Yea...I thought of maybe just sleeping a little but when I lay my head on the pillow, it starts to hurt more -v-; Maybe I'll sleep sitted tonight LOL! XD Surprisingly, music helped a lot though, even singing!

Well, I can't really tell much about the current resin, my Yuma is pretty old! If it hasn't changed, I think it's pretty nice, imo! I have the translucent white (that has yellowed a lot XD it's still a nice butter-like color) so I can't tell about the solid resin! As for the sealant, hm...well, it might make the head show up a liiiitle whiter, but that happens with all dark-skinned dolls. My tan tiny's head is ever so slightly lighter because of the MSC. Although! That kind of depends on the sealant too. I've heard that some sealants are entirelly transparent and they don't show up more white against dark resin. But even if it shows, I don't think it'll be enough to bother, most of the time I even forget my tiny's head is slightly lighter XD

I am a little sad myself, but I do have my tinies and my Yuma to distract me uvu Sometimes, when my bro isn't here, I even take out the big guy to play with, rarely though because he's missing eyes -v-; Someday, I will tell them and hope they won't take it too badly, but I just feel like, I'll need to have accomplished something before I can tell them! So I can show them that, it's not money wasted, you know? >_<;
Yea, when I first started out in the hobby, I was actually living alone, around 6 and a half hours away from my parents' town XD; (because of uni that i gave up on to try for fine arts instead). It was really nice to have my babus around so I could look at them and admire them uvu I even had my kdf positioned next to my screen XD (when I moved to live with parents again, I had my tinies right in front of my screen, but my parents never really said anything XD)

Yay! Activity! More of us! I hope we can keep the thread alive this time I often want to like bump the thread but I don't have anything new to share. Though Momo did just get some new clothes (Chase too!) so maybe I'll take some pictures tomorrow to share. I really want to see everyone's new dolls as soon as they get here!

I have plans for a Cassie in suntan skin too, but as of right now I have NO money (This A-S event sure took me by surprise!) but I will definitely post photos when Abu comes in. Probably wont be for a while though, since I ordered from MoC and the order doesnt get put in until July ;_;

The thread is quiet indeed. Also, because Cassie is relatively new I'm not sure how many people have actually taken the plunge yet. I'm interested in her, she's adorable, but my focus is on bigger dolls at the moment. Castalia is such a cutie!

 

Thank you! ^^ She is beautiful and I wish I had better pictures of her. Maybe this weekend. ^^ Her wings are AMAZING. They are 2/3 her height, super sturdy but not too heavy, and the colors are gorgeous. 3 Super pleased with her!

Does anyone know if other companies hands work with the AS Babies? They are the only thing about the doll that I'm not terribly happy about and the optional AS 1/6 hands aren't as nice as their larger sizes. :<

 

Hmm, interesting question.. I've never tried. I think size-wise it would, but I'm not sure about resin matches. Maybe something like IslandDoll would work, because they have translucent resins too and a nice selection of hands. Sadly my AS tiny and my IslandDoll girls are the most yellowed in my collection, so I can't try for you.

 

Soom will work, I'm not sure about how great of a match it would be, but I have Bygg hands for my Kimo because I didn't like their hands either and he came with the "peace" hands that I was really not fond of. But AS let me order all their hands in grey when I bought him, so I rarely use the Bygg hands now! They do fit though...

 

Akutenshi7 Castalia is sooooo pretty! did you get the factory faceup for her? Or you did it yourself? I'm thinking of getting Cassie.. or Bella.. I can't decide.. Both of them are very cute. Anyway can we get more Cassie spam?

no, they sell the other two:Trick and yasya , but I like Treat... I once emailed them and told them that I like to order Treat, but they told me it's a gifted doll ... I suppose I need to join some group order now

 

I see! That's such a shame, i hope you can find a way (and quickly enough too). If a group order is not an option, maybe you can get one of the other ones and then sell their head and put Treat on the body? Since he's a free event head that wouldn't be much more expensive...
