    3. @ResinRapture lovely outfit!! I love his glasses!! :O

@hoe-nir that is a lovely hybrid, and she is so pretty!!!

    4. Woooooa its been 7 some-what years since I posted in this thread. Nice to see familiar faces and new ones too. Been on a long hiatus from the hobby. Hopefully now my "I" got a new makeover and given her a new name; I will post more of her.
This is Chloe my old school "I"

    5. Hello! I'm a bit of a lurker here on this thread. I only got into JIDs earlier this year when I bought one off a friend.

    6. I have finally orded my JID Edwin :dance:D

    7. Hey guys, I kind of fell off the face off the earth again. I'm sorry. I can't even remember if I posted pictures of my Tania now that she is finished. As soon as I figure out how flickr works I will share her again if I already did. (Photobucket has decided after I have used it for 8 years to start charging for posting pictures to 3rd party sites and frankly if I had $400 to drop I'd buy a new doll :?)

Huh-zah, I figured it out. But that is so much more complicated then photobucket. Holy crap. So yeah. Here's Calanthe, my Tania head on a Resinsoul body. Her faceup, tattoos, body blushing, and amazing resin matching was all done by the talented @ShadowedForce

I realized Alex is about to be 3. :aeyepop: He is long over due for a new photo shoot. So y'all will get new pictures of my first JID soon.

    8. lol she looks great and really flickr just takes getting used to. the buck made you resize everything yourself... flickr does it for you! As long as you use pc version it's easy.

    9. It would be much cheaper to get your own web hotel. I think they are committing suicide. But oh well . .

      Your Tania is adorable

    10. Yeah I was apparently doing it the hard way and a friend showed me the easy way to do it. Now just to transfer 8 years worth of photos *_*. Maybe I will only go back 4 or 5 years lol. The early photos are horrible anyways. :doh.

Right? Like it's $400 a year but still uh no thanks. Calanthe says thanks for the compliment though. :thumbup

    11. dl from the bucket in folder batches... you will end up with them saved to your pc in zip files but when you get them on your pc you can upload in batches too... select one item or 50 ... you can upload as many as you want but if you start with smaller bunches you can tag them and organize as you go.

    12. so only a single strand from each side up to the top? .... done like a w but the outside lines up to the top... lol i'm gonna need the name of your person when i get my Sierra finally ... send all 3 in one go LOL

    13. Skuld (my I) wanted to show off her new top. The leggins she has had for a while but haven't used them before.

    14. My face up artist, Charie Wilson Grenier, drills them out for me when she paints them. I'm lucky she lives not far - two towns over - so I can deliver and pick up my dolls in person. No expensive mailing.

    15. im good if it's in CANADA lol... Normally i get faces from iple ... not sure what i am gonna do with my Kyle blanks lol... but my girls need drill'in and when i get all 3 home... off the bodies go!

    16. I am seriously considering getting Fedora drilled. She is my only doll strung this wonky way of Iplehouse and her posing drives me crazy. It's one of the reasons I made Calanthe a Hybrid. I got her head during a head event and was debating getting her an iplehouse body but I didn't want to deal with it on a 2nd doll and luckily my faceup artist was able to get her to match her body.

    17. Hi everyone!
I have a JID Amy, her name is Lily, and I'm crazy with her legs!
OMG I need drill my doll! :aeyepop:
I can't wait for ir! The JID body is a nightmare for me, but I love the proportions and sculpture, so this is a solution! :XD:

    18. Just make sure if you send the bodies, for BOTH of you to mark the package as "Going for REPAIRS" so you don't get hit with taxes because they think you are buying the dolls. Although maybe they won't since you aren't in Ontario. But better safe than trying to get your money back after the fact.

    19. oh wow .. thanks for the tip O_o never would have thought.. I wonder if that would work for stuff crossing the US/Can. line... repairs or 'replacement' depending on item... hmmm need to check that. I'm going to have to order wigs soon since i didn't find what i wanted locally.

