[Adopted] Loongsoul 1/3 doll discussion Part 2

I'm considering a Loongsoul Hybrid too. I love their b-g 58-02 body and think it might work. I have a current 2015 DZ normal pink dolls and am wondering how good the Loongsoul NP matches DZ normal pink.

Could anyone also tell me how Loongsoul Normal pink matches Volks NS?

I wasn't sure I'd like Ivan in person... in some images I thought he was gorgeous and in some shots I thought he looked off-puttingly smug or weird.

But I love my Ivan! And I only like him more the longer I have him around. Handsome guy.

I just wanted to chime in and say...whatever kind of enviromental resin LS uses - it has yellowed at a slower rate for me personally then Soom regular resin...as well as maskcat doll regular resin. I do not think it is the same thing as "french" resin that was very translucent and almost waxy. Honestly I even had parts of him in different rooms for almost a whole summer and his parts still matched flawlessly. The only time I noticed a touch of shine was when I had been handling him a lot and was unsealed.

I have written loongsoul and a few of their dealers - I would really like to buy a doll on their new sd version, but the only head is the sleeping head mia, I believe. I suspect antje can fit that same body...but was curious if any others can. Any one else speak to Loongsoul about this or have interest in that new sd body? Or know what companies might fit their white skin?

 

I really appreciate you saying this! I've been worried about the life span of my new Kylin boy when he comes in since he's already a favorite. So I just wanted to say thank you! This put some worried to bed.

 

I have a question please!

I've already purchased my first loongsoul, an Aoyue and I ordered him in normal pink but I'm feeling maybe I should have ordered him in tan. I get a lot of variation when I search loongsoul normal pink and tan so I'd like to see some photos of what their resin in those colors look like now. Bonus points if you can show me normal pink next to LS tan! I would really appreciate this! It's a matter of whether or not I need to quickly buy another Aoyue xD

GongGong is very long! When he stands on a pedestal - its height is 83 cm, full length - 175 cm.

Where can I find an accurate show of Loongsoul's resin colors? I ordered my Aoyue in normal pink and I'm starting to think that that was the wrong color because I don't want my tough man to be bubblegum colored! But I didn't like the normal yellow either. The model was listed as being tan but none of the resin displays that I've seen for their tan look anywhere near that color. Can I see your dolls and tell me which resin they're in? I might have to quickly sell this incoming boy and get another if the pink is gross...

Here's my Loongsoul Ivan in Normal Pink compared to Dollshe Aramis in Fresh skin, both unblushed.

Ivan's definitely pink compared to the Dollshe, but Loongsoul Normal Pink is very light and to me it seems right for the color of rosy pale skin. I think my Ivan is French resin, but I bought him secondhand and the previous owner didn't specify, so I'm not sure. I believe he's from early 2014 so the color probably hasn't changed much since he was made.

 

Thank you for the comparison. I have a Dollstown in fresh skin so it helps give me an idea of what the resin looks like. I really like the Loongsoul body since I'm partial to mobility thighs and double joints. I recently was shown a comparison of Loongsoul normal yellow to Volks Normal resin. It looked like it was a pretty good match, right?
