I was beginning to wonder myself...but I haven't heard anything

 

I haven't heard anything yet either.

 

I got a package today and I was so excited thinking it was Victoria...turned out to be a wig for another doll I have on layaway *headdesk* I'm think of emailing Angell-Studio to try and get an estimate of how much longer...this wait is starting to kill me

So if what I'm seeing here is any indication, it looks like it'll be May before those of us who ordered in January are gonna see anything I did, however, just send off an email to Angel-Studio asking if they can give me an estimate, so I'll let you guys know what they said when they get back to me.

I'm guessing they're just a little behind due to the new year.

 

I've heard back from Angell-Studio and what they said was that my Victoria is currently in the waiting line to get into see their faceup artists and that it should be another week or two and she'll be ready to be shipped. So hopefully I should see a shipping notice around the time my Exam's finish That's good news for you guys who ordered ahead of me. You should see something within the week

That's good news. I'm really looking forward to my Elizabeth. Ordered slightly after so I suspect mine will be done in a month max.

I contacted Angell-Studio and mine should be done next month They're also going to send me a photo of her when she's done.

 

Lemon confirmed my doll is still being made & won't be ready for 2-3 weeks, and that is despite a longer Layaway :-( I was hoping she'd be ready to ship on payment of the last instalment

 

I'm estimating that my girl should be at MoC sometime next month.... buuuuttttt that won't matter cuz I still need to pay her off *cries*

 

Ahh just got an update from my agent and it seems I won't be getting my order until end of April or early May

I ordered on Jan 11th but I guess they take some time for agents batches or something, sighs~

 

I'm growing so impatient.. I want to see her in personnnnnn lol

 

I thought some people who ordered in January should be expecting shipping notices this week. I hope it won't be long. I'm getting impatient to have at least one bjd home with me and especially the first one I ever ordered I know Ciel isn't going to be shipped until October at least and loongsoul take many months. So many people ordered a TDF centaur the same day as me that I'll be lucky if I receive her any time soon either.

 

Nope...no shipping notices yet. I was hoping to have one by the end of the week, but hey, there's always next week ^_^

 

Ishtar put on the Angell-Studio Youth and charm thread today that their Victoria was currently receiving a faceup. My estimate was next month so I'm guessing yours should be done end of the month/early next month at the latest.

 

Well Lemon told me two weeks ago it should only be another week or two...so I'm anxiously waiting for a shipping notice any day now. Can't wait to get my Victoria home

 

Hello, everyone! ^^ I just placed a short layaway order for an AS Aaron at MoC; my first doll from them! Really sad the wig he's pictured in is sold out, but I'm hoping to find something similar, or maybe see if someone can make me a curly wig like that - he's legit the spitting image of the character my best friend created, which is why I had to order him. So I died a little inside when I found out the wig was sold out! Haha.
Are the wait times from them really long? I'm hoping I may be a little bit safe from a long wait (compared to the 7mth wait I had on my DF-H girl, and the current potential yr long wait for my other doll) since I didn't order him around Christmas, and he's coming blank. If it's a long wait though, I'll be okay, cause he'll be worth it!

 

In my experience with A-S pre-orders from MoC, it's normally 4-5 months.

 

My Chiyu just got his faceup done! I'm hoping that he'll be ready to ship pretty soon now!

I'm updating to say I just made another layaway payment and I'm over 2/3 of the way there now, since I unexpectedly sold the doll I had on the MP! I'm looking forward to having my layaway fully paid off, so I can get some things for my new doll while I wait for her to arrive. So excited! And I sent AS some example photos yesterday of the color I want for her nails, they're going to be a shimmery periwinkle.

 

I didn' get a chance to post earlier, but I paid for my Elizabeth and can't wait for her to come home ♡

 

I have 3 more payments. I'm so like... In a daze. I'm really excited for her, but at the same time I'm kinda like "this is taking too long" lol

 

Sherry just got shipped to my taobao agent!

But uh..
They sent me the wrong Sherry...
The rococo version instead of the band version I ordered Orz
And I think she's white skin unless AS has changed their normal skin to reaaaaaaaaaaally light.

I hope it can get sorted.

 

ohhhhhh no I hope they get it sorted! Angell-Studio's normal skin isn't THAT light. Their Solid Pink is though, maybe they confused your order? That's happened to me before.

 

Me too ; ~; I was just really hoping to have her by the meet next week, laughs;;

She looks pretty stark white in the photos and from what I remember their white is paper white like that. @__@;;
Maybe it is solid pink, though I'll take that at this point. So tired of waiting!
I think I'm one of the few remaining orders for Sherry left though, unless someone else placed an order through the same agent.
Crossing my fingers that this is the case and I'll have my proper Sherry soon. I really prefer her band makeup over the Rococo version ; ~;

Tenyune, I'm sorry about the situation with your Sherry! But, if the faceup is important to you, it makes sense to wait a bit longer. I hope she reaches you soon! She's very cute.

I made some changes to my order, but since I was the last one to post the list, I just went back and edited it. I also updated because I paid off my layaway today, which feels awesome! Now I'll just be waiting for about 2 1/2 more months...

 

Angell-studio contacted me with a photo of Elizabeth's faceup to approve Shouldn't be too long now.

 

I can' wait to see your Elizabeth! I'm just shy of the halfway point for my Elizabeth. So excited!!!

 

Chiyu arrived today! I emailed AS yesterday trying to get some information on when he might arrive, and lo and behold, he just magically appeared in the mail truck today. The tracking number they gave me said that he was still at customs in New York, but I'm not going to complain much about that.

He was shipped out on 14 May and his faceup was finished on 27 April.

 

So much going on that I forgot to post Angell-Studio sent me photos of my Victoria's faceup (so lovely) and she's been shipped!!! I'm expecting her towards the end of next week, but we'll see. So excited!!! Can't wait to see her in person and get some photos of her with the rest of my Sailor Moon crew

 

Victoria as Queen Beryl?! HOW AWESOME!!!! Please post pictures, I'm such a moonie!!!! XD

Ok my doll is in San Francisco and I am in Sacramento(So about three hours away) but is says she is "Inbound Into Customs" And that "Your item is being processed by United States Customs" what does that mean exactly? Do I have to pay a customs fee now when she gets here? And how long will she be held there?

 

@SmilesEvily: It depends on how the dolls are classified under United States import law. I know here in Canada, I sometimes pay custom fees and sometimes I don't. When I'm ordering for a doll company overseas I find I don't, but if I get one coming through the States, I do.

Where it's an international package, it has to be checked out by Customs, regardless of if there are any fees are not. I'll cross my fingers for you in the hopes you don't get any fees (cause they suck), but I'd be prepared just in case.

My Elizabeth is still in customs waiting clearance So much for an express service. It only took a day to get to the UK too all the way from China.

 

Ah that sucks! Do you know if you're going to have to pay custom fees?

 

Yeah will definitely pay customs fees. Should be around £100 with the handling fee on top of it

 

Awww.. I hope it's not TOO bad. I hear customs can hold packages hostage for a while I hope it's not too much longer for you!!!

 

Eek I was hoping mine would get through customs....my last two AS packages did. :S

 

Finally she's through customs and awaiting fees to be paid. Sadly waiting for the letter stating the amount it is and the ref number but hopefully I will have that by tomorrow so I can pay and then arrange delivery for Friday. Worrying she will be damaged in some way so until I've opened her and checked her over I'm going to be anxious.

 

Is it bad that I'm impatiently waiting for the "your order is here!" e-mail from MoC even though I still haven't paid her off yet? >_>
