Wow, Vings is brisk - 2.5 months since I placed my order and they shipped the Vings68 body to my Taobao proxy. But the timing couldn't be worse. I'm going to wait until after Christmas to send this body (plus other things I bought from Taobao) home from my proxy. This boy is gonna have to wait until the new year to be whole... I hope everything stays safe for a month and nothing is broken in transit...

 

I’m waiting on a secondhand adoption, a custom Resinsoul boy and a merman!

The merman will likely take the longest but I don’t mind! 2024 is going to be very, very busy for me.

ACBJD confirmed my payment for Huajing 1/5 doll.

November:
"Your Geeker just arrived, but Huajing Doll mistakenly sent the doll with boy body".

Meanwhile, I asked Alice how long it'll still be with my Huajing body order (paid in the end of September) and they said HJ estimated one more month So seems like all of their new stuff needs 4 months minimum, full dolls with faceups probably longer right now.

 

Just placed an order on Alice's for a Huajing 1/4 ver 4 girl body in Luts White! I also placed an order for the Muhan's Doll Yuna head

I am currently waiting for Ivar from BonBon Galaxy ordered on December 27, 2023 at ACBJD. I'm really, really looking forward to it when it happens.

 

I rambled about my orders in the previous thread but I see that has since been closed so updating here instead; I just noticed I've received a note that my Si Cang Ha head is on its way to me

That means after it I'm still waiting for Gangan Lucifer head wink version +Bonbon Galaxy body from MyDollection (I should probably poke them about it again, it's well past the estimate they gave me...) and Gem of Dolls' Nymph in tan which I just finished paying, hoping she'll arrive by my birthday in April.

Then I'll try really hard to only buy bodies for the heads without them which is hard since there's been so many absolutely gorgeous dolls lately and the sudden boom of mature MSD sized boy dolls is killing me. I've talked myself out of them all - so far. Hopefully I can keep it that way too since I really don't need more dolls, I should already sell off few as it is.

 

the mature MSD boys have been so tempting! I did order huajing Thorne so I’m currently waiting for him. I’ve seen pictures of the upcoming dollzone one and that one looks so good but definitely trying my best to hold off

 

My Si Cang Ha head arrived today! Here plopped on my Gem of Doll Bmoth's body, pleasantly surprised that the color match is so good, the boys will have to fight for this body until Ha gets his own one.

He'll also need his own wig and eyes, this is just so he isn't bald.

 

Hello, I would also like to buy Huajing's 1/4 uncle for a DF-H normal pink head, but I don't know which Huajing skin tone will match that soft normal pink. Could you tell me what shade you bought it in?

 

I bought it in the normal pink tone they list on Alice’s but they might be able to do a color match to some other doll brands! I recently ordered the huajing girl body and asked them to match it to Luts white. I recommend sending an email to the dealer you are using, since Huajing does seem to offer some color matching!

hello everyone! i ordered an artist doll Hati from project delta in October and I cant wait for them to arrive! The artist has been posting progress pictures on thier instagram and i can no longer contain my excitement. I ordered mine at the tail end of the preorder so i know mine will probably be last to arrive but its still exciting to see updates after a long wait

 

My Si Cang Ha also arrived this week!
He's so fun; I love him! Now if the weather will give me a day good enough to MSC him + a couple others.... :P

 

My Huajing body order just shipped - more or less exactly 4 months after ordering

 

Just got confirmation of my order from Alchemic Labo!! Should ship by mid-February, but I am using a shipping service (as AL only ships to Japanese addresses), and I won't have a shipping estimate from them until they get the doll.

Very excited, trying not to be too impatient, as this will be my first bjd!

My orders got from AL to the shipping service within a few days via Japan Post and then took around 10 days to EU with EMS from there (as I see you're in NL). So I assume it'll take around 2 weeks for you as well, in case it helps with impatientness a bit

DHL was estimating monday but my Huajing order came already todaaaay It was in transit for just a mere week (acbjd to eu) which is twice as fast as things usually come through so I'm really pleased even though the production time took twice as long as I thought it would.

