I had mine still on the default genderless sd13, but from what i remember i think it would fit well on sdgr

I actually just went and searched flickr, and theres some photos of Yugiri on SD16 girl

 

Yes that's the one sleeping sculpt I really loved of the Four sisters. I think she looked Kind of bad ass my self. She is my favorite 4 sisters sleeping sculpt. Nana is one of my fav 4 sisters too. She is the only one I kept out of the one 's I had.

I went again through some photos yesterday and I must admit I don't like SD13 for her. I most likely will end up getting SdGrG once I find it in a decent price. Thank you guys for your opinions

The outfits are cute but I think I'm safe too, although I do kind of want one of those Hot Spring sets and should really pick up a carrying case one of these days.
I'm really happy that VOLKS mentioned that the little caplet things are faux fur in the description. I guess they got sick of my constant e-mails about what materials stuff is made of.

@Chibi_Rat I am horrible with names! Really, there's some tiny wire in my head havent been wired properly. But I also get characters for my dolls later, takes months sometimes. I never have an exact image in my head when I order them, only after arriving I start to put the puzzle together.
Today is sunny first time in... 2 weeks? But I caught a cold, so me and Ryoma staying in. Of course it would happen like this May be gonna watch movie together and eat

 

Well, the November collection not having any boy clothes or shoes whatsoever means I get to keep my money for Christmas presents and booze. :3

Yes, I hate "5 minutes" rule! Of course, they all started to jump on during those very last 5 minutes.
I hope they will send him out soon! I don't know, why would they hold on him for so long, I'm sure there's thousands of items to store there anyway. Send my boy, free the space!

 

@Vanilla.Sky stringing a normal doll isn't so bad but I shudder at the thought of restringing an SDGou, all the extra joints makes me feel like I'd screw up somewhere important

@Chibi_Rat That Dollshe's doll I did string last time, was 35s dollshe. I don't know if you ever saw that body in person, they have some pix on their site for reference. Stringing that lego boy gave me a moral trauma, I think That's why I would prefer to do it not alone anymore

Help with body identification??? I have a WS (white) SDGr body that came with my Una (not her original body). I think Una came with the genderless tenshi SDGr body. Mine has a normal bust, same size as my Lorina. I think Alice came on this size body. Any others? Thanks!

 

@Eacretp, if it's a WS Graffiti girl body, it may be Sweet Dreams Nono from December 2011. Does it have that additional ball in the top of the neck?

 

I'm in love with the new November collection. Especially those fur capes.. oh lord. I'm in so much trouble. I need to save for Dolpa @-@ I also need that carrying case...

When I won my Suigintou, I couldn't believe it, my nerves were all over the place. It was NOT healthy xD I kept thinking of the worst case scenario even though I had no reason to >_< I was a wreck from the day I won the auction until she arrived home. Then I relaxed :P I hope your boy arrives super safe and fast!!

 

God. Yeah. I both hope I win and hope I do not at the same time. One-offs are so amazing though... it's worth it.

It can make things so tense but it also makes your victory sweeter!

I posted a pic of Una's body from her box opening. Hopefully this is helpful? I do agree with Beamlette, it's probably a Nono body from her release in 2011. It was limited but not uncommon and the bust size sounds correct too!

I also need to check Una's alternate legs but I don't think there is that joint or seam at the thigh close to the top? I am absolutely no expert and have never changed her legs so if someone else knows something I am missing- by all means! This could be completely normal for an older SDGr body. Anyone else know?

 

I have the Una body and there are no joints at the thighs :-) (Totally slipped my mind that SDGrGs came with two sets of thighs!)

I guess the only way to tell is by the neck joint and the yellowing of the body!

 

I think all SDGr girls come with this joint for flat legs. But I'm not sure about Tenshies. I use these parts of legs with high feet on my Lorina and Suigintou that I put on Creamy Mami body. I also have SDGrG Tae, but I didn't change her legs, so I don't remember if she have it, but I think she should.

 

She looks glowing I love that wig on her, it looks so soft!

 

I know she's not the SDGr tenshi. I think she's probably on the Nono SDGr body. Possibly Alice but I don't think so because she doesn't have the ball in the neck as my Lorina does.

