Robin (AoD Xun) and Paul hanging out on their new desk with shirts I made for them this week. :3

    3. Veracosa> Aw, I really like how Nuala's wig looks on her. ^_^ It's styled really neat and I like her pose!

Iron_Dog> Jaiseki's neat! I like -- well, his entire look! XD Is he a demon?

solitary_agent> Aw! I love Robin's shirt! It's the sort of Style I want for Val. O.o Good job with those.

And now... Val waves hello from atop the Colby College mule! :D This was part of a photo shoot that I still have to finish uploading, but I figured I would at least post this image since I've never posted a pic of Val in here. ^_^

    4. I may have just messed up my girl's face. Gr. I was working on enhancing it...giving her her facial tattoo, darkening her makeup, that sort of thing. I wanted to try adding PearlEx powder to her eye makeup, without using gloss to mix it into and applying...so I applied while the MSC was still 'wet', which looks like it might work...but...*sighs* Some fell off the brush onto her cheeks and by her ears. And is stuck in the MSC like the area I was intending to do that to. I'm waiting for the coat to dry now, then I'm going to very very carefully and lightly go over the 'oops' spots with a magic eraser and see if I can't get JUST the extra powder off, maybe just that top layer of MSC, if I have to. I am REALLY happy right now that the default face-up she has under my work doesn't really have a lot of blushing, if I take off too much it might not be visible and be solved by a quick MSC spray without needing to blend the area back in.

    5. Mercedes: Jaiseki is is from my novel Balancing Karma (where you meet him as an infant) and the novella Enchanted Shadows (which is the story of how he meets Sarojin, his lover). He not a demon. He's 1/2 Awh'anise through his father Moswen and 1/4 Vylfian and 1/4 Naemo through his father Kijika. The stripes on his body, he has more you can't see in that shot are sort of inherited from Moswen but unrelated to what Moswen's stripes mark him as. Clear as mud, huh?

This is Moswen (AoD Chi, tan), Kijika (LEDoll/AoD collab Adonis, NY) and Jaiseki (AoD Min, NY)

Both Kijika and Jaiseki have wings but I haven't had the time to finish them. Jaiseki also has twin boys, Vuchel and Vashin (RS Bao in WS & DGS) with Sarojin.

    6. Well, the powder didn't TOTALLY come off, but it came off enough to not be horribly noticeable. The re-paint of her teeth and lips went well, too. Her tats and piercings look good. Her eyelashes were a WITCH to get back in, to the point that I just replaced them (the originals she came to me with are still in great shape, though, and will likely wind up used in another doll at some point) and now...I must say...I ADORE her! So much more than I thought I would! The face can really look decently feminine with the right face-up! I hope to get a photo or two to share tomorrow...but am NOT sure I'll have the time...or the care to, since I should have a new yo-sized girl showing up in the mail tomorrow who will need re-stringing and a good once over one she gets here. ^-^ I am also now sure that Ali will be getting a tat on her back, too...once I decide which tat to use. *has a collection of fake tattoos JUST for use with her dolls, and adds to it whenever the hubby will let her without complaining TOO much about it* It's between a spider, a butterfly, and a dragon. All with a more tribal feel to them. I'm really leaning towards spider...but the only one I have is glow in the dark. Of course...with the story line she's from, I could TOTALLY make that work, too...

      Edit to Add:
OK, here is a mini collage of photos of Ali's enhanced face.

Guess I'm going to either work on art today, or work some more on Ali. The doll I was expecting today (who really SHOULD have been delivered today, from when and where she was shipped) didn't show. She'd better be here tomorrow, or I'm gonna be VERY annoyed with the postal service, and have to ask the seller if she can contact the post office she shipped from to try and track down the package.

    7. Geez, I haven't stopped by in here for a very long time, but I'm certainly seeing a lot of familiar faces from other threads I frequent. I think the reason I quit hanging out in here was that I had a great deal of difficulty getting my very special girl (an AoD Rao, heavily modded by curio shoppe mods) to accept a character and a name that would stick. Nothing seemed to work, but I loved her dearly and adored how special she was, so selling her was absolutley not an option. I just continued to make her clothing and continued to try new eyes and continued to buy her wigs in the vague hope that she'd eventually reveal herself to me...and at long last she has! Turns out I was just trying to make her be too old and sedate, when all she wanted was to be young and free to kick some @$$! So here she is...a different kind of girl who attends Monster High. Her name is Anna M'Tronn.

    8. She's awesome, Poetic! Just like all you other girls. ^-^

    9. Well. I am very frustrated tonight. I worked rather hard on Ali's face-up enhancements, and her piercings. While out at dinner tonight my dad tried to take our puppy out to go potty. He bolted and hid instead, refusing to come back out. In the 30 minutes after he got out into the house (from his 'mommy and daddy aren't home' place in his crate, to keep him out of trouble) he managed to get hold of Ali and knock her to the floor, get her wig and headcap off, and knock off her eyebrow piercing, taking of a small chunk of her face-up in the process. He also tried to eat several wigs. Thankfully, the doll herself is OK, the dog managed to not actually EAT anything he tried to, and the wigs are all fixable with a comb out. The piercing will be a pain to re-do, and I'm hoping that the gloss I use to stick it back on when I make a new one will cover the missing spots in the face-up well enough to not bother me, as I REALLY don't want to re-do the whole thing. I really like it with the base it had underneath that I enhanced.

and Poetic, she's a Bing Sheng. The sculpt normally looks rather masculine, but I rather love the way she turned out after my enhancements! They make her look more female, I think. And thank you for your kind compliment! I also really do just LOVE your girl, too! ^-^
