An assortment of clothing, eyes, wigs and shoes (I hosted a Group Order on another forum).

* How was the communication?
I can't say enough good things about their excellent communication. It is better than I have ever experienced with any other BJD website. Alice kept in constant communication with me by email. I had lots of questions, and email responses were always very speedy (sometimes within a few minutes!). There does not seem to be any language barrier at all.

* How easy was it to pay?
Very easy. I was instantly redirected to Paypal upon order completion. This actually took me by surprise, since most BJD websites do not require immediate payment. Because I was hosting a Group Order, I did not yet have the ability to make full payment, as I'd not yet collected the money from the order participants. However, I contacted Alice by email, and I was assured that the items in my cart would remain there until the order was paid. This made placing the order VERY easy.

One thing to note is that Alice's Collections charges a 3.9% Paypal Fee on all purchases. I have never encountered this on another BJD shopping site. I didn't see this fee disclosed anywhere on the website before attempting to complete the purchase. It made things a tad bit tricky for me, since this was a Group Order, but although I'm generally against sellers charging Paypal fees, I find it to be well worth it in this instance.

* How long did it take to ship?
A little under a month. I was given an estimate of 15 business days before shipping, but it was delayed by a few days due to one of the items going out of stock, although I was immediately notified of this, and given the option to change to a different material. (It was actually a pair of shoes, and the fabric for making them was no longer available, so they asked to substitute a similar material, then custom-made the shoes to order! Wow!)

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Absolutely. In fact, the quality far exceeds the price on all items, in my opinion! I just can't even believe how well-made and lovely a $10 dress can be! Their prices vs. quality are the most reasonable I've ever encountered in this hobby.

Another thing worth mentioning is that Alice's Collections will actually take custom orders for clothing, at no additional cost. I had three dresses made-to-order to my specifications (they were styles available on the website, which I wanted in different colors). I am absolutely amazed that they were not only willing and able to take on these special requests, but that the items were manufactured so quickly and beautifully!

Even better! As another person in this thread mentions, the photography on the site is not always very flattering to the items--they are fantastic in person!

Beyond satisfied--with the products, the service, the overall experience.

Absolutely! Though I wish I would have waited till October for the boot sale ^^;

Better! I always expect some difference due to company fixing up the photos, but all the items were perfect.

Fantastic! I ordered during their sale event period and would have gotten free airmail shipping, but I wanted EMS and emailed them. They were really nice and directed me to paypal them the EMS shipping cost and even notified me when they received it!

* How was the communication?
I think it was fantastic, they're quick, responding in minutes. Through every step and process, they let me know what was going on and as stated above, English was not a problem, they were obviously fluent in it. I wanted three MSD dresses, accidentally ordered one SD size, e-mailed them and they instantly corrected it. They gave me an order number like they said they would, even answered my questions about the posting status, no matter how dumb the question was.

* How easy was it to pay?
Pretty easy, pay pal.

* How long did it take to ship?
In retrospect, the shipping itself was a week. However, it took an additional three weeks for my girl's clothes to be made. So please keep in mind when you DO order, they make the clothing right after you order. So about a month, like they warned; don't say they didn't warn you.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
The quality goes above and beyond what they price, it really does. They're great clothes for how much they cost and the pictures on the web certainly do not do justice.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Guys, the pictures are complete crap to the actual product, not going to lie. What you see is going to be completely ten times better than what's picture.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Absolutely, it was well worth the time to wait and the money I paid for!

Like I said, I made a mistake in my order, e-mailed them and got a response in minutes.

Communication was great! There were some hiccups(nothing big, mostly user error) that were handled promptly and professionally.

I got lucky and got the outfit on sale for $10. The quality is so amazing, I would have no problem paying full price for my next order.

Better, actually! The shoes were ordered in all white but there was a problem. I was asked if black soles would be okay and I'm glad I said yes. They are so perfect! The picture of the dress doesn't do it justice either. It's fantastic!

Since i ordered jointed-hands with my order, they told me it would take 3-4 weeks before shipping. But SURPRISED! They finished and sent it on Dec.27 (less than 3 weeks), and it arrived 2 days later on Dec.29!!! (I got free shipping from free shipping event)

They sell good quality products with cheap prices! I love all of them.

Great! Alice emailed me each time there was an update, including to inform me about the shipping cost (which wasn't much, but the site processed it as free shipping which was an oops ). She was so kind.

Quite.

Not long, I was surprised! It was in transit for a few weeks, but... if I'm reading my email right, it shipped in TWO DAYS! :3

Worth way way more. I almost feel guilty for getting such a good price because of the holiday sale. I could have easily paid more for how nice this is. It's adorable, neatly sewn, real buttons and all.

Yes! Except even cuter, it was too perfect for my girl.

A pair of trousers, stockings and a jacket, but it turned out the jacket was not available in 1/4 size so I changed it to a trousers/vest combo.

Terrific. They let me know immediately about the mistake on the jacket listing and offered to let me get another item or get a refund for the full value of it. I changed the item and got a partial refund.

