Asleep Eidolon Waiting Room <3

Anybody here still waiting on an order and have heard anything about it?

I put in an order for 3 pairs of hands back in August and haven’t heard anything yet. Haven’t been able to get in contact with Asleep Eidolon either (tried via email early February and then tried messaging their Instagram account earlier this month). I can only assume that the virus is causing issues on their end, but don’t really know for sure since they don’t have anything posted online about it. x_x; Don’t even care right now if my order is delayed, just been wanting to touch base since I’ve been waiting for what’s gonna be 7 months now. Even just news about others getting their orders in would be great. xD;

 

I’m waiting on a Freya that I ordered from Legenddoll. I was really impressed with the communication so far! I know AE is different to get ahold of lately so it’s nice to have someone asking on my behalf.

I custom ordered her with the 59cm body with high heel legs. I know I’ve got a long wait(I’ve heard 9 months?) but I’m already excited.

 

Yeah, I only realized when they made their announcement around end of April that they were back to business that they were located in Wuhan. Dumbo me apparently never bothered to look at the address they have posted on their website. But yeah, it’ll likely be a bit of a wait for now since I can only imagine the backlog they have right now after having to be closed for several months.

Congrats on the new doll though! Freya looks super cute. I’m just waiting on some extra hands for my mini AE girl. Crossing my fingers that they’ll be coming my way sooner rather than later, but there’s no telling at the moment. >.< Probably for the best, already have a tons of international packages taking their sweet time in transit right now. OTL

The hands I’d ordered back in August arrived today! I had no idea that AE had managed to ship them out. It was a nice surprise. So glad for my girl to have new hands to replace the not so great default ones that came with her. She’s definitely yellowed quite a bit since I got her back in 2012, but seems like a good excuse to get all her new hands color matched and blushed.

Hey everyone! I just now found this waiting room. I'm currently waiting on a partial fullset Erin mermaid, and I ordered her back in April from clover singing. I'm coming up at the end of my wait (hopefully), and I'm so excited for her. the AE mermaids are some of my grail dolls from when I first entered the hobby.

 

Oh, I didn't realize we had a waiting room for AE! I ordered a Kalika (male body, default faceup) on May 3rd and I'm hoping I'm coming up on the last month or two of waiting. Speaking of which, if anyone has any pictures of a blank Kalika head sculpt, please show me! I've been scouring the internet trying to find some and I just cannot. I want to do faceup mockups and see if her sculpt would work for another plan of mine but I can't do that when she already has a faceup in all her pictures

 

Here to note that I ordered a female Lynn in March and that's when corvid19 hit Wuhan where AE is, and then flooding happened in April, and one day, I may get my doll lol. Also curious to see if anyone else is having delays or if this wait time is normal?

 

I ordered a doll in May and still haven't had any sign it's done yet. When I've ordered from them in the past, it's always been about 6 months so hoping that we both get some good news soon!

 

My doll arrived, I ordered her back in May so hopefully everyone’s dolls are showing up now.

I just ordered AE's limited gloria through Legend Doll (since it's sold out on AE's site). I'm very excited. I haven't gotten a new doll in years!! I know it'll probably take a little bit to receive it though haha Legend lists delivery time for this product right now as 5-6 months.

 

Good news for me too, i've just gotten a shipping notification for the doll I ordered in May, Hopefully anyone who ordered then will be close to getting their dolls!

 

I just got an email saying that Abyss has been shipped. I ordered him at the end of June and the wait is almost over!

 

I got home to see a box waiting for me in the entryway. He's so cute and I love his open mouth. I didn't have anything ready for him so he's just borrowing one of my other boy's sweaters and no pants.


I also love that he can pose like this! This is my first boy that can hold this pose.

 

So I just placed an order for the fairy Twilight on Legenddoll...I'm not sure why they still have her, when she's sold out everywhere else, hopefully they can actually get her and didn't just forget to remove her or something.

 

Oh Prince Monochrome I love your Abyss so much! One biggest regrets I had was not ordering Abyss back in last summer, I lusted for him so badly but decided to go with smaller dolls instead (and then suddenly had 9 of them, hahah oops)... And then couple days ago I noticed Legend Doll had Abyss head in stock and I'm weak so I ordered him. He's gonna need a body but that can wait till later, I'm just happy to get the head for now.

 

Oh thank you. That's wonderful that you could find him somewhere. He's so pretty and has become one my favorites in my collection.

 

I just ordered the tiny little 27cm Cordelia that they announced/released…yesterday? Oops.

Directly. XD I took a very quick gander and didn’t see any dealers that were carrying them. I got her in normal skin with a face up because oh boy, is she gonna be tiny. XD

 

That's slightly smaller than a barbie, I think. No way would I trust myself to paint a quality faceup at that scale. I got ine in normal skin as well, but I got the impression that their normal skin is still pretty pale.

