The wig is a bit thinner, doesn't look as full and fluffy as in the pictures (wigcap showing etc) and the shoes are a straight up knockoff (details are different from the picture) but overall, for the price its fine

* How was the communication? So easy and they're so fast to respond to emails! I emailed them with a question, and I had a response within the day.

* How easy was it to pay? Again, so easy through PayPal! I felt confident that my information was secure and safe.

* How long did it take to ship? I think it was about 4 days to ship? They emailed me a tracking number and put the number on my account right away so I was able to watch the journey from China to me! It even shipped sooner than I expected because I didn't think it was going to arrive before November!

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes, for certain! The box arrived sealed up with plenty of tape and so the box on the inside arrived with minimal damage. My doll inside arrived pristine! I will say I got him during a sale, so I think I got a great deal!

* Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yes, he definitely looks like the pictures. It is kind of funny to see him without eyes or hair or a faceup, though!

Excellent, they informed me right away about items that were no longer in stock and refunded me immediately. Their communication was always prompt and very helpful and friendly.

About five months from the first payment.

Yes AOD dolls are lovely. The clothing quality was okay.

Fine! There wasn't much need for it but I was notified when it shipped and what the tracking number was.

* How easy was it to pay?

Paypal makes it super easy.

* How long did it take to ship?

It took a while for it to actually be shipped (from 10/5 - 10/13) but it was quick to arrive from China in about six days. I did, however, choose the DHL option.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

For the eyes, glasses, and shoes, I'd say so. The pillow was kind of an impulse buy. It's alright, I guess.

Exactly.

* Were you satisfied with the product?

Yes! The eyes are random but are always of good quality. I was pleasantly surprised with the glasses being made of metal, and the shoes seemed sturdy enough. The pillow is "eh" but it's not a big deal.

Yes! I would 100% order from them again. They have never done me wrong.

Very good - they updated the orders on their website when the payment processed, and when it was shipped. I also got emails with the tracking numbers.
For one order, one of the items I ordered had been sold out, but they emailed me and offered a substitution or refund. That was within a few days, so that was very fast communication, which I greatly appreciated.

* How easy was it to pay?
Paypal~

* How long did it take to ship?
Quite a while for some.
Order 1 included hands from Dream Valley; that one shipped five months later.
Order 2 was elastics, s-hooks, and eyelashes, and shipped via airmail four days later, but didn't arrive until well after a month.
Order 3 included some pre-order outfits, and shipped two months later.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes

Absolutely! They are one of my go-to dealers for pretty much everything - I have never has any issues with them, and my orders have always been correct, with no damages.

* When did you order?
August 11, 2021 with a six month layaway.

* How was the communication?
Great. Communication is always very fast and friendly. Alice answered all of my questions regarding doing a layaway, if it was possible to get Long Qingzhi with the special head instead of the regular head, and fixed the invoice when they put three months instead of six for the layaway.

* How easy was it to pay?
Very easy, via PayPal. A link to pay by was included with the invoice.

* How long did it take to ship?
I paid the layaway off early on November 18th and got a tracking number on the 22nd. Though, FedEx didn’t pick up the packages until December 2nd, due to a backlog. They arrived on December 6th.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Both Long Qingzhi did. The ALM Cocoa’s faceup was very heavily blushed, compared to the photos, and one of the shirts (ADSB161) was a lot more orange than pictured.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Yes with the Long Qingzhi (though one’s box was coming apart, but it can be fixed) and the clothes (despite being more orange, that shirt is still very cute and it was only $1 due to an event). Mixed on the Cocoa, due to the heavy blushing.

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
I didn’t bring any of it up. The shirt color could just be due to monitor differences, the box can be repaired, and the faceup was free.

* How was the communication?
Fine. Not much communication was really needed, just the usual "here is your order info" type emails and such.

* How easy was it to pay?
Quick and simple; paid through PayPal with no issues.

* How long did it take to ship?
The shipment notice was relatively fast in my opinion, but the actual delivery was around one and a half to two months after. Considering current world events and issues with shipping times, I didn't find this all that unreasonable.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes, actually I feel the quality is quite high for something that only cost $30. I've seen wigs of similar quality be priced much higher, so I was surprised. It's very soft and feels and looks very nice.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
The design, colour, and shape were exactly the same, but the general length was longer for some reason. This wasn't an issue for me since I had originally wanted a longer wig and this coincidence was useful in that sense, but if I was specifically looking for a shorter length I might have been a bit miffed. I assume most people would simply trim the wig themselves, however.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Yes, I was very satisfied. The product was surprisingly above my initial expectations.

* Would you order from this company again?
Most likely, yes. The selection is quite wide and my first impression with them has been beyond favourable, so I'm eager to buy more when I have the chance.

For things like clothes and shoes, yes, especially if it's something no longer sold. Their selection of clothing makers is very nice.

The stockings and socks aren't as white as the sales pictures but that's not a big deal to me. They're more of a cream color than a pure white, if that makes sense.

