I just got the AOD bodies I bought on Ebay from Renaissancefashion. They are perfect! Service was good, delivery was timely, packing was fine! The dolls are beautiful quality btw.

I too have ordered a WS body from Jack and his positive feedback on eBay for doll sales is very encouraging.

 

I got my AOD from Jack today. Came very fast, good shipping, good communication, I would definitly, and will be buying form him again. I dont see why people didnt have faith xD

 

Out of curiosity, when did you order it? (Just so I have a rough idea how long Matresca's body will take to get here! )

 

I ordered it 19th. He dispatched it the 20th.

 

Now that's what I call service - shipping it the very next day! I'm looking forward to receiving mine then! I was just a little concerned that I haven't had notification of shipping or the EMS number, but if Jack's had to suddenly take over the Singapore agent's jobload then I can see that getting orders out physically takes precedence over an email.

 

I was given an EMS number so I wouldnt worry about it . You should get it eventually

 

Is Jack not running any further eBay auctions?

I thought he was an independant and seperate agent of AOD and had nothing to do with the website in Singapore.

Jack and Alan are both eBay sellers; whilst Izumi was offline Jack was also assisting with filling and despatching orders from the Singapore website. Now Izumi is back online and will resume dealing with orders from the website whilst Jack and Alan continue to sell on eBay. Izumi does not have anything to do with eBay sales. Jack will be continuing to sell on eBay as RenaissanceFashions.

 

I've seen other people posting that the 1/3 bodies they'd ordered had come in 1/4-sized boxes, but I haven't seen any complaints of stains or damage to the bodies....

Could anyone who's received a complete 1/3 doll (as in, with head etc, not just a body) tell us what sized box their doll came in? Could they have run out of 1/3 boxes temporarily and had to ship in what they had to hand (i.e. 1/4 boxes) just to try and fill orders in time?

Katasha, I agree - it's just not acceptable for your doll body to arrive in that state, and you should definitely complain to Alan (sky18482310521). I am know even more impatient for Matresca's body to arrive so we can see if this is something common to all the AOD bodies being shipped out, or unique to just this one seller.

 

My 2 AoD girls bodies arrived in 1/4 size boxes too but they were'nt all scrunched up in a fetal position like Katasha's nor were there any stains on the bodies or damage to the boxes. I bought mine from Renaissancefashion on eBay (Jack).

 

HOLY CRAP! I just bought an AOD doll from that exact same ebay seller, and had no idea!

But my doll came within four days...

Well, Matresca's body finally arrived yesterday - and yes, it was in a 1/4 size box, with bubble wrap only around the hands - however, the "pillow" in the box is more like a big fluffy, silky doll duvet and she was wrapped up in it very snuggly! No marks or blemishes, the resin is nice and smooth without any cracks or bubbles, and overall I'm quite happy.

I'm not happy that I paid for an express delivery service and didn't get it, but overall I'm pleased and I've left positive feedback for Jack on eBay. I do need a boy body for my BW Vmpire Elf Yder, so I may well be ordering from Jack again!

I ordered a 1/3 AoD Gu and he arrived in a 1/4 box curled in a fetal position exactly like the photos. He wasn't damaged though. He was sanded all over but very roughly. There are scratches all over his body. I didn't have any marks or stains. Overall, I'm pretty happy with him. I don't like his face (could be the face-up) and he's too short (next to my Soom Sabik), but there's nothing wrong with his quality. I prefer his resin to the DIM dolls I used to have. I'm going to touch up his body as it needs a little work.

 

my 1/3 full doll came in a 1/4 box. And so did my extra 1/3 body. The doll was ordered direct from the website. The body came from Alan on ebay.

also..... since it has been established that renaissancefashion is NOT an illegal seller, shouldn't, for courtesy sake and also not to mislead readers, the title of this thread be changed to reflect that?

 

I very much agree; can we have a title change please? Or perhaps the mods could merge this thread with the AOD Waiting Room thread?

 

Yes, i was thinking this only the other day. Renaissancefashion is most definitely not an illegal seller but this thread title sticks out like a sore thumb - maybe the mods could do something about it?

 

either the mods or the originator of this trhead can edit the title.

I think it's unfaior to damage a sellers reputation particularly since the claim was quickly proven to be untrue.

 

I agree that the title of the thread should be changed. Perhaps someone could PM a mod or the OP originator and ask them to do so?

I went with renaissancefashion because based on the threads I've read on this board, he's proven to be the only consistently reliable AOD dealer of the lot. All the recent problems I've read about so far seem to stem from the earlier sellers. (although to be fair, afaik the US seller hasn't started selling yet.)

 

I have been Emailing Jack while deciding on the right colour skin for the body I need. He has been very helpful and I will be placing my order with him soon.
I totally agree that a change of title is defianatly in order.