 

I have been wanting a matureish doll in this scale, and I really didn’t have to debate too long before I pulled the trigger xD

 

Made my second payment, one more to go! Legenddoll has cpnfiremed via email that they got the payment, but my order page doesn't reflect that (...yet? ever?) I guess I'll have to do the math myself in a month's time
I actually found an unboxing of her...sister, I guess, Polar Night, on Youtube, so now I've got an idea how her wings attach at least, but the uploader won't answer my other questions I'm sure I'll love her but it's weird, getting a doll I know so little about.

 

Yeah, they don’t seem to be the best about taking pictures of their dolls nude, or at least making those pictures easy to find. @_@

 

Right, right, they do say which body she uses (Xaga 43cm, or something) so I could look that up and they also post pictures of the blank head, which is great and really contributed to my decision to buy her, but...I still kinda wanted a pic of the whole package or something. It's like nobody owns this doll even though she's sold out on the AE site proper.

 

It’s kind of like how the 1/2 Cordelia. I would love to snag one….but finding one? Good luck.

 

The 78cm one??? I don't think I've come across her before she's very impressive! I'm personally thinking about getting mini Agnes, too, maybe in white or fairy white. I'm not sure why they're not more popular, they look so nice. The lack of entries on the wait list akso makes it harder to get an accurate idea of wait times, could be any number of months it seems. I only know they were super slow last year due to covid (being in the middle of it all will do that, of course).
I also found it odd that Alice's Collections is a dealer for Xaga doll but not AE.

 

Yeah the 78 one. I would love to make a Suigintou and Shinku, and these dolls are 4 taller than they are in canon. Legend dolls supposedly has both, but for 200 more than they are listed (but sold out on) on the original site.

I like several of AE sculpts…I am wondering if they just aren’t at popular? It’s so odd.

Yes it was quite straightforward to order, ems shipping to the UK was $62. I think that's average for current ems rates

No idea, really. I've heard one additional month, but I don't have a concrete source for this.
I'm at three months, and I think up to six months is normal for a blank doll so I try not to think about it too much.

 

Yo, double post! Got a mail tonight that my fairy has shipped! I I expected a way longer wait so my first thought was that they got orders confused I am two days short of a four month wait. But the order no is correct and it's in my account as well. We'll see. Will update wait list later, am on my way to work.

 

I am on day 126 of my wait for one doll with faceup, wig and additional hands. *squints* It has been just so long since I have bought first hand, I am out of practice with the wait. The last doll I bought first hand was my Dollshe Rozen if I remember right, right when they first came back, so its been quite awhile lol.

Long waits are one thing but it's inconsistent wait times that really get to me. Makes planning ahead impossible.
Mine has arrived in my country but still has to survive customs. We'll see.
Of course I have promptly preordered another...mini Agnes fairy ver. In peach white with extra hands So I'm gonna stick around here for a few months more...

 

Yeah, when I get home I think I might message them. I paid for the doll outright and at the beginning of the preorder period too, I think. >,> even with a face up, the wait is a little bit boggling for that I think, given their stated times.

 

Hmm, I hope you'll update here if you message them, I'm curious too, about their supposed wait times, they seem really random.

I finally got an email this morning that she shipped - and tracking says she’s in the shipping hub one town over. I am scheduled to be able to get her Monday.

XD I have fiddled around with the settings so that she gets sent to the FedEx…lockers? At my local Walgreens so I don’t have to worry about her getting stolen lol.

Doesn't FedEx require signatures in the US (I'm assuming)? With my deliveries I would've had to explicitly give permission for them to leave my package anywhere without signing. I never did that though, I did choose an option that would let my neighbors sign, if I didn't they would have taken my stuff back to their depot.
Hope she gets to you safe and sound.

 

I chose Walgreens through the FedEx app actually, so I am guessing I will sign there. I am really, REALLY hoping she arrives tomorrow. She’s only about 45 minutes away lol.

Welp, my mini Agnes is already doneThat took only three months! I hadn't even paid her off when I got the mail (though I immediately paid her off afterwards).

Yes they're great dolls. I have an eye on Snow Pear, and the mermaids are tempting, too. I'm out of doll money for the year though

Huzzah, after two months stuck in shipping, my doll has finally arrived safe and sound! She's come with the new 1/4 body and it has quite a bit of difference from the previous body I have. I'm wondering about doing a comparison review if anyone is interested.

 

Very interested! You've also got Agnes, right? I've never seen the old body, so I'd like to know in case it comes up on the second hand market.

 

Yes, i've got human Agnes on the old body and Fairy Agnes on the new body. I'll see if I can put something together next week