* How easy was it to pay?
Very easy with Paypal.

* How long did it take to ship?
About two weeks for them to send it out, but considering it was around the holidays I didn't think it was bad, plus they kept me updated on the status and gave me the tracking number once it shipped. I got it about ten days later.

Absolutely, they could charge much more. The stuff is about half the price of many of the doll companies' items and just as nicely made.

Super. Alice let me know when it was shipped, and kept me updated with the status during processing. They are very personable.

There was a three week processing time, which is typical of companies like this. I don't count that as shipping time. However, though Alice quoted that Air Mail can take anywhere from 1-3 months, my order arrived in just three weeks! So super fast.

Absolutely. I got my items while they were on sale, and they were even better in person then I thought they would be!

Great! Alice answered my questions within a day of emailing her and she was very polite and clear.

* How easy was it to pay?
Very. As soon as I completed the checkout I was redirected to paypals website.

* How long did it take to ship?
Roughly 4 weeks. It was sent out on the 9th of March. The shipping was free and sent via DHL which was incredibly fast! Very impressed

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes. The suit had a few loose threads and the fabric was a little low quality but considering the price I paid it doesn't matter. The High temperature wigs (HT line) are beautifully soft and silky and the KK wig is soft and shiny. The fur wig was nice but not the nicest I've seen (again it was cheap so that's ok ) The glass eyes were stunning and the little SD sunglasses came in their own zip up case with a nice cleaning cloth.

It was okay. I got my first message from them on January 28, letting me know that my order was still being worked on, but the workers were going on vacation and would be back again on the 12th. I got another message February 16, letting me know one pair of shoes would not be done for a long time, and she asked what I wanted to do. And then I received another message on the 24th that my package was finally shipped.

Very easy, I paid through Paypal.

Yes, I got some very nice things for the price.

* How long did it take to ship? Order shipped three days ago via EMS (free shipping!) and arrived today (March 12, 2011) - please note that the MAKE CLOTHING TO ORDER so it will be about a month once you place your order - be aware and be patient. It is SO worth the wait!

Great! I mailed Alice a LOT, and the responses were always timely and very accommodating. I realized I ordered the wrong size of boots at one point and was able to get that fixed via email, thanks so much.

Over two months. This would be my sole 'gripe' (also, the Lunar New Year made it take longer)... I was told that they were short on staff after the holiday and the boots in 1/4 size would take extra time to make (though 1/3 size would be ready sooner, but I had changed to 1/4, so I chose to keep the change and wait). I emailed later for an update and was told 10 more days were needed. Eventually everything was sent out and arrived safely.

Yes. Everything looks better than I expected, somehow. ^^

I would. I'm happy with the quality and the service was great- the email replies I was very happy with. I think I just got unlucky with timing, and this appears to be an isolated incident. I can understand that things happen, and when a company is honest and responsive like this it makes up for it.

* How was the communication?
-- The communication is very good. AC replied extremely fast, sometimes the same day even and were always very polite and pleasant. A member of my GO ordered a coat that AC had run out if the fabric for and they immediately let me know I could either chose to have them use a different fabric or pick something else to buy - very nice of them! However, my confirmation said orders, unless they contain dolls, usually ship out in 15 days. I got an email on 1/28 saying that some shoes weren't done and the order would have to be finished after the holiday (which is understandable since it was a big order). They returned to work around 2/12 and I emailed them again on 2/17 after not hearing an update. I was told about 10 more days were needed to finish the order. I had to email them again 15 days (not counting weekends) later because I had heard nothing. Our order was finally shipped out 3/11 and I got it about a week or so later.

Communication with Alice has always been great. Whenever I send an email I get a reply quickly. ^^

A few weeks, then the EMS shipment arrived pretty quickly. There were no delays this time- sometimes there have been small ones in the past, but I am always notified if there's a delay via email, and that's great I think, and makes it all okay. ^^

AC has some of the best prices I've seen, and the goods I've received have always been quality. ^^

Everything but the boys' dress shoes I ordered. The description clearly stated that they came in 1/4, 1/3 and 70cm sizes and gave measurements for each size. I ordered 1/3 and got 70cm.

They sent a kind of nasty note telling me that the shoes only come in 70cm size and suggesting that I "try reading the decription before I place orders"

It shipped on October 5, but the tracking number didn't work. Finally arrived last week.

Definitely. The price for each individual item was only slightly more than dollmore, and the clothes were sewn beautifully. I was surprised by the quality. Most things fit my MNFs great (two shirts were too big and bulky; all short-sleeved shirts fit perfect). They did not fit my JID. (Just for info purposes; also, I did not ask for custom sizing.)

Better, because their sales pictures aren't very good for the most part, and most of their models are SDs. The green shorts-jumper was not at all like the sales pics. Very thick, bulky, and looks silly on the dolls.

A while. I believe the website said, "15 days" for production, but it took about a month or so? It took three weeks to get to me via airmail.

The quality is excellent. The dress is amazing. Beautifully sewn with no problems whatsoever.
