oh neat idea! I wanna get Bite SP too since I missed the original Bite. I wish all resin matched, would be so much easier, but you can get a body with Bite SP if you email DevotionDoll, the have a body collab for the preorder period

 

The sculptor said it's a match for SOOM normal!

Ty I was thinking for the Bite SP head getting a Telesthesia Doll Strong 75 v2 body which isn't listed, but ironically I'm getting a DZ slim 75 for a different floating head so it's possible he might share it on occasion

I can confirm DollZone, DikaDoll, and 2D Doll will match. Newcloversinging says Angell Studio can match SOOM colors, but doesn't currently have a boy body listed by them. Coral Reef/Whale Island offers SOOM normal for their 1/4 boy body, and presumably others (I've just been looking for boy bodies specifically). Also, I have no idea if Telesthesia Doll offers color matching, but their normal pink is a remarkably good match for SOOM normal for not specifically being color matched.

 

They do color matching with their library.and they match soom normal

 

I am dying from waiting because I just preordered myself my first ever Neo Blythe doll Love Jaylah. I have been wanting one of these since I joined the hobby (2018) and then shortly thereafter I went on a five year hiatus due to Covid. But hey I am back. I also got in my first ever Azone doll since I was lusting for one too. She is a petite iris collect. I am quite impressed with the quality too. Her eyes and head cap with wig attached is completely customizable. You go Azone lmao!

My doll that was supposed to be done in late November has just been extended to new years at least at least it’s because the artist is taking extra time on the dolls and for themselves but my boyyyy!!

I’m waiting in a SolarWindDolls Cosmic Hound! The artist does everything by themselves so I’m glad they’re taking the extra time, and apparently it’s their first time with an airbrush and they weren’t happy with how some of the dolls turned out so they actually restarted the painting on them! I appreciate the dedication they have to their dolls!

They’re extremely talented but their preorders sell out pretty quick. They’re super good at sculpting realistic fantasy-horror stuff. I’m not sure if we’re allowed to share links but their Insta is vitzly.putzly

Finally my wait is now over for my second hand yummysweetdoll Anzu and she is gorgeous. As soon as I name her Ill be sure to complete her doll profile to share her with you guys.

 

I placed my order with Noppin for a fully painted and blushed Unoa Sist in Fairy (and a few extras). I waited to post here until the order was submitted and accepted at Alchemic Labo. Merry SIST-mas! And now Lusis, B-el and the rest of the Tenshi Unoa Gang and I must wait. 2025 will be a Unoa year for us!

 

I preordered a basic lati doll white sp Jia! So excited, I’ve wanted one for a while now. I think she’ll be lati white number 9! They’re so small and cute I want an army of a solid 15 before I call it at enough lol

 

Hey everyone! I finished my layaway payment for my Pipos76 body from Piposland late last month (Nov). Pretty excited as that's another huge mountain of resin in the house.

Anyone have ordered from them before? Was curious how long does Piposland usually take to ship their resins as this is my first from the company. Though, I assume I'm looking at 3 months at least given that's the average most BJD companies (except maybe Iplehouse) takes to ship their dolls now.

 

I have been in touch with UM.DOLL, the vendor through which I ordered the Acorn Doll ChaCha head - I was told it is supposed to arrived with them in a week or two, hurray!

 

I'm currently waiting on my FCS SD16 Topaz in PS Amber w/romantic makeup.

 

I have an update: One of the two ChaCha heads I ordered (in the end, on the cusp of her ordering period, I went with TWO, from two different, unknown-to-me, vendors, kind of as an insurance policy: UM.DOLL and DOLLSPHERE respectively) will be shipped out today!
It is the head I ordered via DOLLSPHERE.

 

My experience with Dollsphere was positive. I ordered Muhan's Doll Puppy through and have him and he's legit. I have questioned a few artists that are partnered with and they have confirmed that they are working with so I have come to feel that the site is a safe one but still a relatively newer one

This one ended up taking over a month to arrive since the wait after the payment was nearly that long but he has arrived and is adorable. Additionally my two Wonderland Doll Leon Devil Heads arrived yesterday too! Now I just need like 7 bodies for all of the heads I have laying around

I love lati white! But I have a big problem that I cant decide, I wanting Lati White, but then think that I already have Realpuki in that scale, so I decided to buy lati Yellow first and lati white is going to wish list to later date.

 

I'm trying to meet my 2025 goal by having bodies for my floating heads ready to go, so I bought two bodies in stock from different shops, and... They seem to be stuck. First because of being shipped during the Christmas-New Year time and next because of the big storms here on the east coast of the US. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this bad timing with the mail, so I hope we all get our wintry mail soon...

 

Waiting on a head to ship from a dealer and for my Dream Valley Moth to be made. Still trying to find a body for the head I ordered had no idea that certain dolls had massive necks (the incoming head is for a 70cm body). I randomly found a Diana head secondhand last year and a Classydoll body secondhand that fit her perfectly—the skin tones are a close match too.

