I think IOS does a quarterly sale of their Classe60 dolls, don't they? I really really want G, he's PERFECT for a character very dear to me, and I'm happy to wait a few months as I haven't got any money right now anyway, but I would like to know that he'll eventually come up for sale again...

I found this on the site, that's what I'm pretty much going on...

 

They decide on a quarterly basis which dolls to sell. The dolls that are picked for re-release depends mostly on customer demand. M and G were released at the same time in Feb 2011 but haven't been resold again until now; January will be the first resale of M because enough people asked. If you want her to resale G, post a message on the Q&A so she knows there's demand for him.

Believe me, he's as far from Klaus (both in looks and personality) as one can get, in real. Only the buffness seems a bit similar, but Klaus is way thicker than this guy.

He really does look spot-on like Keiji (even if I didn't already know where the inspiration came from), so no wonder about this 'copy right' issue...at all.

(I'm sorry if this part will be a little Off but since Stille is Keiji, and he'll be released as such, it's still kind of On, I think.);

It's a surprise for me, that so many people who read ITW like Keiji. (And that IoS chose him, so he must be their fav character, too)
Personally, I would never buy a doll whom I heard was inspired by him (even in part). I already couldn't really understand why one would like a rapist serial killer like him, who enjoys raping and torturing -then finally killing- people, with nothing to like about him (and I won't count his looks as one)... at all. In the story.
Sometimes, I feel like these things are taken too lightly in fandoms. I mean, the things a character does - especially one like Keiji. Rape. Murder and sadism in serial, without a figment of regret or remorse. (Well, he enjoyed it greatly and still does.)

That doesn't mean I don't like ITW, though (because I do). And this is only a personal view on Keiji and the whole thing I wanted to share...for a long time. :P
Because I couldn't stop wondering about the 'why'. ^^;

 

To tell the truth I've read only few pages way back so I don't remember his character well but I remember that I loved his design so much "I'm from those who reads any manage with very beautiful drawings"

So for me, I liked him because I purely loved the design lol also the same goes to Chaos(Gin) and Shadow(Ulquiorra) and Jaguar(Grimmjaw) "I have never read the manga but saw their pictures everywhere and loved their beautiful design "


Also, manga stories and characters are fiction not real

 

I heard some people finds that dangerous guy is very interesting. in this case I though it only because his LOOKS. As a person Keiji might be way too dangerous to me but base only on his looks, he's hot.

I like Stile (aka Keiji) but I'm not going to think of him as same as 'Keiji' from ITW. I got scared from reading his story and what he did and capable to do in ITW.

 

Yes. What I mainly meant was that I would probably not be able to separate the doll from the character, since they look SO alike. But that's just in my case. hehe

Btw. For me it was not scared of what he did but rather becoming extremely angry (shortly)... v__v˘

 

*ahem* I bought him because he looks like Shaggy of Scooby Doo to me.
I just bought and read all the ITW doujinshi, but I still can see him as Shaggy.

When I first saw him, I thought he looked sweet, gentle and warm. So I'm sticking with that personality for him!

 

Stile still looks tough but sweet to me too. I have not read the manga he is inspired from but I did look at the pictures. They did a good job at sculpting him. Too bad they ran into the copyright issue. I also wonder how, if at all, it will affect the Bleach inspired characters as mentioned before. Glad I already have a Jaguar! Though Osiris is still around and he was inspired by Sebastian from Kuroshitsugi.

I personally don't see anything wrong with making dolls inspired by other people, fictional or not. As long as you are not claiming that they are them or that you designed the original character. I guess it is a fine line.

 

I have never read the manga and know nothing about it, other than the pictures I looked up when I got the notice. I am just not really interested in yaoi in general, though the characters are often easy on the eyes. I thought Stille looked like a man who has seen the world, knows more than he says and has a good sense of humor about it all. I have a character just like that so the fit was perfect. I am glad I chose to get him soon enough so that I don't have to pay for licensing that is meaningless to me.

