Warning Bad eBayer -- shining_polaris

Hi Loki's Mum, well i did consider complaining to ebay, i think i didn't because i could understand how frustrating it must be to be blocked from bidding on an item when (she) doesn't think she has done anything wrong. Also i have worked in customer services and received a lot of abuse from members of the public so have learnt in most cases to block it out (totally off topic but i was a bit miffed the other day when a lady said straight to my face she had never asked me to book the 7 day vacation i booked for her and had actually asked for 14 days which was totally untrue, but generally someone has to be really abusive or threatening to bother me LOL)

Hey, guys, I'm going to move this thread to the Marketplace Feedback forum where it won't have a risk of being accidentally deleted during a purge of old threads like we do in the Dolls area.

The worrisome thing, ofc, is that even if eBay bans this ID there's no guarantee she won't be able to come up with another identity and be back selling.

 

I noticed that after she abused them, several of the "newbies" had become far less active on eBay. So this woman's nastiness and treachery actually COSTS eBay money.

The ebay feedback system is really a problem.

The two times I have left neg I got neg in return!! and I had done nothing for it simply left honest neg feedback. One item was not even the correct item I paid for.

If I did not always get a neg in return I would leave neg more often! this is why many times people leave neutral or positive and then comment in there.

Poor folks, new to Ebay, with just a few transactions under their belts, suddenly having abuse hurled at them for saying an item sold as new was damaged or filthy, a shirt was sent that was a small instead of an XL, or that they never received their item.

I know that a Power Seller is bound to have a few mistakes/bad experiences in their trading history, but reading through all her feedback this morning, & seeing the way she regularly treats CUSTOMERS with genuine problems... well, after years of running an online business myself & NEVER losing my temper, it really made my blood boil!

Yeh its really annoying! one woman was a crazy and wanted a refund after I took great care and time with her even phoning her and answering question on the phone about the doll!

She asked if I would do a refund when I talked to her on the phone before she purchased and wanted a 5 day return option. I told her no I don't do that.

She bought the doll and then after she got it returned it without asking saying she changed her mind and asked for a refund I told her I would not except that.

I then got a VERY long and detailed letter from her stating the various action she would take and how she would contact the police and do a paypal claim etc..... She also said you didn't put that you would not refund on the ebay auction and you have no evidence you said you wouldn't to me. Tons of other silly things that mad me

I was SO upset, this was a new in box doll. I did not leave her neg as she said she would do the same. And she said she would make sure everyone knew I was trying to steal her money LOL.

REAL drama. My husband was like "just give her a refund"
She got her refund.
AND I had to pay the paypal fees on this doll ! I could not do a none payment claim because I agreed to give her a refund.

 

you know, i saw the "WTFSD13??" boy doll just now, thought to myself "that looks kinda like ryung to me..." then made a B-line for the forum to see if anyone had posted anything about the auction. guess i was right. ops:

batchix, i'm so sorry about your poor body. it must be really upsetting for you to watch this happen. i just have to be careful that she doesn't ever bid on any of my stuff; i'd hate to see her rape someone else with her scams, not to mention the sort of blatant disrespect for my stuff!

What I honestly hope is that the major BJD companies do not see how inappropriately a few bad apples are handling their dolls. To me, that would be totally a heartbreak and I wouldn't sell overseas.

It's very immature how she handles her transactions.

 

What really killed me was when I browsed her feedback and saw her reply to a negative with:
Case #1:
Buyer~shoes where advertised as new, they had been worn, used
Polaris~just bad really...i already said they were used...DONT TRUST TOO PICKY! Piece of...
(I read the original auction and nowhere in the description does she mention they are used/worn.)

Case #2:
Buyer~a hole..and a stain..EW!
Polaris~Never contacted me. he has 4 negatives...thats an EWW!


She has the nerve to bash someone for negative feedback???
She's had 3 in the past month alone and 17in the past 6 months~!

part of me wants to have her banned from Ebay, but part of me doesnt, because like others have said, even if she gets banned, she could easily get a new name with a differn credit card and waht not in amatter of time. and then we would have the same problems all over again, yet confused as to if its her or a new person.

pisses me off se see sellers prey off the people. best thing to do is jsut to keep and eye out and spread the word. eventurally she will realize we all know what shes up to and she will just give up.