Yes! Everything fits well on my Volks Minis. The only thing is that the 1/4 shoes won't buckle while my doll is wearing socks but I'm okay with that.

This was my first order with AC!

Very good, I always get nervous when contacting any company because of anxiety but every time I did Alice was very quick to respond and super kind and accommodating for any issues.
* How easy was it to pay?
Easy, it was done through PayPal.
* How long did it take to ship?
Well… a lot longer than the 20 days for non-doll items, lol. However it was not their fault at all, as right as my order was waiting on only one item to be made the Shanghai lockdown started. So it ended up being closer to 45 days to be sent, as even after the lockdown was lifted they were super backed up with orders to send. Alice was very transparent with the whole thing and still somehow responded to messages quickly despite what I assume was a massive workload. I ended up finally receiving my order in the mail on May 24th, almost exactly 3 months later.

Yes!

Yes, though the eyes I got were a little less saturated in color in person, not to an extreme degree though.

I've ordered from AC several times before, but I had such a great experience this time around that I wanted to leave a review!

* What did you order?
DikaDoll Mudan in pink skin (blank, no fullset), Doll Family H Aran in pink skin (blank, no fullset), other clothing & wigs. Later that month I placed another order for Doll Family H 1/5 scale body.

* When did you order?
January 11th, 2022 for the first order, January 31st for the second order.

* How was the communication?
Right off the bat, when I placed the order for the 1/5 scale body I accidentally ordered it in the wrong skintone (I selected pink when I wanted tan) I contacted the AC email right after I noticed (which was about a day after I made the order) and they got back to me within less than 24 hours and sent an invoice for the difference, since tan skin was about $40 more.

When my first order arrived, the Doll Family H Aran arrived with a broken pinky finger. I took pictures right away, and emailed AC customer service with the pictures. Again, they responded within less than 24 hours, and said they were going to contact Doll Family H for a replacement hand. A couple days later I got an email from AC informing me that Doll Family H was making a new hand and they were going to send it to me ASAP, free of charge.

* How easy was it to pay?
Easy as always, I paid through paypal.

* How long did it take to ship?
I know that their non doll orders take about a month from order to arrival in the US, and that Dikadoll has a much shorter average wait time than Doll Family H. I also knew that everything would be packed together & sent at the same time, so there were no surprises there. It took about 130 days for the order to arrive, including the week it was in transit.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?/Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Absolutely. If I had bought the dolls from their respective companies separately, I probably would have paid more money for shipping. While a lot of similar clothing items/wigs can be found on other sites for less, I know that buying them from AC is a promise that I will not just receive the item in the first place, but get something that looks like how its shown in pictures. I've never been disappointed or surprised by the items I receive.

Yep!

* Would you order from this company again?
I've been ordering from them for years, and I will continue to do so. Especially in a hobby where some customer service/satisfaction seems to be becoming questionable or even falling to the wayside, it's incredibly valuable that Alice's Collections prioritizes fostering good relationships with their customers- even overseas ones as far away as the US.

Completely fine! I even forgot my login and they were so nice to help me fix that. Turns out I mistyped my email address when I registered.

It was shipped on May 2nd. About 2 months. This was also during the time they have the covid lockdowns. I remember checking their news updates. They were shut down for about 2 weeks.

Yes. It was either with them or a proxy service. Their prices were fair and also there was a promo at the time for DF-A.

* If there were any problems with your order, how did the company handle them? A wig I ordered ended up being out of stock. They contacted me on June 7 via email to let me know it was out of stock and wouldn't be available again, and asked if I'd like to purchase something else instead. I told them that I didn't, and they refunded me immediately.
* Would you order from this company again? Definitely! I've ordered from them in the past -- this was the first time I'd had any kind of problems, but I was satisfied with how it was handled.

 

* What did you order? Probably safer to ask what I haven't ordered from them - but this review is for multiple items of clothing in MSD and SD sizes.

When I received my order, I was immediately hit with the smell I was sure was MSC (Mr Super Clear). I promptly emailed them because I am NOT buying clothes from anyone who's spraying sealant around unprotected workers. As I told the dealer - ain't nobody dying for my dolls. The dealer replied the same day (like I said - I don't think they sleep) and assured me that the smell was from the dye in the clothing - no one is spraying sealant around unprotected people. Any time the manufacturers use potentially hazardous materials, I was assured that appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) was provided to employees.
* Would you order from this company again? Ah ha ha ha ha. I'm on just about every waitlist for every company ACBJD represents. Oh yes - I order from them a LOT.

Oh - before I forget: because ACBJD offers free shipping, I tell them with every order to hold my orders and combine as many of them as possible to save on shipping. So yes, my January order was probably available a lot sooner than August, but I don't see the point in them spending extra money to ship my stuff separately. It's not like my dolls are going to up and walk away. So please don't think that my wait time is normal - it is per my request.

Communication was great! I wasn't sure whether or not my order qualified for free shipping because the wording was confusing, but the representative at Alice's Collections let me know the shipping cost and even gave me a discount even though it was my mistake. I was notified when the payment was successful and when my order was shipped, as Souldoll ships dolls directly to the customer and not to the dealer.

