Angelheim Mini 1/4 doll Discussion: part 1

Tanu-chan- thank you it is funny, he has been wearing this wig smoothed out for a few days now.. i think i like it better O.O

Vampiresmiley- wait what?! how on earth can you make a brown outfit, black? that is crazy and you have been waiting for so long, they should have had this resolved a loooooong time ago. this is the one thing that has made me upset.

 

I LOVE ANGELHEIM!! They get back to you so quickly when you email them and when they do happen to make a mistake they get right on it. I just got an email saying they are working on his outfit now and will be finished with it by tomorrow afternoon. Griff will ship Friday!!

i love the company too, but that just is just kind of upsetting, oh well though i am very happy you get him soon can't wait for all the new spam!!

 

Well, it's Thursday...Although Thursday is just about over in Korea by now...unless they meant my Thursday...either way, I'm about glued to my inbox and to my order status page on their website lol Here's hoping for a shipping notice!!! It would so rock, I've been having some crappy weeks here..

 

Heya veteran Angelheimers, I ordered a Kyle a few weeks back and didnt realize I need to confirm receipt by sending them an email, which I did finally did but my order status still says "confirm receipt". Did something go wrong or is this pefectly normal? Im way too used to "before shipping"!

O_O I didn't...they actually emailed me like three weeks into my wait lol So they definitely have my order and know everything's kosher, but my status still says "Confirm Receipt" as well, so I dunno. He's supposed to have shipped by now...It's day 60, by the way, so I think you're good. You could always just ask them, they're super nice over there.

 

I think "Confirm Receipt" is just their way of saying that the order has been paid. I have not ordered anything from them in awhile so don't remember the status messages XD

 

Nyco112524, I think they did say about that at some point when I was making the order. But I always get very nervous (in a good way) when I order dolls, it's a miracle I havent messed up anything major yet. It's good to know your status is the same, now I can relax a bit. I was thinking asking them as well, but thought you guys might respond faster. Oh and lets hope speedy shipping notice for you now!

No update on Griff yet. He was supposed to ship Friday, but his status hasn't changed. I really hope he ships soon. I'm getting a little disappointed hearing he'll ship, then it changes that it'll be a week longer, then he'll ship sooner than expected when he really doesn't. I know I am probably being impatient, but I ordered him 5 months ago today. Granted I had him on layaway for a long time, but I still wish he'd come soon.

 

My Wylie should be home Monday!!!!! I can't wait to get him. My sisters have Angelheim boys and I've always wanted a Kozy since the first time I saw him. The Angelheim boys seem to pose very nicely and are as cute as they come. My sister, VampireSmiley, has a Luka and a Raul (to be shipped soon) and my other sister, OrangeMonkey, has a Ciel. I will finally have an Angelheim boy to! I want to see the difference in skin tone among them and how the new body of my sister's Raul compares to the older Angelheim body.

I hope Griff comes home soon Vamp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

OMG I heard they are planning on re releasing the wolf parts i really want to get Hannibal's hands!!

Wylie came today!!!! He is simply wonderful and even more adorable in person. I love him! His skin tone is a beautiful chocolate tan and he even sits crosslegged with his big raccoon feet. I wasn't expecting them to be as big as they are, but they are so cute. I will get some pictures up soon. I need to do his faceup and I'm waiting on his fur wig and tail.

He came with his original, resin tail, but I commissioned Spite and Malice to make me one His fur wig will be chocolate brown and his tail is striped chocolate brown and caramel blonde. I can't wait to get it!!!! Wylie has such a playful and snuggly personality that a fur tail seemed to suit him more than a resin one.

So Jaki's outfit is done. Now if only he were here to try it on >.> Anyways, I have all of this in a big bag and I call it the "Jaki Welcome Bag", and the outfit, specifically, I've dubbed his "Simmerkane" outfit because of the t-shirt.

Here's the outfit:



Coat, hat, overshirt, undershirt, shorts, socks. Funnily enough, I made everything except the plain white t-shirt XD It's from Nine9style, I just printed a couple of images onto it. I decided that Jaki's going to (almost) be a mini-me. He shares my obsession with music, so he will invariably be acquiring numerous band t-shirts and whatnot, though his color scheme will remain very subdued like this.

Wow, Nyco!! I really hope all of that fits him perfectly! He's a lucky, lucky doll to have so much cool stuff right away when he gets home.

 

LOVE Jaki's outfit Nyco. The whole ensemble is super cute. I do admit I really really like his coat and hat. All the clothes you make for your boys are so well-made and I think Jaki's outfit is my favorite so far. You make me want to sew. The only things I've made so far are 2 msd hoodies and a yo-sd vest and pair of pants. I want to improve and be able to make clothes as cute as you do. Hopefully Jaki will be able to come home soon to enjoy all the things you have made for him.

i am struck down with a horrible cold right now, so hanny is lucky that i am crocheting him a coat. plus he has new shoes and jeans on the way!

I hope you feel better soon. Being sick is no fun at all. Hannibal should be very happy getting a coat though. It's finally starting to feel cooler and he'll be needing it soon. Post pics when you get done and he gets his new stuffs.

 

Thanks, guys ^_^ The whole outfit, if I'd worked on it non-stop from start to finish, took about 28 hours, give or take a couple. Needless to say, I am proud.

my lacerated soul: aww I'm sorry you're sick A friend of mine is in the same boat- she's miserable. Definitely spam the coat when you're finished! I can't crochet or knit a whit, so I love to see what people make for their kiddos ^^

 

thanks everyone!! i a trying to get over it! and i have finally finished his coat and got his clothes, and just encase anyone has been wondering, the Alice's collections pants fit almost perfect! the only complaint i have is they are a bit short, but then again angelheim mini's have long legs (to me).

