Glad I could help! One thing I should point out - I don't know why the LM body looks so hunched over in the pictures when the dolls are sitting down. It's a solid sitting body. If anything, the Luts body was more difficult to get to sit than the LM body. The Luts body has something inside the hip joints that "locks" them in place - you just gotta push the abdomen back a bit, and you'll hear (and feel) a light click. Also - please don't hold the stands against the dolls. They are all on heel feet, and at that size, you need either heel legs or very supportive boots (like the LM body has) to hold the legs firm so that the dolls will stand on their own. Plus, I have a cat who loves to knock dolls over, so the stands were insurance against that, too. All three are solid standers on flat feet.
I'm glad all three are solid standers, it sounds and looks like they're great bodies! I'm in love with LM Echo, but oddly enough, I can relate when you say you don't like Sophia on her own body. Her round little face makes the neck look a bit too long. Same with the Luts body, while Zhi Shen looks amazing on it!
Ha! Welcome to my hybrid madness. I love the Grace Echo Harmony body - I just don't like Sophia's round head on it. I put her on the DF-A body with its broader shoulders on whim, and I liked it so much, it's her body now. But I am going to swap Luna and Zhi Shen. I like how the bodies look with the swapped heads so much better. It's funny that Zhi Shen has such a small head, when the 68 cm Miracle Doll muscular female body she came with is just enormous. Zhi Shen really needs a smaller body to go with her head - it's like the opposite of Doll Chateau/Dream Valley (BIG heads, tiny bodies).
There is a method to your madness. You are the queen of hybrids, and I'm learning so much from your comments and photos.
Aw, thank you for your kind words! I own a LOT of dolls. If someone can get some useful info from my collection, then I've added a little joy to the hobby, and that's the best thing.
I saw you posting in the feeple60 thread, do you have any feeple60 heads you wouldn't mind trying on the DFA 58cm body?
OK, a few notes: 1) this is an older DF-A 58 cm body with hidden knee peanuts. The newer body (I have the 68 cm version) is much more shapely and curvy. DF-A 58 cm hybrids Having said that - I might just be ordering a new DF-A 58 cm body, because OMG, I love this hybrid (and I'm not a huge fan of FL hand/foot sculpting): DF-A 58 cm hybrids More pics (and hybrids) under the spoiler. Spoiler: all the pictures Sans wig: DF-A 58 cm hybrids Nice, snug fit (no gaps): DF-A 58 cm hybrids DF-A x Dollshe Amanda Beauty (before the Great Fuckening): DF-A 58 cm hybrids Profile (also snug fit): DF-A 58 cm hybrids With wig - her head looks a hair too big for this body. I'm adding another body to my wishlist now, lol. Thanks for the request!
Thank you so much! I'm planning on putting an event head on this body, so it's great to know the fit is looking good. Was the mobility alright? do you think the hybrid looked too pin-headed on the body standing?
So I like my heads on the smaller side - I might not be the best person to ask. The mobility is... OK. I'm not the hugest fan of the FL neck connector system. I would recommend sticking a small (2-3mm) silicone kip underneath to keep the head in place.
More hybrids, in case anyone is looking: Limhwa elf head on Impldoll new Idol 68 cm body in brown resin: Limhwa x Impldoll Yummysweetsdoll Lotus (1/5 scale) with Dollmore FMD arms and legs: Yummysweetsdoll x Dollmore Yummysweetsdoll x Dollmore Miracle Doll Zhi Shen head (white) on Iplehouse nSID body (normal); Iplehouse EID Doria (normal) on Miracle Doll 68 cm female muscular body: Iplehouse x Miracle Doll No adapters needed.