Super easy; I made payment through PayPal.

My order shipped August 19, 2022, so it took roughly 23 weeks to ship. It was significantly longer than the stated wait time, but that was expected and I didn't mind at all.

Nope! Everything arrived safe and sound, and I even got a few extras from Souldoll that I wasn't expecting.

Excellent, I always got a helpful response quickly. I had initially placed the order for a different body version, but then the next day changed my mind, so I emailed Alice about it (I think the feet or hands also had to be changed for the correct body type) and she updated the order with no issues. [Though I think changing my mind within 24hrs made that the most feasible, haha.] I also asked if she could check on the order status with MYou in October since it had been a longer wait than other people were having with the company and she got in contact with them and responded to me quickly.

Very, through Paypal on the site.

* How long did it take to ship?
Around 4.5 months - shipped on November 8.

Yes absolutely! MYou was having a promotion so the doll, makeup, hands, feet, and extras all came out under $300. And I would have paid more, the doll is fabulous quality.

They are a little too long in the sole, but fit well in the calf, though. That's on me for not really paying much attention to the measurements given for both the doll and the boots.

Very good! I noticed a week after ordering that I ordered wig WMS012 in the wrong size. I emailed her and she changed the size. Later that day, she emailed back saying she found out the size and color I wanted were no longer being produced. I was able to change to a different item, so I swapped to the same wig in blonde in the correct size.

Easy. She DOES charge Paypal fees, but I decided to order anyway because joint pads/KIPS are weirdly expensive elsewhere.

For all but one wig. Msire wigs have nice fibers though, even in blonde and white. They are not super shiny and are soft. Both wigs I purchased have light colored wig caps, for anyone curious.

Rubber joint pads did not have the centers cut out. She did include 2 extras for a total of 12.
WMS033 White looks as advertised.
The back of Msire wig WMS012 Blond looks like it was styled by a 5 year old with scissors. If you are looking for a beautifully styled pre-cut wig, LOOK FURTHER.

The joint pads were not a big issue. I decided to try styling the back of the badly cut wig myself and am okay with it now.

How easy was it to pay? Very easy with paypal. I initially started a layaway, but paid it off in the beginning of January, partially so that AC wouldn't get as many paypal fees from me making smaller payments spread out and partially because I got holiday money for it .
How long did it take to ship? She shipped April 8, but because it was a head not a full doll didn't qualify for the free express shipping. ACBJD gave me some options to choose from when I started my order and I chose Airmail because it was cheaper, and she arrived to me April 26. I wasn't expecting her to ship at all until the middle or end of May based on the times that seemed to be common in the waiting room, so getting the shipping notice was a surprise!

Black STMU020 stockings have a lining, which is nice.
The sweater's fit is a bit loose on the shoulders. I should've guessed because the model used was a Dollfie Dream, but the listing said 1/3 SD, so it's on me. It still looks OK, but it fits differently, like a shoulderless sweater. It would probably look nicer on a doll with a bigger bust.
While I was taking clothes on and off to test the fit I got an instant stain/scuff with a pair of M3 Studio pants, ironically not from the black denim but the bronze-colored snap which was rubbing color off like crazy. Fortunately the mark came off the doll with a damp microfiber cloth, I didn't have to use a magic eraser. I rubbed the back of the snap with alcohol to get rid of as much color as possible and then stuck a square of medical fabric tape over it. I'll definitely use underwear with these pants. On the plus side, they have working pockets. Cute!​

Mostly great. Clear, prompt and straightforward. However, there was an issue at the time of ordering and AC didn't inform me until after I'd received the doll and emailed them to ask about it.

Very easy. I was given a Paypal link in the invoice to make my layaway payments. They just wanted me to email them with a heads up when I made a payment.

Very quickly once production was done.

No. AC didn't let me know the doll's fullset was sold out so they ordered it piecemeal from Loongsoul, but the wig and eyes were apparently sold out at the time. My doll came with a poor quality unstyled wig, no eyes, and unpierced ears (although earrings were included) because of that. I didn't know about this until I emailed them after receiving the doll, asking about the missing eyes.

No. Pieces were missing from the FS.

No, for the reason stated above. I paid for a fullset and didn't receive one.

They offered me a pair of their $9.90 in-stock eyes (AC's stock eyes, not Loongsoul eyes) and said there was no resolution for the wig. Regarding the piercing issue, they told me to cut the hooks off his earrings and glue them to his ears. I ended up buying eyes and a wig elsewhere, and pierced his ears myself.

Maybe just for the stands. I'd rather just get dolls/clothes/wigs from the original source next time.

My experience was unpleasant, but it is in no way Alice's fault: I doubt I would even have the doll if Alice hadn't repeatedly checked in with Dollzone and held them to their estimated time frames.
I would recommend Alice as a dealer, particularly for dollmakers with known prolonged production times or lapses in communication: it's easier to have a dealer able to communicate with the dollmaker in their native language than to try and get your order out with no support
