Along came a serpent (Dream Valley Feathered Serpent Ehecatl)

When I became aware of this unique doll by Dream Valley there was no way I could have resisted! I mean, I love snakes and dragons, he looked amazing and I didn't own a bjd snake yet. And this one even has wings, can it get any better??
I have to warn you though that the photos sadly aren't the best. Due to bad lighting I had to use the flash.
And I didn't take as many photos as I could have, because I was so wrapped up in unwrapping! LOL Unpacking this work of art took me quite a while, over half an hour, all parts were wrapped really well and safely for the journey. But back to the start:






This is my first doll from Dream Valley, and I was really pleased by the quality. It was absolutely worth the wait and every penny! The doll is a beauty, and the blushing is done real well too.








It doesn't show in the photo, but the snake body is actually quite long, and heavy too for such a 'small' doll.
It's a bit fiddly to get him to 'stand' on his own with the snake body, I guess I need to practice a bit more.

Anyway, I'm really happy I allowed myself to get him, he's stunning.

He so does! All the scales on the body make it *almost* feel like handling a real snake. He's very much like I hoped him to be.

Heheh, I hope yours will arrive soon too! I'm very happy I ordered the blushing. It was a bit out of lazyness, but also because I don't have an airbrush and pastel blushing big areas isn't as lasting and doesn't look as cool. And also because I couldn't have done it as expertly as DV.

Thank you! I don't have any fixed plans for his face up yet. I usually just begin with a vague idea and see how it works or where it leads me.
