Got shipped on the 24th and arrived today! Super fast on both production and shipping with a close to three month wait.
Very happy with Adele, also wow 60cm girls are BIG.

 

@Chrys That is amazing! I ordered my girls in October and while they were marked completed in late Jan/Feb, my girls did not ship for a month. I hope they won’t take too long in shipping limbo. It’ll be my first AS dolls.

 

My November order shipped on Feb 17th and finally arrived yesterday (Yanwen handed her off to a shipping partner I’ve never heard of that managed to take a week to cross the state of Massachusetts with her). Aiofe is super cute in person and I like the milk skin color a lot more than I thought I would!

 

Ordered my first AS in December, Helen Elf, via LegendDoll. Hoping she'll ship soon!

 

I ordered my tan Lingze in December and am told by New Clover Singing that she's shipped I'm sure yours is gonna be shipped soon

Caved and ordered Xin. Been staring at the product photos for several days and gave in. Now the waiting game.

 

I ordered a dress, wig, and a few accessories February 14th and the order still says "before shipping" is this normal?

 

It sounds normal! I ordered the Queen Daisy dress on Feb 3 and I just got a shipping notification yesterday. I've had wig only orders ship after about two weeks from AS, but my best guess is the dress was still in production.

 

Thanks! I did end up emailing and they gave a mid-may estimate. I ordered the princess one.

 

@Kynthiamoon Oh not long now! It's soooo pretty! The gown stuck such a chord with me because of how it resembles the breathe dress from Ever After. ❤️

I'm back here again! Ordered Xin in tan skin with face up and her outfit after I kinda sorta missed the sales period by a day lol (I will never hesitate on a doll again). Kinda regret it a little because she turned out to be a Lot more expensive than I expected, but I hope that'll turn into excitement soon.

 

I forgot to add her, but I ordered He Dong Jun on May 4.

 

After about 6 months, she's finally be shipped out via DHL!

 

I joined the AS Wait, if not this waiting room, on the 30th of May. By some act of serendipitous luck, I had familiarised myself with how Taobao works precisely in time to catch a summer sales event and I ordered myself a Cynthia with a custom face-up. I’m beyond excited for her to arrive. She’ll be my first BJD coming back into the hobby after retiring from it in 2009. I’ve already bought a ton of stuff for her too, so I hope I’m actually able to enjoy having a BJD again.

Got the email that my Xin has shipped! Now to hope nothing goes wrong with shipping. Lately my post office just sends things back to the sender without even bothering with delivery.

Hi! I just ordered my first Angell Studio doll (always loved their sculpts); Can anyone give me an idea of the wait time? Full doll with make-up, I paid in full so excited!!

 

My Cynthia with custom face-up (in theory!) which I ordered through Taobao on May 30th/June 1st, has arrived to the shipping warehouse (Sept 6th). It will probably be another month at least before I see her as she’s stopping off in the US briefly to be forwarded to me in the UK. Really hoping she does have the custom face-up, I wasn’t shown it for approval or anything.

 

My Cynthia arrived to me today, but I’m a little disappointed. The custom face-up was only half correct and I had really thought the 62cm girls came with a thigh joint, but they don’t (anymore?) Not sure when they did away with the joint but it’s another thing what I was hoping to get but didn’t. Might have to see if I can find a second-hand body with the thigh joints. I’ve brought up the face-up oversight to the attention of the AS customer service agent, so we’ll see if anything can be done to rectify it. After the National Day holiday period.

 

Legenddoll said my Xin is ready to be shipped! Very excited for her. (And of course the wig and eyes I've ordered for her are nowhere near here yet lol).

My first doll from them took a little under three months with shipping, this one seems to be a little over four months with shipping.

 

My Taobao agent just got my doll and sent pics, so she should be coming here shortly yay

 

She arrived! That's the fastest I've ever gotten something from overseas, usually stuff hangs out at customs for a few weeks lol. But I also bring bad news, I'm very disappointed with the face up. Her beauty mark is missing. I'm honestly so sad about this.

 

My Kana just got here! Posting a box opening shortly. Her box got a bit dented but she herself was ok.

 

I saw an Angell-Studio from a friend and I fell in love, their quality is great!

So I ordered mine, I picked the Night elf.

I ordered through LegendDoll in April for Jing along with some clothes/wigs and just finished my layaway, though LD says it'll probably be about 3 - 4 months more until the order's ready to ship. I guess that'll put me at a 5 - 6 month wait...? Hoping it ships sooner because I'm excited to meet her!

I ordered a Crescent/Night Elf on 4th March and I've been told, she has been shipped. I ordered through Newcloversinging So your girl shouldn't take much longer! Unless they start production once you paid off your layaway

 

I did order her with faceup! I think LegendDoll places the order when you start the layaway, since they said they were processing my order when I first placed it. Hopefully she will be ready soon like your Night Elf!

So I just ordered a Claudia in milk skin. Originally I wanted her blank, but today I changed my mind and thought, I couldn't live without the wig and high heels. But when I wanted to place the order, the fullset was sold out already. Saves me some cash, lol

 

My Crescent has arrived, but with a broken foot sadly. Hopefully AngellStudio will send me a new leg

I do not know how it happened, but the leg was still wrapped up, yet the broken piece was somewhere next to the leg.

Just ordered Jing in Milk skin through Clover Singing and I can't wait!

 

I got my Ondine doll some days ago (after 4 months waiting) and she arrived with a very bad faceup!
(I already own 2 AS dolls and they have good make up, but this one was really bad)

Not only was not close to the promo pictures (the lips were not brilliant, and were not red/pinkish at all but peach) but was very inaccurate, like an amateur did it.

Fortunately I got refund for the make up, I was also told other customers complained about it.
Hope this is a single case for this doll and will not happen again.

 

I just got my Kelly and I don't know if I am overthinking it, but I feel like the makeup is off, especially the lips! Not just the color but the detailing seems off...the last angell studio doll I got was really close to the pictures though

 

So sorry to heard it happened with another doll Try to contact them, definitely.

I know the make up will never be the same as promo pictures, but at least should be decent!

 

Just wanted to drop a line here that my AS Kelly has finally shipped from New Clover Singing!

So about a six month wait. They already shipped the fullset separately last month, but now the actual doll is coming home! Will post pictures when I get her all together.

 

I just got a shipping notification from Clover Singing for my Jing! I ordered her on July 8th and got the shipping notification on September 30th and I'm pleasantly surprised at how short the wait time was. Maybe because I ordered a blank doll without faceup? I'll be sure to show you when she arrives

Oops, I forgot to update this thread! Kelly arrived on October 5th after 34 days in transit. It took me several days to get her dressed up, though, because the fullset is complicated. But I finally got it, and took some quick pictures. I'm very happy with her.

 

Hello fellow waiters. I just wanted to share my excitement that I ordered Aeolian in milk tea skin two days ago. Quite an impulse purchase for me, but I just fell in love with her on first sight. I hope her faceup will live up to the promo pictures, seeing that some people here were not satisfied with Angell Studio's faceups in the past.
Well, now the waiting game begins. Curious, how long Angell Studio will take for an SD full set. Is 6 months about the right time frame?
