@Kimchi Oh so you haven't ordered from AE for a while. It's nice to see how different your doll looked then and now! I'd definitely like to see some of the other styles you mentioned.

 

Well, since you asked... This was during my heavy faceup phase and Marin's mori phase. Heehee, hopefully all this photospam of Marin will attract other wild AE owners back to the thread.

 

Is the one on the left Marin? She's so gorgeous I'm actually so sad, my wishlist just grows longer! And that style really fits her.

 

Yep, Marin is on the left! I had her like this for about 1 or 2 years, and then I changed faceup styles so all the old faceups had to get updated. Also, after Frozen came out I couldn't have her in that wig anymore because I would have gone mad with all the Anna comparisons. I've been tempted over the years to get another Jiao Sr. so I can have two at once in completely different styles.

Has anyone seen that lovely giant Cordelia that AE has released for their anniversary event?

I was so excited at first to see Cordelia, until I saw that she is a whopping 73cm. D: I really really would love to have one in standard SD size..

How long as it been since they have discontinued the SD Cordelia sculpt (particularly the version with the human ears)?

 

And, just like that, I was able to order an open-eyed 1/3 Cordelia right from Legend Doll! She will be made new and shipped to me in about 4 months!

It turns out that Legend Doll has a special arrangement with AE, and they are allowed to sell certain discontinued sculpts in their shop

Beautiful, beautiful Cordelia will be mine!

Congrats, what a lucky find! Cordelia is a cutie - I almost went for one when she was offered as the mermaid fullset. I've got my own discontinued grail doll I'm hoping a dealer can help me with. They still have her listed on their website, though the cynical part of me is saying it's because they're crap at updating their catalog and don't actually have her in stock. Your success gives me hope, though!

Well, I hope your Cordelia comes home post-haste! The AE wait times can be a true test of courage.

It's a Souldoll Tiny the Dreamer. She's so adorable, and I haven't found any other doll that has quite the same features as her! I actually had considered getting her as my first doll, but I was such a scared little newble that I couldn't bring myself to order a doll from overseas. I also talked myself out of an in stock one from DDE several years ago! So, it really is my fault I'm in the position I'm in.:'D

I can see why it would be hard to find a replacement for such a doll. Her features are both adorable and very unique

Hey guys! I'm thinking about getting a Snow MSD and I'm wondering what size clothes I should go for? Should I just look for MSD clothes and keep it at that? OR should I be looking for slim gals?

 

AE girls aren't slim MSDs. I think you'll do better with standard MSD clothes.

I actually got her just a few days before Christmas, if I recall correctly.

 

I was just quoted 40-60 days. I'd be surprised if it was that quick though, going on past experience.

Does anyone have the mermaids or mermen? I got Sachiel today from a seller on Facebook but have no idea how to attach his fin to his tail! Any help please!

 

I have one of the 1/6 mermaids, she has a S hook at the end of her tail that the different fins she came with attach to, much like doll hands usually do. Hope that helps!

I'm curious, does anyone have Fairy Sylph? I've been eyeballing her since she was first released but would love to see some owner photos!

I am also interested in owner pics of Sylph! I want to get a Sylph but am debating if I want the body/head or just the head. Also, could anyone verify if the ears are made of actual blue resin or if that's just the factory default blushing for Sylph?

 

I did end up ordering a fairy Sylph via Legend Doll with the company face-up. Im coming up to the 4 month mark on the wait so hoping it won't be too much longer before she's ready. I think the blue on the ear is blushing as I asked if that could be left off the face-up (I have a different colour scheme in mind) and there didn't seem to be a problem with that.

That's good to know about the time frame as I hadn't been able to find out much about the wait on AE dolls so wasn't entirely sure! When I left a message about leaving off the blue colour, the response back was to ask me if I still wanted the face tattoos. I confirmed I wanted them so i'm hoping they'll be added. But i'm a little apprehensive in case of misunderstanding. I don't mind if they forget and add the blue to the ears but would be disappointed if they accidentally left off the face tattoos. I'm also curious about how the wings look as it's hard to get an impression from the photos

 

I'm still waiting for Sylph but Agnes was ordered earlier and is here. But she was shipped without the outfit, with my permission!

 

Has anyone seen the teaser image that asleep eidolon posted on insta? I'm anticipating the 'elements' dolls.. but no idea what size or style they will be. Now I'm thinking to hold off on purchasing Sylph before I know what they plan on releasing soon!!

Another fun set of dolls, Slamandar is very cute (though I wonder if they meant the name to be Salamander and accidentally spelt it wrong ^^). It's also nice they've put out a male doll this time too. I'm really enjoying the fantasy fairy and mermaid dolls AE have been putting out, I wonder if they'll release some matching fairy mini dolls again as well?

I've just ordered Freya from Legend Doll as my first resin BJD and I'm sooo excited!

I haven't been able to find any owner pictures of the large Freya doll, only the mini one. Would anyone be able to share?

 

Freya is so darling! I love Freya & Sylph, such beauties. I think I've seen some owner photos of Freya on instagram, not sure about any on DoA.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a pair of heel feet that would fit the AE 58cm girl body? I know Angel of Dream and Doll Love sell heel feet, has anyone tried those and/or know if any of the colours match AE's normal pink?

 

AE has SD heel feet. I just ordered 2 pairs from legenddoll a few weeks ago.