 

my lacerated soul: that coat looks awesome! I wish I could knit/crochet.... I tried recently to learn but couldn't get a single row done @_@.

I've noticed the same about the legs being long too. Ica has precious few pants that don't look like flood pants on him. Wicked Stitchery msd pants are a pretty good length - and a good price too. :3

 

Noah turned 1 yesterday!! It's hard to believe I've had him a whole year already. In honor of his birthday we watched Red Riding Hood. It has werewolves so I thought it was fitting. lol Happy Birthday Noah!!

As for pants, Ronwe can only wear the knee-length ones, anyway, so I think I lucked out that way. Hooves and all, yanno. XD But luckily for him, he's still my favorite, even though I have three dolls now and a fourth on the way!!

None of us has been getting any news. It's been over three weeks and they haven't replied to anyone's emails. We're getting really antsy, and I really hope we don't have to take drastic measures (paypal disputes, etc.) because I do like this company, and they have been very responsive up until this last month. But it seems they're having some issues keeping their promises...

 

Was there a holiday for them recently or a notice of vacation? I've bought two dolls from them now and did not have any trouble with them.

 

Thanks guys for all the birthday wishes. Noah was my first doll so his birthday was even more special. I have been collecting bjds for over a year now and am not about to stop anytime soon. lol

LuckyXII no news on Griff. I was initially so excited about this boy and now not so much so. I am still excited about having him, but like Nyco I’m getting tired of their lack of communication. I’m really surprised to see this from Angelheim. Normally they are great about everything, but there was no notice of holiday or anything. They just disappeared. If they don’t respond soon I don’t know what I’m going to do.

they did this back when they released raul and issac, i remember people getting very upset over it but i know most dolls arrived in good condition. though it really is silly of them not to answer and be straight up with everyone.

 

Well that's really sad! I hope they ship up for you two very soon. I guess I was lucky in getting my Raul second hand, I didn't have to go through this sort of wait, nor not hearing from them for so long!

 

Still no word from Angelhiem. It's so hard waiting just to HEAR back from them. I put Griff on layaway 5 months and 15days ago. He should have been shipped a long time ago now. UH! I'm sorry if I keep complaining guys. I would just like any sort of response from them.

 

I know, I would KILL for them just to reply, even if it's to say "Hey, we're a bit backed up, but we'll get your stuff out as soon as we can". Seriously, something's better than nothing...

 

they really need to contact you two because what is going on right now is not fair to anyone. i think you two have every right to complain. the only thing i can say is everyone does get their dolls in the end from them, problem is how long?

 

I dont know if this actually matters anything, but my order has changed from Confirm Receipt to Before Shipping. Did this mean they started making my order, after all the weeks I have waited already? Or is the doll ready and theyre maybe packing it or something? >_> At least there is some activity!

 

Nope, that means they've gotten their crap together and are starting to ship our dolls! They said that all of the orders placed in early August will be shipping out tomorrow!! And since I ordered in July, that'd better include my Jaki XD

 

Effing awesome, Nyco! FINALLY! I really hope Jaki will finally come home, like all the other boys too!

My poor boy is still sitting around in the childish clothes he's forced to wear until I can sew him some "manly clothes". He'll have to wait until I finish my items for a swap! Funnily enough, I found two pairs of baby leggins that have the perfect pattern... One if black with white guitars, and one is grey with a sort of graffiti rockstar pattern.

 

No notice yet (I just woke up XD) but you can bet I'll be glued to my inbox today!

 

Same here Nyco. Been stalking his status and my inbox already. I'm getting really excited. Angelheim even gave me the outfit they made in the wrong color for free. They said since it was already made so they'd include it with the rest of his stuff. So he'll even have an extra outfit when he comes!!

I'll be expecting one more this afternoon. I think we're both going to jump for joy the moment we get a shipping notice!! I'm really hoping he'll arrive this week. I have a doll meet next Teusday and really want him to come in time. How long did it take for Roman's head to arrive? I bought Noah from Featherfall so I don't know how long it might take. My sister ordered her Ciel straight from them and it didn't seem to take long at all for him to arrive once he shipped.

 

Roman's head took three days to get to me, EMS is so super quick, I love it.

Speaking of super quick, just checked my tracking, and my boy is in Linthicum Heights, which is only like 20 minutes away from me. I woke up so excited this morning that I went for a run just to expel some of this energy XD

There will be spam later today!! My mom stayed home today, which means I'll have to be sneaky about it (she doesn't like my dolls), but hopefully I won't have to stuff him away until Monday.

 

oh wow awesome~! i can't wait to see him and congratulations to you and hopefully also vampiresmiley!! i remember getting Hannibal i got NO sleep when i found out he was close to home, plus my boyfriend wanted to see me open it and the stupid airforce made him have a super long meeting. so i was stuck with that box in front of me for 3 hours... it was so hard. but anyways i hope everyone has an awesome day!!

Anyways, about the Kyle sculpt: ohmyfaslkjfaldkghjdhal it's adorable. I didn't realize from the promo pics that his mouth was open (or, at least, as open as it is!) and he's got teeth!! Two little teeth, it's SO cute! I'm gonna do a faceup on him and get back with video and pic spam!