 

She actually called someone fat ugly and lazy because they left neg. feedback.
I'd like to punch her square in the teeth.
Unfortunatly even if she's booted off she would just open a new account. It seems this is her full time "job". The only thing that comforts me any at all is knowing that there is a nice warm spot in hell with her name on it. And hopefully when she goes there she'll be tormented by the "souls" of all the dolls she's exploited.

 

Why so late? I'd imagine that they'll be back to haunt her soon. And yeah, calling somebody fat ugly and lazy because you lied to them is uncalled for.

 

If you are planning to sell doll-related stuff on ebay and want this person out of your hair from the start, add them to your blocked bidder list.

Yes, they do. We have *that* outfit. If you're in the USA, buy it at Target. It'd be nice to sell it and get that much off of it, but I *certainly* have better standards than that. I'm a little shocked she could get the tights on her doll-- they don't fit on MSD boys, anyway. ops:

Somebody claiming to be her made a succession of overly happy and rather oblivious pity-party posts--could have actually been her, might've just been a troll. At any rate, the posts seemed designed to make people flame her, so I PMed one of the mods, who removed the posts. You're not senile! ^.^

There is about half of it missing. Volks eye puty is not sealed. Just closed in that little jar and put into small plastic bag. That's it.

 

Well... I suppose the Soony head she has up for auction with a faceup is reasonable-- that's a settling sight. I just don't like how all of her clothing items have "cosplay" key-spammed in them, but they are nicely priced. Maybe this person got a wake-up call. Or is fooling us for the duration of a couple of months.

 

Let us not forget the "LOLITA" spam.

 

I missed this thread until now. I initially sold the Konji doll and the Aga head. Something else, too...can't remember... I noticed 2 items back on eBay on what must have been the day they were received by her.

If I sell something on eBay, I guess anyone can do whatever they want with them if they buy them. I usually offer things for a reasonable BIN, but I don't expect someone to make money off of them. (And ask me to let them know if I have anything else to sell!)

So, I'm not going to sell dollfie stuff BIN...just let the market decide what the price will be.

(I remember I sold her a beautiful Elfdoll Adel. Wonder if it was resold.)

It looks like a Myu to me, but I don't own one, so it's hard to tell. The faceup isn't helping.

The shipping thing isn't that outragous. I had to pay about $35 US to ship the same box to Australia that would have cost about $10 here...mind you it was considerably bigger than a pocket fairy-sized doll, but still...

I feel bad for these dolls. ^^; I can't believe that boy one on the first page was obviosuly strung so wrong. People need to think about presentation before they sell stuff.

 

You've got a point there, I now realize--it was mostly the huge difference in price that concerned me, since at the time (I don't know if she's changed her prices since then) she was selling almost EVERYTHING with a flat international rate of $40, from SD-sized dolls to that mislabeled Konji doll.

 

Holy Crap!!! I sold her that DD head a few months ago as damaged as a throw in with the Soony head!!! That head was totaly warped a the bottom! If had realized it, I would have warned the bidders. My auction clearly states that the head is messed up. Grrrrr!!! Also, she sold my soony head for more than she or I bought it for. At least she paid fast. This really sucks! I will totally refuse her bids in the future!!!!

She has an auction up for a dollmore Asha (I think? XD), which could be completely ligitamte, but part of the describtion had me a litte nervous...
"She has been slightly modified so she is not new. But any faceup on her can be taken off if you like."
It implies that the makeup is the mod, but is just vague enough to be one of her tricks, I think...

Anyway, just thought I'd post. (and I think I recgonise the doll from here somewhere)

 

She is very odd.
In one response she even goes so far as to call some one a stalker?
I wonder if she has bi polar disorder.
I also noticed that often times when responding to a very well put negative response she will claim to not be able to understand their English when clearly her response has worse spelling, grammer, puncuation than theirs?
Her Asha is also odd most of the picture is fine until you get to the face, abnormaly blurry? Did she photo shop it to make it like that, it looks like the pixles were enlarged...I wonder if there is some damage to the face/faceup?

Does any one know if she changed the face up on the Irang that she is selling?
On the custom house image the lips are a much softer color than the dark red lips that are shown in her own images.

 

I know for a fact she is a retaliation feedback leaver- if someone leaves her negative or neutral feedback, she flames them. I don;t think she is bi-polar... she just comes across as very childish with her feedback. I have delt with similar people on e-bay, unfortunately...
