I ordered a Marion last month, so I'm waiting on her. I cannot wait, Bambicrony has such cute little ones!

I'm sure you've all seen this, the limited pink judy? She is absolutely gorgeous! I wish I could get her, but I've gone too crazy on my first dolls :C Maybe someone will resell her later.
Is anyone getting her? Or knows someone who is? I can't wait to see owner photos of the fullset.. or even just her basic. So pretty @_@

 

I think the Limited Judy elf is amazingly cute, but I wish BC would release her in white resin. I just love BC's snow white skin, but it has only been used for one MSD release so far.

 

Bambicrony was one of my first loves in the early days of BJDs but I couldn't afford to purchase one. But recently I managed to get a lovely tan Mae from the market place. Today I realized I had yet to show her off. I think it's because she still doesn't have right eyes. Anyway, here is my Malie to say hi.

Super cute. I adore Bambicrony's eyes and cheeks.. makes the whole face so much sweeter. ( I can't wait til I have marketplace access ;o; ).
They don't have a tan option now.. does bambicrony usually do it this way? Where they only sell one skin type at a time?

I'm still rather new to posting within these threads, so please bare with me, thank you. I dont yet currently own a BJD. But recently i've found and been really interested in the Ciao Bella collection [CB] Basic Roko (27cm). But I've been searching reviews and although their dolls look really gorgeous, the results of various people have been highly disappointed. Though in saying that, a lot of their flaws were to do with the tanned selection of their dolls.

So although I am very interested in purchasing this doll, I'm not sure whether it's a good idea with all the complaints and such it has received. So I think in all, a bit of opinion maybe? Or potentially some feedback?

I had a Ciao Bella Pepe and I sold her because I did not find the sculpt aesthetically pleasing. However, I have several dolls of other brands now to compare and I think the Pepe I had was wonderful quality. She was the peach puff resin and the resin was beautiful. It is sort of a matte finish and just looks expensive. She also posed very well. If you like the look of the sculpt, I would say go for it.

 

Hi guys, would someone be able to tell me if Ciao Bella Charity is the same mold as Cherrytea?
I'm a bit confused about them...

 

I've waited ages for tan Mae to be available again but I can't decide if I want the full-set or the basic. The outfit on Amy is so much prettier than Mae's. It says that the full-set includes face-up but there is still a face-up option, anyone know if this is just a mistake?

I think someone just thought it would be cute to change the spelling of Charity to Cherrytea. As far as I can see, they appear to be the same.

 

Must have been a mistake, the option has been taken down now

I now have 14 Bambis. and i love them all. they make up the bulk of my collection now. i have had to split my collection to give my ex husband half my dolls in settlement. grr. will be getting back on here to fill in the gaps of the moulds i couldnt afford at the time. eg. charity/cherrytea, gun, sisley, etc etc. also can anyone tell me the mould name of the brava bambi boy. bought approx 2 yrs ago. got sunday and tan emily but have forgotten his name!!!! thanks

Hello all! I have been a DoA member for a couple of years, but haven't spent much time here until now. I love seeing everyone's Bambi's! I have four 27cm Bambi's (and one of the older style that is a bit larger) and they are so sweet, I love them! I have a feeling that looking through this thread will cause me to want more!

 

Bambircrony dolls are so precious

 

I love Cherrytea in tan and hope to order her soon! However while I was reading this thread I was hearing about all of the awful issues with the company in regards to customer service and their tan skin options. I haven't seen anything more recent than the start of 2012 and I was wondering if anyone had had a successful order since then? I'm now super hesitant to order but I love the sculpt and the tan looks so lovely.

 

I haven't played with my Sisley in ages. It's so hard for me to find clothe for her that aren't HUGE.

 

I ordered from them in late 2012 and my experience was pretty good with them... they had great communication although admittedly I had a hard time understanding their responses... the person I got had pretty poor English but it got sorted. I also got my doll within a month and she was absolutely lovely. However she wasn't in tan so I'm not sure about the issues with that, but their tan does look pretty nice. I was worried about ordering from them at first too with all their old feedback but they seemed to have turned that around, so maybe their tan resin issues are also better c:

 

I ordered a Basic Mae during the winter event and I got her a few weeks ago. I couldn't tell you about their customer service because I never had any contact with them. But I am very pleased with the tan skin, it is a beautiful shade and is even all over. There are no faults that I can see. She really is beautiful, no problems whatsoever.

