So pretty! I love the colors of her faceup.

 

I agree, her eyeshadow (Is that the correct term?)/eye makeup is really strikingly lovely. What a pretty girl!

Hey @Nebula look at these new shoes from Nine9 Style! They're low heels, perfect for Delfs!

So, I bought a light tent the other day from Amazon, and I have to say I love this thing. No more horrible ceiling light glare! And flash completely unnecessary.

Haven't taken any shots of Evensong in a LONG time. So I stuck her in it. Such bright, clear colors! You can really see that gorgeous Beauty Green shining through!



Edit: Hmmm.... looking at the pic, I think the photography lights I had set up either side of the tent makes it look a little washed out. I may retake without the lights. I think the LED ceiling light diffused through the tent makes it plenty bright enough.

Hey peeps, I took pictures of my girls standing in two different kinds of high heeled shoes if you want to see.



Cheonsa (left) is in Senior Delf girl shoes. They fit really well. Alex (right) is wearing Leeke L-Type shoes. They're much higher and it's harder to get them on. Both girls stand beautifully. I just wish doll shoes didn't cost as much as human shoes.

 

Oh, I like those heels! It's nice to see that they can stand in them, too, and I'm glad to know the Delf girls will fit well into Senior Delf shoes. Now, are they designed for the heel feet or just the flat feet? I'm just curious. I know some pairs of Senior Delf girls shoes are designed to be worn with the heeled feet/legs, while others are designed to be worn with flat feet. Either way, they look great.

 

I have to admit, I'm curious as well. Noriko (DES) is on a F60 body, and except for shrinking the foot (and the body) a bit, it doesn't seem that CP has changed their girls foot size very much.

Either way, your girls look amazing in those heels!

I seem to remember that Delf girls were 57cm, am I right?

@Ravenwolf and @TeaPartyRevolution I cant get enough of your collection. My Juri 05 got a new outfit and wig, hopefully I will be able to share her new look soon.

 

Thanks for sharing @sailorchiron . I'm always nervous to buy shoes for my gang because they're (generally) so expensive and there's always the chance they won't fit. Your girls look great btw. I love the wig on your soo.

Luts has 2 different kinds of Senior Delf heels right now, those super high ones that only fit the high heel legs, and these. They ARE for high heel feet, but it's a pretty gentle slope. This group of shoes that they got all at once with all the grommets were used in some of the Delf girl fullsets. They also have some cute boots that were shown on Delf...Ann? maybe? The newest shoes they've gotten in are for the high heel legs and I don't think they'd fit.

Delf girls are 57-58 depending on the noggin size. Miyu has a smaller head than AES so she's shorter even with her heels on!

It seems so unfair that doll clothes and shoes are just as expensive as human clothes and shoes, but have so much less fabric! I want this denim jacket for Alex from Nine9 Style but it's more than MY denim jacket! Isn't that wig pretty!? It's one of Lut's newish Delf wigs. I want it in all of the colors.

Question for the experts: what differences are there between the girl body and the mature body other than bust size? It SEEMS like the girl body (Cheonsa) has bigger thighs and a bigger waist as well as the smaller bust. I have a corset that fits Alex's mature body nicely (except that even she doesn't have quite enough boobage) but it wouldn't go around Cheonsa's torso. Am I insane?

 

I don't have the girl body, but it could be that it's meant to have more childlike or preteen proportions all around? Like, children tend to be wider in the waist and such since they haven't developed the curves yet. Just a theory, so don't quote me on that. lol

 

Yeah, I thought that the Luts girl bodies are taller. I read somewhere on the FL site that their girls are around 55cm tall now. *shrug*

I saw some shoes that I like for Noriko on the Luts site, and I can always do the "stuff paper in the toes to make the shoes fit" trick.

OMG, IKR? Doll clothes being so expensive is exactly why I taught myself to sew! Not that it prevents me from buying them when I can.

Is it kind of sad that I'll blow $120 on a gorgeous dollheart ensemble or $60 on a pair of doll shoes without batting an eye, but will totally balk at spending more than $40 on a pair of sneakers for myself? Even if it's for my job?

 

For some reason the shoes are the only thing I struggle with. I don't know why, I realize it must be hard to make such tiny shoes lol, but every time I look at the price I'm like ughhh. And they seem like they're often preorder too. I do wish I could sew though... All I can make is socks/stockings (which I figured out because I felt like the price + shipping was a little high for such a small thing)

Oh well, I've gotta just suck it up for the shoes I guess!

 

My Grail is here!!! He arrived today OMG so happy!!! I've wanted a VE El forever it seems, but hadn't been actively looking with a listing or anything, and I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and now one is mine!!! He just needs to get his proper face-up!!!

I do think his current face-up is nice, but he's replacing my "fake" VE El that AngelToast created for me out of a Feeple60 El head, and I was hoping to keep some of that character's looks, though it may have to be updated a bit for the BW since the other was NS

 

Oh haha @sailorchiron mines not new, but thanks she just got an updated look, She was my first doll and I got her in 2008. Every couple years I spoil her. Poor girl sits in a box

 

@Loodles I do something like that with my El. He is carefully kept out of the light most of the time (he gets the corner of the shelf with no light). He comes out every spring for photos

Hey Delf friends, my Ari arrived on Thursday!



She's a really strange color, a dull beige, not all that yellow, just...dull. I want to try the toothpaste and baking soda whitening method I saw on YouTube, but I didn't decide to do that until AFTER I finished restringing her, so it's going to wait for a little while lol. Inside her chest and head cap what's left of her original color is a soft pinky peach.

Okay, so now I have Ari, Ari Wink, Angel Elf Soo x2, and Miyu. Who's next? El? Chiwoo? If? More Soos? xD

 

She's adorable. Can't wait to see what you do with her.
