Yea Sarisen- on the order confirmation page there will be a link to go to Paypal. Just cancel your current order and make another one and look for that link...that's what I had to do when I ordered my girl. XD It's pretty confusing.

I would definitely go with 8mm eyes for her! And don't worry about the resin aging...Animethemed was either the first person to order from them or one of the first people, and she hasn't noticed any aging! Just make sure you don't sit her outside for an entire day. XD

Did you guys post in the Waiting Room?

 

Oh congratulations Kerantli!! I guess we gonna receive our girls around the same time =) This is so exciting! I'm also doing the face up myself… We'll see how thats gonna work out… haha!

I emailed Aquarius and they sent me the invoice via mail, so she's paid now! Wee! I totally missed that link…

Sarisen Yeyyy I'm so excited to see another tan Chloe!! XD I completely agree that the company pictures aren't too flattering...the owner pictures are what helped me decide!

I have to admit, it took me a few seconds on each page to actually notice it, I didn't even think to email and ask that way! I just cancelled the order and redid it (and very nearly ended up with two Mia's instead of one, thankfully I knew the amount I was paying beforehand, so spotted that mistake (would have come to $800!) and rectified it)

And yes Sarisen! It seems like we will be getting our dolls at nearly the same time! Congrats on your Chloe - she is on my list of dolls to get later down the line, the Chloe I ordered is for my friend. I posted in the waiting room, well, I split the order into two. I can't wait to actually receive Mia, and see Chloe before sending her off to Impish

@Miyu and @Anime Thank you ladies, honestly after hearing from momo that her and you Miyu were doing themed dolls. Being the nerd I am, ideas just straight away popped in my head and I do enjoy AQDolls, 'specially Momos. Her girl is so cute and a badass haha!

Don't panic! lol Now you get to start choosing items for her. &#9829; The tan skin is awesome, I think you are going to love it.
I've been taking my tan girl to meets since December, and she doesn't seem to have yellowed or greened at all. I don't keep her in the sun at home, just a few times out to meets. She seems to be doing very well though!
Love the plans for her wig, that sounds really cool!
Also, have you checked out the DeyeY eyes? They come in all sizes, and are much easier to customize than making them from scratch.

Not a great closeup pic of her, but here is a photo of Nashira at the doll meet from Sunday. (Next to Kimi's DZ girl no less! hehe and she's even holding my mini pumpkin!)

 

I have a feeling both me and Impish will be messes by the time it comes to shipping.. We're both quite.. uhm.. neurotic when it comes to ordering dolls. (she has already made sure I got her face up request right..)

Animethemed, I know the feeling. There are a few characters I really love, but I think doing a more "inspired" look vs an exact replica is much easier for me. XD

sarisen, yeah I think indirect is just fine. I mean, you can't live in a deep dark dungeon all the time just to spare them from a little yellowing. :/

Most likely yes, I just need to figure out a new head cap and weft style. I like what you do so I might try and do that. But I need time to do it, I don't know when I'll have that time to practice new stuff OTL

 

I can show you how I make my wigs. Maybe we can have a wig-day/work-day session soon!
Once you get the gist of it, you just have to keep adding hair. XD

I have bought many shoes on ebay, love ebay! Some of them arrive and doesn't fit though… So disappointing when you have been waiting a long time for them… (Thats why I'm measuring like crazy now haha)…

Hi Im so lusting after a Chloe (LBS) She's definitely on my wish list along with a tan/real skin Taren, a DC Lance and a Spiritdoll Snowdrop in tan. At the minute she's at the top Anyways that aside - I have a pair of those floral boots for my minifee girls and I notice that their foot size is very similar ( forgive me if Im wrong) But I thought you might like to see how they look (on an off topic doll obvs) but the overall effect will be similar.

As you can see they are a little on the large size but I think it looks ok, especially if AQR dolls are taller

 

Haha ok so I was innocent this time&#8230; ;-) I know I have asked the same question before but for another doll, but I have too much in my head right now so it would not have surprised me if I remembered wrong and it was in this thread I posted the question&#8230; Anyways, thanks again for the measurements! I think it's hard to find bjd shoes for msd girls with small/narrow feet&#8230; Even my shoes with an ok inner length look very chunky, big and wide on my girls who are shorter than 44 cm&#8230; So I'm now buying tonner shoes for my smaller high heeled girls instead =)

Hi everyone! Sorry for going a bit AWOL - I'm sure Kerantli told you I'm on holiday Eagerly awaiting my Chloe though!! *happy dance* I've earmarked the end of June/beginning of July for photos!

I'm wondering if anyone thinks it would be a good idea to start up a "What Fits" Database? Even just for shoes? I have a LOT of clothing and shoes (Kerantli will verify :P) for dolls - Leeke, Iplehouse, Dale Rae, Nine9Stule, Dollmore, Alice's Collections... So I'll be able to help out when my Chloe arrives

 

Yes, Impish really DOES have a lot of clothes, I have seen the box, and it rivals my fabric stash!

 

I think a what fits database is a great idea!

I've been working on redoing Maya's face up over the past few days...I completely finished it at one point but I wasn't sure about it, took a picture, and was like, "NOPE" then instantly removed it. XD Maybe I'll be able to finish it tonight. x_x;
