I'm currently waiting for a TD Xiao Ling which I ordered a month ago. After reading some comments about TD face ups sometimes not being like on the promo pics at all I started getting a little nervous. It's only my third time ordering a new doll with face up. First time was my DOD Ivan, which was perfect. Second was my Dream Valley Elvish. That one was a total failure, someone turned the poor boy into a clown.
Now I hope TD won't disappoint me.

I also ordered a Bonbon Galaxy 1/4 Boy Lime Body earlier today. The current offer on Alice's is too good to resist and the body is beautiful, hehe.

 

LegendDoll has just informed me that my AngellStudio Luna should be about another 2 months

 

Just put in an order for two Leekeworld heads (Mia and PiyoPiyo) I dont think it'll be a long wait, I'm hoping the closing sale wont cause too much disruption

Hey everyone! Haven’t been here for a while, but I need to ask you guys a question: have any of you ordered from the Leekeworld sale lately? I sent an order on march 5 and it hasn’t shipped yet. I get that they must be drowning in orders, and I admit I ordered a lot of items, but I was wondering if it is normal or if I should be worried: it’s already been 13 days... The other day I placed an order for a 1/4 Imomo Doll!

The specs: “Mie” head sculpt, “Chocolate” skin tone, and “Large” bust.

I’m so excited to meet her!!

She’s gonna be such a cutie, that’s for sure!

 

Aww. I need to google it, and want to say she is really cute! And the cost is not high. I noticed that there are bodies, heads separately, and also frame bodies. What mean those? Does this doll have that frames inside the body? And it helps for articulated? Thanks for answer)))

 

I ordered three wigs on March 6, and my order also hasn't shipped yet. I placed an order early in the event period (Feb. 2), and it shipped really quickly, but it seems to have slowed down a lot.

A friend ordered a bit earlier in March and only very recently saw her order ship, for what it's worth. Hopefully your order ships soon!

Sorry I didn't see this until today, I ordered on 11th March, got y tracking number on 24th March and I received it today 27th March (Korea to UK, EMS)

Order was mostly wigs and two heads

 

I'm actually in a weird position with waiting! So I just lured two friends into the hobby, and one of them ordered her first doll but will be shipping her to me, a Mystic Kids Elise, both human head and elf head, for faceup and styling before she goes off to her new home. I have lovingly prepared a bag for her to include all the basic necessities (cleaning sponges, eye putty, a hot glue gun, pipe cleaners, hemostats, all the things a new doll owner should have, but she's frequently working in the middle of nowhere so she doesn't always have access to these things). So waiting for resin to come to me before she goes on to her new home, it's all the excitement and none of the credit card bills!

The other friend is buying two girls from me, a Withdoll Cynthia and Cathy who have been sitting in boxes for... A few years... In my defense, I was supposed to get back into the convention circuit, but it's so exhausting on my introverted self and I'm working full time and married and... Yeah, just a lot going on.

(*Doesn't look at the mountain of resin that needs wigs, eyebrows, and clothes*)

Haven't been terribly active because of*motions to life* but excited to have doll conversations again! My wife loves the dolls and wants so bad to go to something with them, and she lets me hyper fixate and infodump about them and I hope she finds one she loves soon... (Besides the TGCF Ringdolls, because I already cried at missing HC)

 

Eeeeeeehhh I’m trying to be so patient waiting for my cosmic hound, but the seller has been saying they’re nearly done for almost two months! I know they actually mean it this time because they sent a video but I wanna see my boy!

 

Just had a little hiccup for my pseudo waiting, my friend accidentally ordered the human head from Dolk in a different color than the whole doll from DDE. She's going to message each one to see if it would be possible to update the color, but I may end up acquiring another head if we have to order the separate head again.

 

Still waiting on too much right now honestly. Glad I got in my Dust of Doll Appi Cöti today as a belated birthday gift from Germany with no events. However I am still waiting for my Cyclops and Rabbit bjd from Dustbunny coming in from Sweden and my Rap1993 Memorie that I ordered on preorder back in November. Just sitting on edge anxiously awaiting while still wanting to buy more dolls out of country. I need help.

 

Just kidding it got shipped out to me....now. This isn't on Legenddoll, their team has been more than generous and polite with me bugging them.

