Hi there. I was wondering if anyone perhaps has a picture of a doll with the Volks wig W-101 One Curl Bob, W-114 Short Fluffy or W-85 Boy's Short ll? I did a few searches but wasn't able to come up with anything. I don't know if it's because the search words are too short or if there really aren't any pictures of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

:EDIT: Also, I'd love to see W-130 - Natural Waffle (Most commonly a Super Dollfie Cute wig) if anyone has a doll with it. :EDIT:

Yes, sadly I have checked there and there is only one picture of the One Bob Curl, which isn't a very good picture, two of the Short Fluffy, which aren't very good either and just a few of the Boy's Short ll.

It's hard to make a decision based on a bad company photo. Specially since company photos differ so much from what they look like not in a special studio after being editted to heck.

W-16N in #60 (Pearl Silver)
Note on this wig: the gold tinsel does not stay in very well. Mine fell out the day after I got this doll, and the hair is crinkly from being wrapped in the tinsel.


W-20N in a color no longer available (and a color I can't remember!)


Same wig as above, but in #100 Pearl White.


MSD Magie's default wig - W-04N in Ivory. This wig is a testament to Volks' incredible wig quality. I've had this wig for 4 years and pulled it in and out of high and low ponytails many times, yet it's still in very good condition. I can't think of many other brands that would put up with that sort of abuse!


MSD Sakura's default wig - W-02N in #2 Natural. I trimmed it obviously (and I did it when I was a newbie so the cut could be better ).

DD Wigs (8-9)


SD13 Cristal's default wig (unique to her). Such an incredible wig I owned two at one point. It's a golden blonde threaded through with subtle pink strands that give it a unique glow. Very difficult to keep unfrizzed, though.


SD10 SwD Tae's default wig (and outfit, FWIW). One of the loveliest wigs I've ever had in my posession.


This is the LE wig that was sold at Dolpa NYC 2. I don't know the style number.


This is a DD-size LE wig from a few years back. I think it's the same as W-120 from the FCS lineup, but it's in a color they don't sell any longer.

SD Wigs (9-10)


W-74 in Gold. It used to be a standard wig but now it's FCS-only.


Kyo-Tenshi Kikyou's wig, original to him.


This is a really old and long-discontinued Volks standard SD-sized wig. I wish they still made this type of gradient fiber! If someone remembers the style and color number I'll add the info. EDIT: It's W-103, thanks Quiet Queen!

Dollfie Plus Wigs (4)


Something a little different - a Dollfie Plus wig! They're perfect for Pukis. This is W-20S in #100 Pearl White. Everyone always laughs that her hair is bigger than her, but isn't it cute this way? XD

 

Tenshi: The gradient SD wig is a W-103 - I can't help you with the colour number, though.

I know these are probably long shot requests, but does anyone have a peach cream wig? I'm looking for a peach or pastel orange wig and the colour looks a lot like what I want, but it seems hardly anyone owns this colour! I'd be espcially interested to see it next to Leeke/Dollga Pink Cocktail... I have a couple of wigs in that colour and I'm definitely looking for something more orangey!

I'm also kind of curious about the gold wigs... in some photos they look very blonde and in others they have a distinct orangey shade. Has the shade changed over time or something, or are certain photos more accurate? And of course more photos of gold wigs would be nice, but at least I can find some of them to begin with!

Ty wears the W-120D, which is an FCS style, but in the limited one-two color combo, Natural / Mixed Orange.



My twins both wear the W-129D-M613/100 Cool Short Shaggy - Pale Ivory.



Andres wears the Ryoya default wig.



Chaz wears the FCS-only W-100 in 350/Wine Brown.



And Sally wears the FCS-only W-94D in 33T/Copper.

 

I love the look of Volks' wigs but there is one thing that keeps bothering me when seeing pictures: On some wigs, especially ones with bangs or parted in the middle, you can clearly see the netting in the front. This is especially true with wigs in lighter colours. Is it that obvious in reality? Because that's the only thing that keeps me from getting a bunch of Volks wigs...

W-145 Medium Bob in Natural. Very soft and sleek, highly recommended.



W-115 Long Shaggy in Natural. Crunchy in front, not recommended.


W-121 Shaggy Curl, in Charcoal Brown, slightly brushed out. Wig lining stains.


Daria default. Pretty blend of brown and red. Not heat resistant. Tends to make little wings on the side that fly away from the front of the face, so not a wig to choose if you want to hide your doll's ears.

 

Can anyone post a color comparison shot of M33/12(Rich brown) and Charcoal Brown?

Does anyone have a photo reference for a wig in the R-12 color?
Any style will do but bonus points for a straight style wig like W-2.
It's a red wig but I'm curious to know if it's a super bright red, orangey red, pinky red or what


Also, contributing one of the newer DD colors, Milky White in the Hime-cut on my SwD Megu
It is a very "just white" neutral white color, there are no undertones of any other color.

 

I was able to get ahold of a few different VOLKS wigs in the different reds and thought I'd post a comparison here for reference.
They're such drastically different colors and all lovely!

From left to right: Red/R-12, Passion Red/T1762 and Mixed Wine/4RD900



-Red/R-12 color is a very very bright, saturated red color. Basically fire engine red, with the slightest tinge of orange, not quite vermilion nor cadmium red but similar. (much brighter than LeekeWorld RealRed, which I previously considered to be super bright but when compared to R-12 looks quite desaturated)
-Passion Red/T1762 is a rich, pure red color. Vibrant but not bright like the R-12 and does not lean neither orange nor pink, sort of like an in-between a fantasy and natural red hair color.
-Mixed Wine/4RD900 has got some strands of black mixed in which leans it heavily towards the darker side of red, it's very much a deep wine red with a very very slight purple tinge.

You can't really see the style of the wig very well in this photo but they are W-02(discontinued FCS), Hime Straight(Dream Choice/DollPoint) and Uchimaki(FCS) respectively. Similar, blunt bang straight wigs.

 

Both are W-55 Boy’s short in 144T Camel (Bangs were trimmed on the right wig)

 

Another W-55 Boy’s short… I can’t tell what color it originally was ^^; I think Ivory?