 

I meant that for ME his looks reminds me a bit of Klaus, of course YMMV.

I've never read the doujinshi, so had no idea about his character, but even after finding out, it wouldn't bother me to have a doll based off of his character. No more then it would bother me to have a Jack the Riper doll.

I can pretty much ignore a charecters' transgressions... Gin in bleach is a total jerkwad but I'm still going to get him because I don't see him as Gin at all. I am going to make a Gin outfit for him just to make one of my guy friends squee. Hes already told me that he wants a doll so he can turn it into someone from bleach lol

Is it sad that even though I'm getting a new doll before chaos that he's the one I've been drawing and planning the most? lol

Kitsune is so handsome, just love love his faceup! I hope that IOS will make bodies only in the future, don't know if it will match my Chaos head, but here's hoping.

I apologize if this has been mentioned before but it's hard to find a one letter word with the search function...

Anyway, I only recently found out that IoS sculpts tend to be based on pre-existing characters. Before that I just assumed the resemblance was a coincidence.

I was wondering what character G is supposed to look like? I quite like the mold and the character basis isn't really super relevant since I wouldn't be making a doll of the character, but I'm just curious.

 

I believe M is based on Miyavi and G is based on Gackt.

Whoa, that's weird because he was sold out before. Maybe someone changed their mind and he was selling well enough before that they decided to let them cancel and put him back up for sale.

Well, if anyone else had wanted him before he becomes Keiji and the price goes up, now's the time to snatch him up!

HA! That's awesome! I like M a lot. I don't remember paying much attention to G. I used to be a super Gackt fan so I'm surprised I didn't notice the resemblance. Maybe it's their faceup on him. I don't like it at all.

I wonder if the other 60cms are based on J-rockers? S is so sweet and pretty. I'd love to know who inspired him!

 

so today... I was messing around with my guys cause... I started on a really giant tattoo on one of them. And I thought I would take a moment to actually give Nichodemus his hair and see what kind of a response I got... It is was like he said hello. He has no eyes, he has no body... no faceup yet so I can match things up if they are slightly off when I can afford his body... but he most certainly is Nichodemus and nobody else with his long black hair! I thought I would share.

I love that wig. It will come past his butt and almost to his knees on a 70 body... I won it on Ebay so I was SO PLEASED!

Oh I didn't ever say thank you macarontea for telling me there's no face up service. I prefer to do my own face-up most of the time but I just wanted him pretty the moment he came out of the box! Arg I really hope I don't have to buy the body! It would take that much longer to get him whole. I miss when IOS just sold heads lol...

 

Hey everyone,

I'm in the market for an 80cm doll and came across this brand. It looks perfect for what I need to shell a particularly large character. I've thought about Iplehouse and Angelsdoll but I really need a guy who's a head taller than everyone else. I skimmed through a few pages of comments here and would like to ask a few questions.

How do you guys like the 80 cm body?
How do you like the company? They say they're going to have another 80cm doll up for sale in January so I'm tempted to snag one.
Do you guys find other heads to fit 'well enough' or is the 80cm head really necessary for the body?

Just ask in the Q and A section of the IOS website. They re-release scuplts based on demand so you gotta poke them a bit I also see Mezz on the MP once in awhile...

 

Thank goodness, order info is up at last for Osiris and Chaos. I can't wait as I have wanted an Osiris forever now.

Quick question for anyone with Class80 guys at home, what size wig are you finding fits best? 8-9 or 9-10? IOS lists the heads at 9am, so I wasn't sure if they could fit both?

 

Does anyone think it will be head only or whole doll for Chaos and Osiris?

 

they told me head + body only but it would be freaking awesome they they had an head only option...

According to IoS, for Osiris you can only get the full doll, but with Chaos, you can get a full doll or just the head. This is how it is worded on the website anyway. Doesn't make much sense to me. And here I was thinking I may try to grab another head, but I'll be passing.

Does anyone here have Asyd? I've been drooling over him forever but cannot find any pictures of him T_T
