I kind of missed out on taking a Venitu picture on Halloween.
It's a grey November day, a perfect day to stay in and get cozy with a good book. No such luck resting in bed!

 

Hi Guys, I just got this body for my guy and I love the shoulders but it makes me think not everything fits him.
where do you guys buy your clothes?
what fits and looks good?
I can't sew my own stuff yet so :P
Plz help ^^

I heard someone say that SID tshirts fit. Does EID stuff fit too?
and do normal SD pants work?

 

My guy is currently wearing Iplehouse clothes: an SID T-shirt with a long sleeve shirt underneath and EID jeans. SID long sleeve shirts are short and don't reach all the way to the wrist. Solution for the short long sleeve shirt is either fold sleeves up or scrunch it up to look like he pushed up his sleeves. He is currently wearing EID model size blue jeans. They are great length wise but a little big around the waist but if he wears a belt it's fine. Even without the belt the pants do not slide down his legs.

I don't have any other outfits yet but I've seen a blog that talks about clothes that fit the timeless body. Here is the link to the blog that names clothes that would fit: Venitu Outfits from M3 Bjd Review

The EID tops look to fit - it just the shirt slopes past the shoulders while SID shirts fit the form of shoulder nicely. Attached is a link to a photo on flickr that shows a handsome Goowha on Timeless body wearing a EID button shirt (look at how fabric sits on his shoulders) Fifth Motif GooHwa
The good news is because fabric goes past shoulder the shirt reaches his wrist. I'm not sure if that works out for all of the EID shirts with sleeves.
I personally would not mind it if clothes were baggy, big, or hanging off my guy because I think it's cute.

I am very happy to help you. I also just found a flickr page that talks about Freedom Teller clothes on the Timeless body. Here is a link to that too. Dollshe Craft & 5th Motif (you have to scroll down past a lot of pictures but this lovely person does talk about how clothes fit which I thought was really useful.

Woo! Hello everyone! I just put my Venitu on layaway and am expecting him in a month or two, depending on finances. I've been combing through the discussion threads (the first one appears to have disappeared, oh no!) looking for clothes fit, wig fit, eyes, shoes, you know, all those normal things. I've been gathering that EID model pants fit pretty alright and it seems like almost all long sleeve shirts aren't quite long enough. I haven't found any word on shoes though (I may have missed it, to be honest). Wigs I am reading 7/8, I believe? Eyes 12mm, generally, but can go smaller?

Been checking out everyone's gorgeous guys and I have to say, they are all just breathtaking. I can't wait to get mine in and get him made into some sort of amazing. Thankfully I have an EID I am rehoming, so some of his old items will be going to the Venitu, of who's name will be Levi. His stuff is all Super Hero sized of course, so we're going to cinch up a belt until I can egt model doll stuff. 8D Ahaha!

Anyone know how Dollshe Hound clothing items fit? Or SSDF?

 

update from Cho on FB: he's bringing out new hands for our guys this month. he said earlier that Dollshe would cast his work, but not sell them on their site. but, no final word on that.
+ there will be a new girl doll soon.

I'm still searching for a body for my Venitu head and I suspect it will take me quite while before I find one. I had to be difficult and get him in pale tan...

 

I saw that yesterday. I wonder how will be these new hands but I'm sure to order them ! Love the hands of my Venitu.

New Hands??? How exciting! I thought Cho was out of doll making completely. Venitu Hands are like artwork….they seriously have to be the most beautiful hands I have seen sculpted…..but new ones sound so cool!….

There is mention of a doll head too, as well as a Girl doll, and the hands are a "4 hand set"….This is so exciting!!

@Pathy - That little puppy is so cute! I know the hands for the Timeless body are huge, but wow, seeing them with the puppy like that is insane! I love these hands so much.

From left to right: The first pair "Intelligence"….there is a gap in the fingers to allow for holding either a pen/cigarette
2nd Pair "Manners", 3rd pair "Leadership", 4th pair "Making Love"…..it's for placing his hands on his "Paramour" behind the neck and on the hips.

 

Oh wow! I thought 4 new hands meant four singular hands, but these look amazing! I want them already!

 

I know what you mean….I thought the same as you ( 4 individual hands) but these are actually "4 Sets" of hands…..They are Marvelous!

They're great! I hope he'll sell them via Etsy as some other companies do. I'll have to postpone my next doll purchase till I know what his plans are for 2016. I've been hankering for a female doll. I wonder what he means by 'girl', does he mean a 65cm woman or a 45cm one?

 

I'm happy to help ….I know sometimes there is a glitch in FB pics, sometimes if you are not on FB you can't see the pics, but this was such a surprise from Cho, that I thought I should share with the Fifth Motif owners……

What can I say, I wan't all of them! lol!….Fifth Motif hands are simply gorgeous to begin with. Now they come with all these new expressive possibilities.