 

Well, today was an arrival day colored with surprise! I was expecting a different package from Legenddoll (2 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of eyes, I made that order mid December, so before this one) so you can bet I was very confused when there was a box way too big for some accessories on my doorstep it was indeed the Huajing body and Fatemoons head I ordered just before New Years, not the accessories I was expecting it to be! Quite an improvement from last year's ~7 months wait time to this year's 4 months.

I think I have to ask Erica what's the status on those shoes though

 

My body (Huajing) has made it as far as LA... I'm very excited to get my boy, it's a race between whether his head or his body reaches me first.

 

My Sprouting Dragon body FINALLY came in! It's June 26th so that's a 9 month wait. Woah... I knew it had been a long time but dang.
it's a nice body though and it's perfect for the head I got it for. So i'm happy to have another doll completed.

 

Just bought a Mystic Dolls Velkhana secondhand on IG last night and now I'm waiting...to pick her up in person! The seller only lives a 45-minute drive away from me, so we're doing a little mini-meet in a week or so to make the handoff.

I admired this sculpt back in early 2020 when it was new, but I had an issue with compulsive doll-buying to cope with lockdown stress at the time, so I let her go. I don't know if the artist is making new dolls in that sculpt anymore- she hasn't said Never yet, so to speak, but I don't think there have been any since 2022 or so. And for one to show up this close to me seems like fate!

So happy and excited for the Souldoll Soulkid Crispin that arrived today! I got her secondhand from the MP on here. She is a birthday gift from my mom, which is not for another month. After checking to make sure everything was okay, she went back into the box and I'll be waiting another month to have her for real. A bit of unconventional waiting for a waiting room, but hey I'm waiting lol.

She is so lovely and I'm thrilled to finally add another Souldoll to my collection soon. During my time away from being active in the hobby, Souldoll was the one company site I'd check somewhat regularly, I love them so much. Crispin had also been one of my favourite sculpts released during my off-years and I feel lucky that there had been one on here.

 

After just over a year!! My son (SolarWindDolls cosmic hound) is finally finished! He should be shipping this week and I am SO Excited!!

 

Just put in my first order through superbuy to reserve Harvest Moon Doll's new body, which is PERFECT for one of my ocs, and im super anxious about keeping an eye on updates so i can put in the final payment later but also very excited to get it!

 

Ordered a Guard Love Miegu at the end of June from Legenddoll and am excited to get her in a few months! I can't wait to see her in person.

 

Just put an Elfdoll K on layaway secondhand, dunno if layaways count for this room but I am so excited to have taken this step towards getting such a distinct looking doll. The head is on a boy body but I am hoping to mod it to be female and my mini me eventually. The layaway is for 1-2 months and I am so excited for her to get here once I pay it off and be able to start the project! I've never modded a resin doll before but I'm excited to learn.

 

Yesterday, I ordered a Phoebee from SapientDreams on Etsy. She’s being made to order, so she should be home within a month or so. I’m very excited to receive such a unique fantasy sculpt! Just in time for autumn, aka Spooky Season.

 

Not a full doll, but waiting patiently for my Huajing Doll head to get here :3

 

Ordered an imda 1.7 Diane July 8, still waiting. Along with a Latidoll Aga Centaur May 7, still waiting. Also June 14 waiting on a Dollyzone body for my Miadoll Mandu head. We'll see when they get here and what customs I pay as a US resident but I'll be sure to update with that information

 

Interested to hear what sort of wait time you have. Did you order through Alice's Collections? I just ordered a Huajing Kui Ning through them and I'm hoping it's not too long a wait

 

I also ordered through Alice! It might be a bit of a wait for me because I have another head in my order, but so far, I like the communication.

This will be my second time since my first order went well. I ordered the Eva smiling head! I'm so excited because I added the faceup option and I looove their faceup style. I wish their artists did commissions. I hope you post pics of your doll, Kui Ning is so cute!

 

Eva is such a pretty sculpt, I was debating getting the sleeping Eva head as well as Kui Ning as she looked so cute. Their faceup style is really nice, very soft and natural looking. I will for sure post photos when she arrives~ I'd love to see your girl too! Hopefully we don't have too long a wait

 

Yes, for sure I'll post photos! I saw the little hint of fang on the Eva head and haaad to get it, though if I had more space and money Nui King and Jett would be in my cart. Did you order with the face up option as well? I'm interested in seeing how long the wait will be as well. I already have a wig and body for my doll, so I'm crossing my fingers the resin will be a match!

