lead me in the right direction... thanks!!!

I really do love her sculpt. I think it is her huge eyes that draw me in. Of course, I think all the Ciao Bellas are adorable. I knew I'd eventually find myself back there. I can't escape their cuteness.

Argh! They tried to deliver my Sisley yesterday but i was at work!!!! Thankfully I have today off so I can walk over to the post office and pick her up. I'm so happy the wait is finally near an end!!!

Lucy has such a sweet expression! Gun usually looks mischievous to me, so it's unusual to see such a gentle-looking one.

Clochette, it's nice to have some Elf Spam in the thread again! I'm awaiting some stockings to complete new outfits for my two elves, so hopefully I'll be able to add some spam of my own very soon!

I have a question that hopefully someone can answer for me. I am interested in the little angel wings (these), but on the website it says that they are sold out. So were they limited edition and are now gone forever, or is their "sold out" the same as being "out of stock" and they'll eventually have more to sell?

 

PrincessEv - they only ever seem to sell the angel wings when they sell elf versions of dolls. They've also changed the design of them a few times too, so I'm not sure if they do sell them that they'll be the same. I'd have a look on the marketplace, I'm sure there's a few people around who have the wings but don't actually want them.

I don't post regularly but thought you would all like to see Toto in Floral White. Her eyes are so big, she reminds me of a deer, so I have named her Bambi! Easy to remember too. I really like her.

 

OH my gosh! To be totally honest I saw Toto when she was released and was like o.O; but... she's precious! I mean I trust Bambicrony pictures but owner pics are always so much better. I want to kiss her cheek, she's so cute. I love her name it suits her just perfect. Thank you for posting, I love her in WS and especially with the brown eyes..

Thank you twylight and PeppermintPocky! I am very happy with her. Yes, she is definitely a brown eyed girl. Yoon has been wonderfully patient as I changed my order a few times.

I have to agree. Toto looks much better in Oliveoil's pictures. When I first saw her, I thought she was kind of cute, but she's super adorable! That must mean Pepe will be here soon, too!

 

Wow! I love Bambicrony's photographs, but this is definitely a case where Owner pictures exceed theirs. I think it's the eyes. I didn't think much of Toto, but I just adore her now! She truly does look like a little deer. She makes your heart melt

Thank you all for the nice compliments on Toto (Bambi). She has a look of wonder in her eyes. I just love her.
BC site she has 16mm eyes. I requested 14mm and glad I did. Although I am not using the ED eyes. Brown suits her best.

Well, i FINALLY have pictures of my new Sisley! I named her Cadence because that name is both a musical term, and an Irish name. Cadence will eventually have red hair and green eyes, but for now she is perfectly satisfied with the brown curls i gave her as well as the blue glass eyes she came with.

She is so sweet, friendly, and easygoing. I was expecting her to be a little more mischievous, saucy, and full of attitude than she is. I do think she has some mischief up her sleeves, but she is a very sweet natured girl and not nearly as foofy and demanding as my little Pukifee Ante, Bijoux. She loves to sing and is playful and patient with the younger girls.

I haven't had time to take her out for a real photoshoot, but here are a couple of pictures.

Excuse me ^^ please someone could help me? I can't remember where, but I read somewhere that all bambicrony dolls are french resin. Is that correct or I'm wrong? I really need to know, thanks..
By the way, I really fell in love with those little ones.. *-*

 

This is not correct: The only Bambicrony dolls made from French Resin are the special rainbow-colored elves, and the very limited Indigo White color. All other Bambicrony dolls are made from regular Urethane Resin.

I didn't realize Indigo White was french resin! : o Did they ever do an actual release in that skin tone, or was it only sold by request?

 

They did a few limited releases in Indigo White: I think a fullset Elf Shy, and maybe an Elf Shlphia? And I think another one, too.

 

Can somebody help me with this question, please?
Are the newly release Ciao Bellas on the type 2 body? The sales pages of the individual dolls say it's the 1.1 version.
When I go to "Ciao Bella parts", I can only find the type 2 and type 1 body (type 1 is sold out). Does it mean that there are 3 types of bodies for CB?

 

I think I remember reading in the old discussion thread that the 1.1 body is a new version, and is a combination of Type 1 and Type 2.

 

As far as I know, 1.1 is the torso of the Ver 1 body, with redesigned arms and legs (at the very least remade legs so you dont' have the "one leg longer than the other" issue of the original body), but I'm not 100% on all the differences between ver 1 and 1.1

 

Yes, there is. I have all three types. 1.1 has the same torso and (in my opinion) the same legs as 1.0, but different arms. My Judy still has the kicky left knee that plagued my V1's, so I'm not sure they fixed that issue all that well, if at all.