I don’t want to post about them if they’re within the ban timeframe; they don’t appear to be so but I’d prefer to be on the safe side. Diana has a CoA but as far as I can see, no maker’s date.

So what is the point of buying a head without a body? I assume you just find a second-hand head and body later? I also find the head of the doll I like at good price, but just afraid that I will not find the body, or it will be a different color, and can't decide... Or its okay and no problem with that? I often see the body without heads or heads without body of minifee dolls, so that probably no problem, but with another type of dolls...?

 

Personally, I look for sculpts that would fit my characters, which more often than not means doing it piece by piece. I can’t afford to drop a few hundred dollars (or more) without several months notice or some severe budget balancing, so I save up and then when I’m able to I buy what I can. I know someone that can help color-match (or I save for a nice face up) and then I go bit by bit on building my doll.

MNF have a lot of ‘floating’ or extra heads that come from events or from certain levels of ordering, they’re usually what you find as floaters since Fairyland makes quite a few sculpts.

 

Through a very unexpected development (a trade offer) I am now awaiting my humble little Grail, my very own Volks four sisters/ f-01 on sd10 body. I have thought of her so often and never yet got in motion to bring her home, and now she's coming to me this birthday week. Yay :3 can't wait to meet her at last.

 

I'm waiting for a Huajing Eva - I've actually been waiting since September but forgot my DoA data :') I'm looking forward to the little one though. Huajing waiting times are considerable, but I'm sure she's gonna be so worth it.

I caved and now I'm paying off two layaways! Aimerai's Ginko (Utopia Version) has been calling to me. I love his fullset so much!

 

I got 2/3 of my dolls in, just waiting to hear from Denverdoll about my moth! I ended up finding a secondhand Dollshe (made before the ban) who I liked a lot, so I splurged on him. I don’t have any doll plans aside from those at the moment, so it’s been a relatively short waiting time!

 

My two doll heads, which seemed to be stuck with a US shipping partner facility from the end of January through this past Thursday arrived home to me last night. The timing was such that it coincided with USPS accepting packages from China again; the tracking suddenly updated about an hour later. Maybe a coincidence? If anyone else's packages were in a similar situation, I hope they also reach you soon.

 

I've been worried about mine getting stuck, it seems most packages under the de minimis should arrive without issue (i *think* its currently set around $800). Mine is under the de minimis so fingers crossed!! Excited for you that you got your heads in!

 

My evantasy body I've been waiting on since October is getting sent to legenddoll next week so I should have that hybrid finally done soon!! Then I can make my profile that's been sitting in my drafts for like a year :3

 

I've just ordered the Mabel head of Leekeworld! They have in-stock heads for just only approximately 35$ (such a steal!). I just wonder if anyone here also take the chance to order dolls/parts from Leeke? How do you feel now? I'm so excited right now 'cause the sculpt is absolutely what I've always wanted.

There's so many items I'm waiting for, but LaLuna's 1/4 Body (Molly/Shirley) should probably be shipped out soon. Not sure when, but I feel it's just around the corner as it's been six months now. I also recently placed an order for Dollits' Dad 75 Jicheon, so he'll prob be home towards the end of this year.

And! Through a stroke of luck, after searching all over for two specific sculpts, I was able to get IG Angelos.Johan and the SHDSP2024 After Event - Soom R. Dokkebi Garion (in Baby Pink). So I'm also waiting for these two handsome sculpts to come home as well.

 

I just splurged on a 3D printed doll (the sculpt is AelithArt’s Orianna)! She’s made to order, but the turnaround time is really fast and she’s only got to travel a relatively short distance to get home.

I’m very much looking forward to meeting her!

I just got my grail!! I did not win the Volks lottery but I found my dream Volks Yumepi in a decently priced (relatively speaking ) Yahoo Japan auction. She’s been in Japan’s export customs for two days, and then she’s gonna be in US import customs after that, but even with all that I’m sure it will be a much shorter wait time than several of my past dolls that had to be cast to order.

I’ve never spent this much on a doll before, and this will not only be my first Volks but also my first doll with a company faceup. I would love to paint her myself, but the BTSSB face with the glitter is practically angelic, I couldn’t bring myself to wipe it.

Anyway I could ramble about her forever, I’m just so excitedddddd

 

That’s so exciting!!! I too am joining because I got my grail Volks Belldandy from YJA and I’m waiting for her to get to the proxy warehouse so she can be shipped to me She was also the most I’ve ever spent on one doll but absolutely worth it.​

 

I’m so happy I want to cry… the one and only AelithArt was selling a limited amount of physical dolls — “Robo” versions of their newer Mixy sculpt — and I just placed an order for the perfect shell for my Transformers OC!

My Cybertronian girl probably won’t be here for a while, but even though the wait will be difficult for me, I know it’ll certainly be a happy day whenever she comes home!

My AelithArt Orianna was just dropped off at the post office about 10 minutes ago! Ah! One of my two precious girls is on her way home!