I'm curious about the girl doll mentioned as well, and another head being offered……OMG! I hope it's another head for the Timeless body. It seems by the tone of the post that we won't hear/see anything until the next year for those 2 items....but the hands can easily tide me over until we see/hear more.

Soooo awesome! I had been a little regretful that I had not purchased the extra pair of hands when I bought my Venitu. But this makes up for it! I think the pair on the left, especially, will be more useful to me than the original extra hands. I wonder if he will also sculpt a miniature pen or pencil for it?

 

Those hands are amazing! I'm definitely going to be adding them to my collection - extra pose hands are my favourites.

Cannot explain my excitement for those hands. I'm sure everyone understands. I LOVE it when companies make stuff for existing dolls. Especially Fifth Motif!

If my memory serves me right, the girl doll he is talking about will be an anime/cartoony looking MSD sized doll. He's spoken about it before. It won't be in the same vein as the timeless body boys.

@Botflybaby , well, it is a bit of a relief in a way. I'll still buy the extra hands and probably the new head if I like it enough.

 

okay i searched through his facebook and found two mentions of the girl doll. it doesn't confirm an anime style, but does confirm her being MSD sized and not realistic. i get the impression she is going to be a sexy kind of doll, since he uses the word "naughty" to describe them, lol.



i'm curious about the price of the new head for the timeless body, since he said it will be good, and in other comments i've seen he's said he made it as a thank you to current owners and wanted to only sell it to people who had bought dolls from him before (hence the part about keeping your certificates, so he can check who he's selling to.)

 

Hmmmm. I wonder if he will sell it to second owners of the doll. I do have the body's certificate and the original owner's receipt of the head...

 

LoL! I can see that! He does sometimes seem to look tired or just plain old tied up.(depending on the pose that I got him into)

That's a really really good question because I bought my Venitu from the DoA marketplace. I do have the certificate for him to prove that he is legit but I hope I will be able to buy hands in Honey Skin Peach Fresh resin since that is what my guy is.

 

So, I was prowling Instaram browsing some Venitu goodness and came by this eyes. Does anyone know which company made this? My guess is it's Eyeco but I'm not so sure :/

I've been eyeing Venitu for a long time now, too. But don't want to buy dolls right now... He's not one of those dollshe dolls that get sold out permanently right?

Btw, all you Venitu owners, what bodies do you use? Is his head too small for a 70cm body? Because that what I'd like to go for.

All I can say it was tough finding a Venitu to buy and it sounds like he might be limited again (not sure about that because maybe Mr. Cho might sell Venitu on his own - apart from Dollshe)?

My Venitu is on a 70cm Timeless body.

 

@Charm505 Thanks for info Well currently dollshecrafts is selling the head of venitu for 200$ + the resin choise.
But full doll venitu or the timeless body is marked as "sold out". So I hope the head won't be marked the same too soon maybe I should ask on their q&a

Sounds like Dec. 30th is the deadline and I think Dollshe does layaway if you don't have the funds to pay all upfront. Hope that helps you

 

They are receiving orders on Venitu full dolls by email only until the current silicon molds get sued up. Contact them via community Q&A forum or the Dollshe webmaster email.

 

Is it only the full dolls? Because I'd like to try and get my Venitu head a body... I'm going to send them an email and check.

 

oh my, that early as 30th of this month... I guess I have to pass Venitu then... Or get him on layaway. This is so tricky since I really wanted to spend money on my already existing dolls instead again bying a new doll - but Venitu is darn gorgeous.

So I don't see why they wouldn't let us buy the body separately.

Hahah ha .. been so busy with my real girls lately, I just assumed Venitu was a sold out doll I could only find secondhand >< I'm really happy I found this thread in new posts yesterday! Then today lol I hadn't subscribed and was trying to find it by 'Fifth Motif' *facepalm* I am so bad with searches. I emailed Dollshe yesterday and just in case found the Q&A and asked again.

I hope everyone gets the body for their ordered head too!

I sent an email to Mr. Dollshe in friday, but until now no response ((( Is it normal? Did he answered to anybody at these days?

 

DollShe normally take a couple of days to reply because they have their emails professionally translated. I'm eagerly awaiting a response from them as well.

 

It usually takes 2 to 3 business days, so longer response time over a weekend. But they have answered every time that I emailed them.

 

I wrote last week and this morning I got a reply from "Mr. Kim the webste manager of Dollshe Craft" about the large volume of order inquiries they've received lately and reply is being delayed and asking for patience and understanding...

I sent one Friday and still haven't got an email from them. I'm afraid mine got lost in all the order inquiries so I sent another one. I hope I get a reply eventually.