    20. It should work for International shipping too. Many years ago I did costumes for the Franklin Mint, and things were constantly being shipped back and forth, and everything had to be marked "Being Returned" so I wouldn't get charged duties for "buying" the same thing over and over. And if they do charge you, you can claim it back, although it is a lengthy process.

    21. Sierra is my latest new JID arrival.
Here's a picture of her sitting with Eolyne (BID Bono)

    22. Hmm, I drilled my Violet's torso, so I had her a part for something else. I've had no time to play with her since, but so far I am quite pleased. At the very least, she sits without being frighteningly tightly strung. It was pretty easy, too.

    23. This whole drilling thing is brilliant. I may need to do this with my girls.

    24. Introducing Steve, my second Owen. I finally made him a wig....

    25. @MB Lilac - Congratulations on your lovely boy! His wig is fab too!!!

    26. I love him!! He looks great and that wig is amazing. Congratulations.:love

    27. MB Lilac he looks wonderful. <3

I hope none of my girls saw him or they'd all demand I get someone like him for each of them. And since I have 19 girls without boyfriends that would be very difficult and extreemly expensive. :horror:

      Dustbunnie

    28. @luluna - Thanks! I really don't like making wigs, but I think it looks okay for now. I know what I want, but making it is another thing entirely. Personally, I think he has a rather 'period' feel, and would look great as some Fantasy figure. I did make a second wig cap for a longer hairdo.

      @oriscany - Thanks!

@Dustbunnie - Thanks! I can sympathize with all your single girls. I have quite a few single girls as well - not as many as you - and I would love for Iplehouse to come up with a few more mature-looking guys. Now two of my girls have a version of Owen, but they can't all have one. Like, how many brothers can he have? I just hope Iplehouse doesn't discontinue the JIDs altogether, because they sure don't show that size much love.

    29. He's handsome MBLilac!
I love my JID's too even though I don't really play with them as much as the bigger sizes.
I did take a new pic of Ella today though (JID Tania)

    30. JinCIncy She's really really beautiful. I think she's one of the most beautiful Tanias I've seen. I LOVE her colours.

My love for terrifying 80s/90s fashion prolly stems from the fact that I was born in the 90s and didn't really experience the horrors first hand (or remember)

    32. Haha @Roterwolkenvogel you missed the shoulder pads. But low rider pants might compensate for any textile abomination you might have missed in the 80. She looks far from horrible.

Stella need a face renewal, I think. She has suffered quite a bit over time.

    34. So Luts just put out what i think is a new body that 'might't have hybriding potential... These little guys are 1 cm shorter but are freaking ripped... is .4 cm differnce on a neck doable?

    35. My newest Iple family; Steve and Isis (JIDs 'I' and Owen), KID Lisa, and Eric & Nyssa (BIDs Naias and Serca)

    37. That's wonderful! <3

    38. @MB Lilac Your crew is lovely! Did you made Steve's wig yourself? Finding male wigs is hard and Owen is on my wishlist!

      @Roterwolkenvogel :D That sweater!!!!

    39. @Musume - Thanks! Yes, I made his wig myself. I really hate making wigs, and although it isn't perfect, I find it looks okay. I made two hard wig caps before he was painted, so I still have another to make him a longer hairstyle for his Fantasy persona.

    40. Hi everyone, I'm wondering what stands you use for your JIDs, if you do use them. I have a Kaiser stand and it's atrociously bad, it lacks a locking mechanism. My girl being very top heavy (glam bust) slides down by her own weight :|, causing the clamp to expand and the holder to slide up in the stand base = useless.

I've tried to search the forums and based on what I've seen (In large doll discussions) I'll probably steer clear from Iplehouse's own stands and Volks stands. I'm considering the invisible clamp stand over at ACBJD. I'd also like to know if anyone has nice saddle stand recommendations?

    41. I use the Kaiser stands without any issues. But with the much larger dolls I had a similar issue, so I measured where the top of the stand should be inside the base, and I cut a small dowel to fit inside the bottom space. That keeps the holder from sliding down. And if you find it works well, then you can glue the dowel into place and paint it the same colour so it disappears.
