Anthro Dolls: Are they pets of your human dolls, or separate?

I only have full human or full animal dolls right now, so the animals are pets, but if I ever get an anthro doll, it will be from a completely different storyline. My current stories are all very realistic and a bipedal animal in clothes just wouldn't make sense here. I could see it working better in a fantasy themed story.

 

I have one anthro doll (dollzone Miss Kitty) and one on Layaway (Doll Chateau Xaviera), and they are imaginary friends of one of my future doll characters.

 

Currently, my anthro characters (that will be dolls one day) are the guardians of my more human characters. I didn't wanna make them like pets, because I wanted them to be like equals with my other dolls