I ordered an Unoa Chibi Lilin and an Unoa 01 Rowan Prim from Alchemic Labo (both in fairy skin) on 4 February. They'll be shipping to Tenso sometime this week, who will then forward them on to me. I'm pretty excited, and have big plans of doing their faceups (along with the blank Chibi Roron and Unoa Sist I've had for years).

I finally secured a Volks Yu Morisawa!! I'm so excited for this (new to me) doll!! She's the fullset and still has her eyes glued in -- I haven't decided whether I'm going to pop them out yet or not. Not that I know HOW to

 

I just got a shipping notification for my Monday/Qianhe Zhizhi! I didn't think she'd be ready this fast (I was expecting her at the earliest next month) but I am not complaining at all now we just hope that the shipping goes smoothly!

 

Got lucky and found a Batchix Mini Machina in a color I like (the purple) with one of my prefered faces (Blip, I don't care for Eta's pout.) Now I've just got to wait for her to ship, and in the meantime I'm browsing stuff for her and getting very excited for fixing her up into what I have planned.

 

I was just about getting ready to send an email to Alchemic Labo, along the lines of "is everything OK????", when I finally got a shipping notice! So excited for my Lusis to get here in the next few weeks!!!

 

Just pulled the trigger on a little iMda 1.7 Angie in NS. I was meaning to get a little iMda Angelique (probably 2.2) to be my travel dolly, and then iMda released Angie and she was even more perfect for that plan! I got her with a face-up and eyes and iMda quotes about 150 days for the manufacturing process, so I'm in for a wait. She's my first doll purchase since 2020!

 

I just bought a doll for the first time in a long time too!! First purchase since 2016. Been browsing for a while and ended up purchasing a Supiadoll Esther! Luckily my wait is only predicted to be about 90 days for manufacturing. What do you do while you wait for a new doll?

 

Aw, Supias are so pretty! I love how delicate the sculpting is on their bodies. Good choice to jump back in for, haha.

Hah, I don't know! Years ago I used to love sitting in these waiting rooms, but they don't seem to be so heavily used anymore since the chatty people moved to Discords. I also used to brainstorm a character for the doll and draw it a lot, or scour through all the places to buy clothes/accessories to make the *perfect* wardrobe for an existing character, but... this time I decided I didn't really want to make a specific character of mine. So it's gonna be a bit of a different waiting experience.

 

It's been a while and I forgot to update that I finally received my Saint in February! I'm looking forward to (slowly) working on him once the weather is more suitable for doing faceups. For now, he be a very blank and nakie boy I can already tell he's going to be a handful, aha.

 

Aaah Saint has always had such a distinct, unique face! And that hand detail is to die for, haha. I LOVE super detailed hands (and ironically, own no dolls with detailed hands...)

I did a sketch of my Angie's character. Looks like she's going to be a chibi version of an older character (well... relatively older, she's still probably a teen), rather than a child character like I first thought. I'm trying not to pile too many details on her to keep her open-ended for photos.

I think so! I made so many broomsticks for my toys when I was a kid, it just seems right, haha. I'll also have to figure out the witch hat. iMda 1.7 is such a weird little size (wellll... all iMdas are a weird size, but my 3.0 at least fits into YoSD dresses).

The first of the things I ordered for her came in today - tiniest wig I've ever owned!

Popping in to note that I ordered a Bonbon Galaxy body on the 15th from Alice's. The Legenddoll listing shows a 40-60 day wait and I hope it's true (but knowing my luck it'll get a lot longer from the time I ordered *shakes fist at doll karma gods*)

 

I also ordered it but on taobao! On bonbon's weibo they have some time estimates here for when they should come out but it might not apply to dealers.

One of my discord friends shared the news post about Mushroom Peddler's new preorder. Thank goodness she did, I've been following that doll's progress for a while now and I was really hoping to preorder her! Crystal looks so much like some kind of Jim Henson creature from the Dark Crystal era that I just had to snag her. I'm so excited!

 

Is this where the Huajing pre-order peeps hang out? I don't see a waiting room for Huajing.
Still waiting on my 1/4 special MSD girl body. I really, really, really hope it hybrids well with the head I have. The measurements are almost perfect.
