@ SpottyJane: love seeing another practice head! Mine also happens to have a short brown wig.

Meet Brandon, I finally finished him yesterday on Halloween ^^ He is the DF-H Practice Head on a DF-A body (temporarily, the fit and match is pretty off and the body was meant as a hybrid for my Dollzone head)

 

Genevieve, I'm really interesred to see new DF-H, but I hope to keep myself off buying anything - I have to much DF dolls already.

Are your DF-H and DF-A in one colour?
My DF-H pink looks a bit yellower than DF-A pink, but I wasn't sure whether is't my own luck, time difference or whatever, because I supposed DF-H and DF-A to be the same in colours.

 

Pete, I like your Brandon. This practice head is quite nice. I didn't think much of mine when he was blank, but after finishing him, I really like him. I might have to buy mine his own body.

 

I really liked these practice heads, they all turned out really adorable. I wish I'd gotten one but I have enough floating heads. D: However, I do have a story of a wonderful practice head getting a body after me liking him so much! My boy Ghast was a DF-A practice head and now he's his own character and everything.

i recently changed my boy's faceup, he is a DFH Nangong Limited.

 

Anybody know if Dollfamilyh white skin could match a migidoll type b white skin?? im not too sure about it since there are no comparison photos in the web

 

I love DF for their idea with all that practice heads! I own one for more than a year, he became a doll very soon after his coming, because I realised that keeping that nice smiling thing in a box was a crime.

Hey everyone! I just had to come and show you all my little darling who arrived on Friday. I ordered the DF-H Suxun, with a free Lyndon head with the aim to use Lyndon as a practice sculpt, and Suxun as the main one. But, as soon as I opened the box, I just fell in love with Lyndon, so now he is the main head! Hes my first ever doll, and I really love him. The 65cm body is absolutely beautiful, and posed perfectly straight out of the box. I couldnt be happier! He came with a shirt, trousers and shoes, and I have since made him two wigs, and a turtleneck sweater. Hes just so cute, i love him :3 Once i can afford the materials I will be trying to give him a faceup and building his character! He doesn't have a name yet, I really like the name Lyndon, but think I should be more original. Any ideas?
Anyway, I hope you like him!

I will be able to tell you once my order arrives. I've got a smaller one on the way and giving the jointed hands to a friend of mine for her Migi.

 

I am going to have to pack this guy up and take him outside for an autumn photo shoot. I hope I can make it this weekend. Before that, I just wanted to quickly share, Sadol Senior Delf sized school uniforms are a nice fit. This is the 1st Gen body.

 

Does anyone know when they come back?

 

I remember having read something about the end of October. Maybe if you ask one of their dealers, they'd have news? I'm very curious about the upcoming sculpts.

The head I recently bought for practice is old. He's yellowed, doesn't have magnets, and the headcap is pretty loose. The ears are just carved holes without any detailed sculpting inside. I still hope to give him a permanent faceup one day, this is what my Xuan head looks right now (originally female, I think?):

Unfortunately I messed up on the lashes (look like fluff) and the inside of the mouth, but love the eyebrows a lot.

 

Awww, Congrats Sylaryss, Suxun looks so comfy in your hand! I love his cheeks. So much character already.

 

I have a question.... is your head ABS or vinyl or is it resin?

Loving the Suxun sculpt... Argh I just discover DF-H's new(ish) and impressively varied range when they're closed!

Does anyone know when they'll be back? Cos darn Suxun could be the perfect sculpt for the little brother to my Jerome/Jareth (a pair of Sabiks in both sizes); I'd just need to add elfen ears and he'd be perfect as the younger (supposedly smarter and more handsome) sibling.

 

SuziePlum, those heads are all made of resin.

 

Im pretty sure suxun is one of the discontinued sculpts so even when they come back, he won't be available out of curiosity, what skin colour would you want him in?

I am really happy for them, both DF-A and DF-H are doing amazing things. Have you seen the new DF-A gift head? He is absolutely adorable. I'd love one.

Edit: Oohhh they even have a little 26 cm Linfeng! Haha that is so tempting.

 

Whaaat? Oh no. Am I dreaming? I should be sound asleep actually given it's 4am in the morning. One Linfeng, two Linfengs, three Linfengs...

 

Im glad that DF-H is back. But, Im kinda sorry they decided they had to discontinue all their old sculpts. (except for Linfeng. ???)

I would have liked to have gotten a a brooding Borken or a cute XiangYi, someday, or even a mischievous LingYu. Makes me glad I had enough to buy a SuXun before he got discontinued. He was just too handsome to pass up.

It's a hard decision Ayame-sama, your Lyre looks very attractive in both wigs .

~ As for this winter's event, I'd love to participate, mostly because of the elf-vers. Linfeng, his ears & 65cm body are very tempting.... Would love to, but can't: No more new dolls before the blank heads are painted , and as I'm in the process of moving, this can still take a while.

Looked over in the corner of my room, and I just realized...I've never posted here! I have three DF-A dolls--all practice heads on various bodies. All...the same practice head, actually. o.O Don't know how that happened....

Here's Avery, my most modded of the trio. She's on the Mirodoll 62cm girl body. Match is perfect! Will have to get pics of all three of them together soon!

And I just fell hard in love with the Christmas event head...oh dear. But I see from studying the pictures it looks a lot like the three I have (Dollism practice heads). I was actually planning to mod my one untouched girl to have cheekbones, much like this new Christmas head. Inspiration!

 

first time here! for the life of me I have not been able to find any owner photo examples of tan Doll Family H bodies, or tan Doll Family H sculpts in general! does no one own any? that can't be the case! I've been wanting to have a better idea of what their tan resin looks like on an entire body, but google and forum searching has led me nowhere. ): I just love the lithe look of that 61.5cm 2nd gen boy body...

that tan 63cm body on their website looks gorgeous though~~

Totally in love with the two little Linfengs. I have two of the originals (I have such a thing with that sculpt) and now I have to figure out which of the two I should get to be the son of one of the two. I am thinking the 45cm but I would love to have the tiny little guy. Decisions, decisions.
