The brown one is MSD sized, and the blonde one is SDC sized, not that it makes a difference.

W104-C (same as the N, just Cute size, F-09 has a small head), in natural gold.


The blonde ones above both look like the 613, Ivory, to me. I believe the brown is the 30 brown because I used to have that one.

 

I can hook you up with the gold, I have one. Though oddly I don't seem to have great pics of it o_O;

Someone (who shall remain nameless) has tempted me to order some things from Volks. I was looking at the wigs and am kinda interested in one of the camel colored ones. Does anyone have any pictures they could post of Camel Colored Volks wigs? I'm interested in knowing if they are more of a blonde color or a brownish/red color in person. Thanks =)

 

Am considering buying a Volks W-01, W-02 or W-92 to mod for my boy. It'd be good to see the basic shape from a variety of angles before I settle on the most suitable base, but I can't seem to find any owner pictures. The promotional pictures from Volks aren't that detailed, unfortunately. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm thinking of buying Shina a copper wig (33T), specifically the W-100 one from Volks. So I'd like to see more copper wigs from Volks .

It's beautiful I expect it was more red like Oliver's wig.

what the title says, I'd like to see dolls in the rare Volks hair color '350' which is a reddish brown. If anywone has a W-100 in this color that'd be even better! thank you!

ooooooooooo YAY! I may just have to get one for my cyndy! Might I ask if the ribbons are holding the braids in place or if there is an elastic band underneath?

 

Um, it's hard to tell, the ribbons are hotglued and I don't want to take them off in case they are what's holding them on. I imagine if you wanted to change out the ribbons you could, just tie an elastic band right above the ribbons before attempting to take them off so as not to wreck the braids.

 

You can take off the ribbon, I just tried ^_^ the bow is hotglued to the ribbon I think.

So . . . I'm ordering FCS and want to get a nice Volks wig for Gwena, my Nono. But her head is just huge. And I don't want to waste getting such a nice, expensive Volks wig and not having it fit her. The Volks waffle wig I have fits her ok as a partial cap, but a couple of other off-the-shelf Volks wigs I have don't fit at all!

I'd love to see pics of big-headed dolls in Volks wigs! And by big headed, I don't mean like El or Kurumi . . . I'm taking Nono and Mimi size heads here. I've had an El and trust me, his noggin is nowhere near the size of a Nono noggin.

I'm especially interested in seeing the W-02 (straight long, with bangs) style, though would love to see any Volks wigs you have on larger-headed dolls!

 

I think Pureskin Syo/F-15 has one of the biggest heads Volks has ever made.

My boy's FCS wig is W-11 in natural black



I also had this wig and it fit his big head pretty well, but I sold it before getting a photo

W-02 did not fit my F-15, I just tried it on him right now and could not get the lower elastic over the back of his head at all.

And although it might be obvious since it's a DD wig, W-107D will not fit my F-15 and I had to cut slits in it to fit it on my old F-04.

 

Do you know if 8.5/9.5 luts wigs fit super dollfies? I'm going to purchase an SD nono soon...(YAY!). I saw a wig I really like on the Luts website but I'm not sure it'll fit. I don't have a Super Dollfie or any Luts dolls I have a Dollfie Dream and I know that their heads are smaller than other doll heads.

 

Some fit, some don't. It really depends on how they did the elastic in the cap, and the style as some have bangs that look odd on big heads. In general Luts wigs are better for Delfs or DD size heads :\

But I believe most Leeke World wigs should fit bigger heads like Nono, I've yet to get one that didn't fit my F-15. So maybe try looking for a wig there

 

This is a long straight Volks wig with bangs (I don't remember the model).
It fits ok, but it can slip off. That is why I have the hat on. It is wide enough, but it is not elastic enough to fit snug, it just kinda slips off. I think if you use velcro or wig tape it should work good.

 

W-27, W-55, W-98, & W-115 all fit my Syo, Kun, and Chris and they all have big ol' melon heads.

 

From personal experience, I have F-28, F-29 and F-09 who are all fatheads *cough* and W-11, W-18, W-27, W-55, W-85, W-86 and W-98 all fit fine.
In addition, I have coaxed my F-28 into the DD W-104.. it's a tight fit, but it worked.
Seph's big-headed Kun (I ordered him for her) also fit our W-27 fine and she verified that he could fit the DD W-104.
F-20 also fits W-98 from experience. (And that is one big noggin!)
F-16 fits W-92, W-98 and DD W-104 from experience. (though it is smaller than F-28.)

Almost all LeeKe wigs also fit my fatheads. Except for that two-tone one with all the gel in it that spiked upwards.. I spent 10 minutes fighting with fathead F-28 and finally swore my foul mouth off at him and put it on flatmate's dreaming El instead. :P

I've not had a lot of Luts wigs, so can't speak in general, but this one for example works great:

Volks wigs have weird fit sometimes, it seems! There are some that can fit on small or big heads, but they only fit big headed dolls as partial caps. Looks like the W-2 fits like the W-8 I have, which fits my Kurumi perfectly but can only fit my Nono as a partial cap. So sadly, I can't always tell by looking at the models of the wigs if if they fit the head all the way or not. Though maybe it is the older wig styles that have partial caps? I remember my oldskin Rio's default wig was a partial cap. The ones that fit big heads though are mostly bang-less or boy cuts so far, and my girly Nono MUST have bangs, lol. I think I may just go with a Leeke wig, or let her keep the size 8-9 stretch cap Monique wig that's been her default the last four years.

I'm tempted to gamble and try the W-14, it seems to have a generous fit, IF the pics are a good indication. >.< I wonder if I asked Volks, if they would answer?

 

I have a W-14 on a F-01 it fits very well ^_^


also isnt the W-02 just longer then the W-01? *has the W-01* My Megu has the W-01 and it fits perfectly on her.

 

The W-14 is FCS only so in honesty, I would advise you to give it a shot because if you decided later that you wanted it, it would be much harder to get without ordering another FCS. If you find it doesn't fit, you ought to be able to sell it without too much trouble, given the FCS-only status.

I have a friend who has a Kun (= fathead ) and she has no problems fitting the W-14 on her. So I think you have a good chance of it working.

I'm not sure if you just want ivory and gold wigs or overall "gold" color,
so I post a Cream one (W-117D-16T/ Long natural wave Cream)


with Volks' lighter wig, I think you need to be careful about the line where hair separated.
sometimes it is easy to see the wig cap under the hair (and it does happen to the wig in photo)
