Atelier Momoni "Momoni" 40cm

Yes, Atelier Momomi held a L.E. fantasy colour preorder for Nena02 ( colour choices were Lavender pink and Iced Blue) on january 2016.

 

Such a cutie. I I think she looks great, I was wondering if tou only user pastels/pencil? I want a dark skinned girl, but I'm afraid of using acrylics and messing up If I want something more proeminent.

 

I do only use pastels and water colored pencils. I have tried to use paints many times but my hands are just too shaky and it always looks like a mess.

I previously owned two AtelierMomoni 13 inch girls, Reí and Reira.

I have long since sold them but when I saw Momoni MSD come out I was smitten.

Have I bit the bullet and bought one yet? No....

But that doesn't mean I won't in the near future...lol

I adore seeing your girls...it's hard to choose between both colors...

I have a dolly friend who lives nearby and she has both colors so I'm dying to get my hands on them to confirm my doubts about buying her on the secondary market...

Fingers crossed I can be more active on this thread!

Clothes shop and shoes (and wigs!!!!) would be greatly appreciated!

If you go back through the thread, you can see what other people are using. My girl is wearing mixed match stuff of things I already have. A lot are big on her. She does fit into a pair of Luts pants great though.

 

I'm done that? No one says what they're putting on her. No suggestions for shoes or clothes like you often see in other threads.

I'm mostly worried about buying her things and nothing fitting.

 

I don't have a Momoni but I would like to buy one somewhere in the future, @Chriandra this are her measures

Yay...I can now happily say that I've got two OOAK DollyDay Barcelona Toffee and Sand Fullset Momoni's!

Anyhoo... I'm in love. They are exceptional!

Your girls are gorgeous! Just to pre-warn you though, you are only allowed one photo per post. I’ve made that mistake before and a mod has deleted all but one photo. However now that I’ve commented, you’ll be able to put another photo below my post!

The point of a discussion thread is to talk about the dolls. It's why it's limited to one picture per post, and no double posting to post more pictures. This way the thread doesn't end up all pictures and bury any conversations that may be trying to happen. You can post as many pictures as you want in the gallery threads!

Same! So hard to find secondhand, though, which I can totally understand. Why would anyone ever let one of these cuties go? Lol. I’m hoping the Lola holds another pre-order soon, especially with MomoniK coming out. I’m a sucker for grumpy faced dolls! Though if I happen to find a toffee Momoni before then, my bank account is gonna be side-eyeing me, cause I’ll def get both!

I happened to find a Cocoa Momoni secondhand and she should arrive to me tomorrow! Of course, it was out of the blue and so I have nothing for her, yet, lol. I will be sending her out for face up ASAP and I’ve already begun commissioning clothing. The only thing that’s left is a wig. I really want a nice alpaca but it seems all the wig makers are on hiatus these days. And I hate making wigs.

I’m still looking out for any info on another pre-order. I want that MomoniK!

 

There will be a pre order very soon but I think just for Momoni because she sent MomoniK out and there are no pictures she got her in resin back right now.
I will definitely join the pre-order but can not decide which color...

My birthday is going to fall right when the preorder is.. Guess I know what I'm getting for my birthday! I had a cocoa momoni before and I miss her so much!

 

I don't know...I asked Lola on instagram when she officially announced the preorder today whether she'd be offering only regular Momoni or MomoniK as well. And she winked in response! So it may be a possibility, lol! It's all very mysterious!

Good question. I received these shoes second-hand when I bought another doll. When I inquired about them the previous owner told me that they were made for Fashion Dolls, if I remember correctly. It's been a while though. Wait, @farin was it from you where I got these shoes from (together with Aquariusdoll Mia)? If yes, do you happen to still remember where they are from?

 

So may be they are for fashion dolls like tonner - they fit Minifee as well... Thank you for your response

 

Lola just posted a picture of MomoniK in resin on her Instagram story. She’s amazing! This makes me even more hopeful that she’ll be in this upcoming preorder. I can’t wait to get my hands on a toffee version of her to go with my cocoa girl!

So, there is a new color added to the website called Java...

It's between Toffee and Cocoa and it's gorgeous!

I believe Momoni will be up next for preorder with Java as the newest color added for flesh choice.

Lola also might add the MomoniK full doll as an option.

I call her Dreaming Momoni because her eyes are half closed but she looks so sweet...

I have three Momoni MSD: Petal, Toffee and Sand.

They are incredible!

I will be ordering MomoniK in the Java most likely.

But I buy MiniFee clothing for my Momoni's and they work great.

HI everyone....I recently discovered these little ones and saw the info about the pre-order on the blog.....did it happen? I'm hoping I didn't miss it and someone found out about it in time :-)

 

The new preorder has not happened yet.

 

There has been 2 preorders already this summer/fall, but there's another one coming up in the future where Momoni and momoniK are included ^_^

I kind of want to have MomoniK but on the other hand, I seem to go towards Sd size nowadays I loved the way Momonita posed and this bigger size is tempting because of her posing skills and proportions.

 

i´m still undecided between momoni and momoniK but i saved some money so she will come home finally

 

She has shifted the pre order to the middle of November.


I will have my grail a Momoni in toffee skin home soon. A very kind doll lover brings one from Ldoll.

I just purchased a Momoni second-hand and am so excited to have her in hand! Thinking about also buying a Momonita during the preorder later this month but still on the fence since I prefer MSDs...

Does Momoni wear the same clothing sizes as Minifees, by any chance? The other ladies in my BJD family are mainly Minifees and I like being able to share clothes between them.

I have one in sand and one in Toffee.

The posing is incredible!

I have a lot of MiniFee clothing and although they fit overall, they're kinda big since Momoni is slightly shorter than the standard MSD size...

The next preorder is for both Momoni and MomoniK.

I call the MomoniK faceplate the "dreaming" face because she looks sleepy but still open eyed.

She will be on the same body as Momoni and Lola has already added one or two new colors including Java.

I will hopefully be getting two of the MomoniK to go with my two Momoni's.

Ah....I can't wait!
