Waiting for my DoDollsDream Magaret and FifthMotif Venitu(it would be a real pain to deal with Chronopost later). For DDD, her last preorder took 6 months to complete, and this time it's indicated on the site that it would take 4-8 months. Besides the parcel for her would be huge !!!!

 

My Huajing Thorne with face up have shipped two days ago from Legend Doll finally, it has been 8 months now.

 

Asked Jane's Doll Land for an update on my Rafayeh, and she said that she'll get her at the end of August/early September. Also waiting on an Asleep Eidolon Valo (ordered in...February I think?), but I got him in tan so he's prob taking a bit longer.

 

Slumping my way in here to vent the funny/painful situation I am in. I'm waiting for my MerryDollRound Fang. She was basically right next door! Thirty minutes away, about! Then she was "in transit" for a few days, and I was wondering what's taking them so long to get her thirty minutes over to the post office here.

She popped up again yesterday...

I just got an email saying my doll is on the way! Only the Bluefairy body will miss!

 

I went a little insane on dolls this month with the Paypal pay-in-four because I finished off all my other layaways

I got the shipping notice for my gem of doll Ann fullset the other day, I'm so excited to have her but also a little nervous because she's estimated to arrive the same window of time that i'm about to leave for a vacation >.>

Finished my six month layaway last month for a Xaga boy body and a 1/4 Moom Doll Shampoo head. The body has arrived, but the head hasn't come in yet. I haven't seen anyone posting about receiving their Shampoo heads yet (aside from Weibo posts in July). Is anyone else waiting for theirs?

 

I'm also waiting! I went through Jane and the last update I got from her was my order is in the second batch and is supposed to arrive to her by end of this month (August)

 

That's reassuring! I also ordered through Jane, and it makes sense now that they're in a later batch than the ones I saw on Weibo, since she's an international dealer.

Ordered, on August 26th, from a vendor site named um.doll , an Acorn Doll ChaCha 1/3 head in pink.

Sooo excited to have found that sweet little smile available for sale somewhere even if it is not the whole doll! Been in love with it ever since I saw her in an advertisement for clothes on Moonlight BJD!
I will try and find her a body that will work after the head arrives.

I'm going to go insane waiting! I want my DC Alan and Lafal, and my Lutsies... I appreciate the time and effort that goes into these dolls, but my shelves are lonely ;_;; I hope to get an update about Lafal soon, at least. No Alan until Jan ;_;, Lutsies should be similar

 

I'm extremely excited to have woken up to a notification my application was selected for Mori 9's Caroli head! This will be my first boy doll since I sold my MSD Hewitt eons ago. I'm kind of petrified by the 75cm size tbh luckily I'll have a solid 4-6 months to warm up to the idea and make plans for him.

 

I ordered a pair of hands from huajing in April and Alice's says it's still going to be 2 months T_T over half a year for a pair of fists is... hmm...

 

In my experience, smaller pieces tend to take way longer because they wait for another not-full order they can do them with. Like, they always mix a full doll's worth of resin if they can, so they wait for a body the same color to make a full batch without waste kind of thing.

 

Got email today my Shampoo head shipped!

 

Yeah, I assume it's so, although in my experience small pieces have always been cast quicker, even if the company takes a while with full dolls - probably something has changed with casting services this year in general as there are lags in several companies that were considered ones with a faster turnover only... last year I just really hope this slowing trend doesn't get much worse.

 

My husband and I did an update of our dolly family today, and are awaiting the following:

• Volks DDS Alisaie "Final Fantasy XIV"
• Volks DDS Alphinaud "Final Fantasy XIV"

Sometimes, it's nice remembering that we have pre-orders. Haha. It's like...oh yeah...we should be getting those someday soon.

 

Waiting on a little quadrigadolls Eryn from Germany… hasn’t moved for almost a week. Do do love myself some international shipping.

 

I bought Sprouting Dragon Zilu female body second hand from local seller and it should arrive to me next week. Now I just hope it'll match at least one of my bodiless heads I have laying around. I regretted not getting it when it was released so I'm happy to get a new chance at it now.

I have been waiting for 5 months for a Candy Galaxy body that I bought with New Clover, and the zombie head (I don't remember the house right now), I really want to receive it, they told me that it will probably be ready in October.
I am also waiting for a Muhans doll head and 2 Old goat doll bodies that I bought with Space studio bjd.

A Ling from Miss Mian with Luladoll...and I just received today a 1/4 Ufdoll bjd with Dollsphere which I really liked even though it is Abs and not resin.

 

I ordered their event body mid april and received it two days ago in case it's a helpful estimate - it should be with you soon!

I'm already having a lot of fun imagining looks! Also, I couldn't decide on the resin wig colour and got both the pink and green... for all the fashion options haha. Can't wait to see yours too! Do you have any ideas or inspiration so far? I loved the oversize clothing looks, wondering if I want to try to sew something too.

I like all the resin wigs as well. I went with the light blue one but I know I want him to have white hair. When I saw him, I was instantly inspired to model him after a high elf DnD character I love but I suppose he would just have to wear modern clothing lol XD
I havent managed it myself but handmade clothes have such a charm to them

 

I went with the human head. I'll look at non-resin wigs too, but they are all such fun colours. My sewing skills are intermediate at best and part of the trick is finding the right patterns. And all the small buttons and things that go along with making doll clothes.
The blue resin wig will look great!

 

Doll clothes are like baby clothes in the sense that everything is cuter in tiny lol

I got a shipping notice for my Island Doll Yun Qing and Nuan Nuan already! Genuinely shocked; it's been about a month, and I ordered during a serious discount event.

Of course, they're shipped FedEx, which takes like a month to get here, but still. Resin dolls shipping a month after they're ordered?????

I just paid the remaining balance for Muhan's Puppy doll head since apparently they're ready for shipping through spacestudiobjd. I'm stupid excited to get the smiley little boy added to my collection Should take about week - two weeks in shipping and I hope they'll send it out already the next week so he'll get here sooner.

It's actually pretty funny, when I started I only wanted dolls with normal faces or a slight smile at most since they were more versatile in my head but now all my favorites and the ones I'm the most drawn to are the ones with silly expressions instead.

 

I put in an order for the Forest doll bjd on Clover Singing after thinking about it for a few days ^.^ I missed the first order period so I'm glad they had it available again! Someone who ordered from Taobao said it took about 3 months for it to ship, so I'm hoping for a similar timeframe!

 

Just placed an order in the new Skyland Dolls preorder for a human Pigi! I'm not sure I'd say she was a grail but I would always see pictures of her and just keep wanting my own. And this preorder had to open right when I'd decided I had all the dolls I ever wanted to make into characters...

I think I'll use her to reshell one of my very first tiny dolls from Frappzilla that has trouble posing -- the elastic she came with was way too thin to provide any force against clothing and thicker elastic doesn't fit, and besides, her OC would absolutely carry around the remains of her previous shell casually.

 

You know that feel when you were already in a bind with your last order but you go ahead and order Shampoo, Momo and DD from Ninodoll earlier this month because you been wanting them for a few years and then Wujin from Switch today? Yeaahhhhhh

I have just placed a layaway order for a Vampire Lola (with face-up) from Advillage/DollVillage! I'm very excited for my first vampire BJD.

I had previously told myself that I could only have one BJD on order at a time, though this technically makes me have two outstanding orders... Though my Gem of Doll Luna is currently travelling in the post so I feel like that doesn't really count!

I just ordered Joydoll's Jose head! He fits the vision of an OC of mine perfectly! I know I have quite some time to wait, but I'm super excited - I already ordered him a body, too (LoongSoul 68)! I hope it fits!
