20–39cm Dolls A Doll Village Mystic Lola

I haven't made an arrival thread in ages, but since there's not a lot documented about this company yet I thought I'd make a post of my experience. I ordered their Mystic (Vampire) Lola in tan resin with vampire accessories- I also apparently qualified for a gift sleeping head AND gift hands, which I was very happy about.

I ordered on August 24th on a 3 month layaway- and after 4 months, she shipped on December 1st, and arrived December 8th via "SF Express" mail carrier- two days earlier than the ETA! In December!!! I ordered directly from the company via e-mail, but I would personally recommend going through a proxy like CloverSinging (as they do have a Taobao) for clearer communication and to save significantly on shipping costs.

Onto photos!


The boxes are very lovely! The art is super cute. Inside the small black box was the gift head, but I will come back to that in a moment.



Top of the box had my little shoes, a free sponge, her CoA envelope, and the vampire accessories on top!!! How cute! The little devil tail is killing me!! I was admittedly a little shocked (and also relieved) they didn't get snapped in transit laying on top like that, with how thin and long they all are.. I am counting my lucky stars!!!

The only downside about this purchase was that there are no magnets pre-installed on this body anywhere- nor did it come with extra companion magnets for the accessories to attach to. But I've seen this be the case with a lot of add-ons like this, and I can definitely have some spare magnets... Do you just hold another magnet on with putty on the body? White glue? Or should I permanently install magnets myself on the inside...? I guess I'll figure it out.



Here she is, almost unwrapped! The tan resin is very pretty and natural looking, and was only 10 extra usd.



Extra hands and eyes! Her pillow is a little zipper pouch with two additional pockets inside it, where these were hiding. Glad my roommate pointed them out or I woulda missed them haha. The hands look adorable with the pitchfork.







Here she is!!! Her sulky eye shape, upturned nose, full lips, and little fangs!! Chubby hands!!! B'awww!



And her sleeping head! (They're the same size, sorry one is closer)



Yeah the sleeping head is not a vampire head, so no elf ears or fangs- but I think with hair it'll be negligible in photos. It's absolutely darling.

Lastly- a dress up attempt! I sadly didn't have her wig or eyes acquired by this time, so I just gathered what I could to try on her. The outfit is her style at least!



Sulky!! She's cute in a bob though. My plans for her are something along these lines- I'm imagining dark brown ringlets and glossy gold eyes.

Thank you everyone for the kind words!! I hope to get her essentials this spring, the worst of the snow seems to have passed already so I might jump on her faceup soon. Perhaps I will update this thread with her wig/eyes and faceup when it's done!

The company has such a lovely array of sculpts in yosd and msd- and very cute anime-styled faces too. I hope they get more love and visibility!!