 

Interesting... My Nono has the neck ball; I thought Volks got rid of the neck ball with Creamy Mami and Yu Morisawa in Dec. 2012. Alice, SwDr Nono and the Unas are the only WS Graffiti-body girls that I know of. Unless it's a One-off's former body?...

JennyNemesis, it's not, Hasekura is completely different, I think.... (mine isn't a good classic Hasekura indicator). If I'm not mistaken Alex is Kira boy from last year one-offs.

 

JennyNemesis - its been a long time since they released any modern boy clothing hasn't it?

Himitsu - there is something about dark hair and light eyes that I cant get over - Alex is very beautiful.

Eacretp - She is probably the winter smile sweet dream SDGR Nono. I had that doll as a fullset previously.

The missing neck ball joint isn't a problem. The ball in that joint can be removed, infact, I think my doll arrived with the neck ball packaged separately, or had an extra one in the package, either way, it was easily removable if you restrung her. You will know this if you notice the neck opening was shaped like a martini glass? a somewhat wide V shaped pit, It has enough of an opening to fit the ball joint inside whereas the newer SDGR girls do not have that ball joint so no need for the wide neck ball "nest" - I hope this makes sense?

That body also arrived with the extra thighs with the thigh joints, and the legs for the flat foot version, Im pretty sure she was on her high heel leg with the non thigh joint as a default.

 

Ah, a Kira boy! I thought he looked familiar. Something about the overbite and the chin made me think Hasekura. But now that I think of it of course the eyes are totally different.

Yeah, agreed. The last modern stuff I remember was released after Saito & Kondo which was, what? Spring 2014? It's been a long time.

 

On a previous topic from the other thread. While the faces themselves between the four sisters and the una haven't really changed, there are variations in the inside of the headcap and in the bodies on some of them. The swd kira is also unique from the swd una and has more upturned lips.

I've noticed that volks also does occasional updates and doesn't really tell anyone. For example the Oldskin Aya and Pureskin one off Aya I have are not identical in the interior of the head cap.

Very very soon! I was waiting on some airbrush cleaner to give her a new fresh faceup, and it arrived yesterday! I'm kinda sad I'm going to be removing her default face.. I don't know why, because I don't exactly like it, but I'm still nervous about it

I don't know if I mentioned this but I preordered tickets for Dolpa 34 and also snagged a carrier bag in khaki that will surely solve all my problems from now on. I can't wait until Volks releases info on any new limiteds for the Dolpa :')

 

I've got so much dolls just last week, one complete doll from Japan (F-32!!!!) and I got bodies for my SWD Kira and Sch C heads. I'm stufffffd, and I'm fine with it.

Hey, congrats! I love seeing other F-32s. It's one of those sculpts you don't really see everyday nad I really love the eye color you picked. Here's my Madoka! I started with her in 20mm and went up to 22mm Zouks. With her original color (green) and size she tended to look very startled to me? I am happier with the larger size for her character.



Randomly has anyone heard about lottery results from the Nov Outfit set? I entered for everything that is up and being sold on the site- I still got what I wanted, I just think it's odd to enter the lottery, not win anything and then have those items being sold online after the event ends? Interested in other people's thoughts on this....

 

@nakitaninja hehe, your girl is super pretty too! I actually checked your pictures when I was choosing the eye size and I did go for the 22mm but they didn't have them in the color I would've wanted. But yeah, things like this happen. I like mine a bit cross-eyed, I love them derp. XD

I also thought about the Volks thing a little more and I guess they only do one drawing and everything else is simply released to the public without another redraw for people who entered for the same item. Good to know, I suppose!

Oh, I don't know anything else except she's for D23 at Disney in Japan. Sorry, I wish I knew more. I think the general consensus is that she is PS White Belle. Really lovely costuming too!

Yes, that's Kasumi! I think that they announced Pure Skin Bisque a while back (new material for SD that theoretically feels similar to porcelain?) and I know people who attend special events can be entered to welcome a Kasumi. I think there are already several owners in Japan as I remember seeing their pics online. I believe each Kasumi is different as well and unique.

I think the retail begins at USD 2,300 to welcome her? I'm unsure about exact prices but I do know she is very expensive to welcome.

I only know what I've read and heard on the forums but I hope it is helpful.