 

Ordered a blank Moonlit Wonder Akheilos head and the alpha body from Legend Doll yesterday! Should only take 3 months to get to me (if all goes well, fingers crossed). Can’t wait for him to come also waiting on a Fengxian Jiu LuSan head that I ordered through her agent…we’ll see when that arrives.

 

I was tempted by her company faceup but I have plans to send her off for a custom one when she gets home, so I just ordered her blank. Hopefully we don't have too long a wait for them!

After falling in love with the Penny Box dolls, I found out that Dollzone released the dragons in resin last year or maybe 2 years ago?…. I just put one on a short layaway from the second hand market. I’m so excited to see how articulated he is. The tiny ones blew me away.

 

I paid off my Elfdoll K this afternoon and am so excited, the seller will ship in the next couple of days and soon she'll be home!! I'm proud that I was able to pay it off relatively quickly, even though the doll itself will be a bit of a project for a while. I love the sculpt and the whole look, so here's hoping it works out!

I have an obitsu 55 and obitsu 60 that should be arriving tomorrow! They need a lot of cleaning up but I'm excited Buyee decided to ship them through UPS which was a little scary at first, but as far as I know they're not threatening to destroy my package so I think it'll be fine...?

After a long break in the hobby, I almost immediately order two new dolls!

RS Lian and a head from Flynn doll, Yuan, through Space studio.

I've realized that I prefer bigger dolls, so Lian will be a bigger version of Aravaati (RS Mei).

I haven't found much info on Flynn, but I loved the head. Such a cute smile! I'm hoping she will fit on the AoD body.

Of course, immediately after ordering Yuan, I discover Babel Towers XiaoTian who also has a cute, broad smile. I had a moment of "oh, no, is XiaoTian cuter?", but I've already laid down the deposit.

I just ordered Domuya Mona on a Flexi-2 60cm body.
She was an instock doll that had never been sold and was on clearance.
She is sold as-is so there might be some yellowing or scuffs, and she's old, but that never bothers me.
I think she might have been a display doll?
I'm trying to decide on a name for her now... Beatrice keeps coming to mind, but I'll wait until she gets here.
I'm excited for the find because I wanted another girl doll.

@ArtsyCreature She should be here on Friday. I'll have to take pictures. I find it hard to get pictures online of the Domuya Flexi 2 bodies. The company is no longer around, even though the doll was just sitting there in the store waiting to be sold the whole time. I was trying to find measurement so I could make her something to wear before she got here. There are old threads here on DoA about the company, and quite a few doll profiles from people that own them on here. The company was fairly poplar awhile back.

 

I had also somehow a break from my hobby.
But I had a trip to Japan last month and had to visit the volks store.
In the end I brought to MSD Ladys with me.
So I feel with you.
Yuan looks really beautiful.
The XiaoTian is also nice. Maybe for your next one?

I ordered a Dolk Suigintou from ebay.
They state she was never opened.
The shipment notice came today so depending on the delivering company she will be here by the end of next week/ beginning of the week after. And then off course costums...

Haha, funny story. I couldn't get XiaoTian out of my head, and I actually had a dream about her. That's when I realized I needed to get her as well. I asked to be notified on Dollsphere when she became available again, and she was sent from them yesterday!

So now I'm waiting for two heads and one doll.

I hope your Dolk arrives swiftly and not too expensively, and in great condition.

I got a message from FedEx that they want some money. But the package is still in Japan.
Taxes should come when Suigintou is in Germay. I´m a little bit confused.
And I don´t want to pay taxes two times ...

 

Use a customer service number you find not in their money request contact (preferably from their official website) and call them to ask. Don't use any contact in the message just in case it's a scammer. Scammers sometimes hack to find packages that will have duties due and request them in advance. Because duties are expected, they're more likely to be successful with that scam. Always double-check via the carrier's official site before clicking on anything suspicious.

She has the company box and company faceup which I am very much looking forward to removing She shipped yesterday via UPS, so now I am filled with dread. I hope nothing goes wrong. (She's only shipping domestically it's just that I would never buy something coming UPS if I knew that's what was happening) I'm looking forward to her as a new little project for myself.