 

I'm just so hesitant because there haven't been a lot of reviews stating that they've gone back to normal. I adore the sculpt so I'll probably take the plunge, but it makes me really nervous. Unfortunately I just haven't found a tiny sculpt that calls to me like she does. I'd like to think that they would have gotten those issues straightened out by now though.

 

I wouldn't worry too much.. most of the bad reviews I've seen are pretty old... have you seen many bad reviews that are new? You could always use their Q&A board before you make an order to feel them out, just ask questions about whatever and see how you feel with their customer service~

 

My Mathilda is back - again.

I first bought her in her original form (with the limited edition one-piece torso) in... 2006, I think? Maybe 2007, I'm not sure. Then in 2008, I sold her to a friend to finance a trip to see my then fiancé (now husband). Two years later, said friend sold her back to me. By then, she'd gotten pretty yellow and I just didn't like the one-piece torso so much anymore, so I sold her again.

And now she's back as a hybrid - a new Sisley head on an FDoll body.



I bothched her faceup, but I'm glad she's back, anyway! Faceups can be redone, thankfully.

Did you get a shipping email when your dolls were sent out? I've been waiting on my "shipping this week" but there haven't been any emails and my order status hasn't updated either. I'm probably just being really impatient but I'm wondering if I would have gotten notice if she had been mailed.

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if any one can help me, Im a huge fan of Bambicrony, my once massive collection of Bambi`s has recently been reduced to just two, which was quite sad at first but it gives me time to concentrate on the girls I have left and treat them to a few new outfits and wigs which is good! All my Bambicrony were bought kind of pre 2012 before the company changed hands, I do keep being drawn back to adding another Bambicrony to my collection but I wondered if anyone could help me in a comparison between "old" bambicrony and "new" so to speak? If any one out there does own both or have done Id be interested to hear how they compare, mainly the face up. or just to see some close up pics of Bambicrony faces from dolls from within the last year please

 

I'd gotten a CB Marion at the end of last year, her faceup is absolutely GORGEOUS. I gave her to a friend so I no longer have her, but she was really lovely, although strung really tight.

I've only seen pictures of the previous company's hands and honestly I would've liked if that didn't change. The hands my Marion had just seemed so.... I don't know, unnatural.. like no one's fingers just bend those ways. Because of that, they seemed like they'd be super easy to break. Other than the new hands though, I liked everything about her.

 

Cupkik - thank you for your reply you have helped a lot... Especially the picture. One of the things I love about my bambicrony dolls is their face ups your Marion (your old Marion) seems to be very very similar to my girls so I am glad to see they have still kept that style of make up. I hadn't noticed hand differences you know, I must look into those lol, i will study the photos on their site. Funny enough I always felt my earlier dolls were never strung tight enough so that might be better for me. Hmmm seeming really hard now not to give in to temptation and purchase!!!

Hello! I bought a Lotti sleeping elf head at a doll show a few weeks ago, and I am trying to find a good body for her. I read back through the thread about 10 pages to find hybrid info, and I really like the Hujoo hybrid. However, I am wondering whether any of you have tried putting one of these heads on a Luts Honey Delf body. If so, how is the fit?

So I gave in and ordered my first Ciao Bella in a long time. I went for a tan Judy I cant wait to see her. Im no stranger to Judy Ive had two already the ozzys judy sculpt and the Judy 2nd, I think shes absolutely beautiful but im hoping this one will be a keeper.
She will be coming home to these two who will be glad to have a Judy sister again...

I haven't stopped by in forever! I didn'teven know BC had changed hands. Whew! I am happy to see everyone's lovely bambis. The new face ups are really lovely. Has anyone seen the milktea skin tone that's currently available?

 

I have fallen in love with Sisley all over again, and hope to order her in the next month or so. Vanilla, Kumi and Roko are on my list too.

 

Vanilla is super cute. That face sculpt looks more realistic to me. I hope they offer her in tan in the future.
