Dose anyone have any Daniel boy spam due to l'm liking him and l think he would fit into the house hold. I can't make up my mind if l want him in pink skin or yellow skin. I wonder witch one is normail skin.

De-lurking to say how beautiful everyone's dolls are! elly, where did you get your wig for Beth? It's really stunning.

I've been trying for months and months to find mature looking shoes for my 5StarDoll Elva, whose name is Layla, but her feet are SO BIG LIKE OH MY GOODNESS.

But I finally found some at DDE that fit! They're the TH03a Victoria Shoes shoes from Ruby Red Galleria. They ended up fitting beautifully and don't look big!

Does anyone else know what other brands of shoes fit? I'm not talking about the big clunky converses, though.

 

Love the Chu sculpt. I have Jessica on order from DDE. I know it's not their fault, but it's been two and 1/2 months - and I ordered her without face up. They said they are the longest shippers - but that doesn't help my frustration.

Heya! Does anyone happen to have a more recent white 5star boy and a recent white DollZone mini head? I want to know if the resin match works. Any DZ mini head on a 5SD boy body would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to find a good body for my floating head and 5SD is in my price range. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the male body proportions will work, since the listed measurements are very similar to the AoD boy body, which does work with hybrids.

I wanted to hybrid a B body with another company's head but as it turns out, they don't make it anymore! Such a shame!!! The B Body is the best for posing. It's better than my minifee body or any other body I've ever owned or held. I'm sad. I was looking forward to it.

 

It looks like all the 1/4 size is being listed as sold out. Does anyone know if they are stopping the 1/4 line?

 

I dunno, Kynthiamoon. It kind of seem that way. They've discontinued some of their tiny sculpts as well, so I'm not sure what they're up to...

Can anyone help me with a size comparison? I want to see what a Ji head (or any 5StarDoll mini girl head) looks like on their 1/3 body. Thanks!

Hi, I'm just popping in to ask if anyone here knows if 5stardoll 1/4 girl bodies can hybrid well with any other company's heads. I have a Chu girl myself, whom I got as a gift, and I struggle a bit with bonding to her, so I was considering if maybe a different head would turn things around. Especially if there's any 7-8in size heads that would work well, that would be lovely, since some unique wigs I'm dying for are only available in that size ^^' . I'd consider getting a different 5stardoll head for her, but it looks like they've dropped the line and don't sell heads separately in the first place, which is a bummer.

This thread seems to have quieted down a bit, though with 5Stardoll new doll Mu Ran, I'm thinking it might pick up again.

I understand why 5stardoll has taken away their earlier dolls, Mu Ran looks so different in style and I think his look would appeal to more people that weren't interested in 5Stardoll before.

I've liked their earlier dolls but have never bought one though I'm excited to see what they will design next or if they will have similar features to the older sculpts.

 

I saw the new MSD and I absolutely love him! I'm curious though, can someone tell me if 5SD uses traditional/urethane resin or french/eco resin?

 

I liked the old styling a lot with the slightly more mature but still teenage sculpts. I think the new look is a lot more generic compared to what we already see in the market but I think they did a good job either way.

I have to say I'm disappointed they never addressed the hand sculpt. I always find it a little disturbing how small their hands are even tho I love my Nigel boy and girl.

I'm getting a Chu from the market place, she'll be a twin to my Dikadoll AAAAA on a boys body named Rory after Rory Williams. Her name will be Amelia, Amy for short because of Amy Pond. Does anyone know who close Dikadoll pink normal and 5star white match up. It looks pretty close to me.

 

The old white looks a bit paler than the Dika pink, 5-stars new white is a very stark white and doesn't match at all. I can take pics tomorrow if you're interested.

 

That would be great! My Dikadoll is pink normal and I was just curious how close a match they'd be.

Ok this is my Dika doll Alder in pink normal with my Ji in white, she's a couple years old now, but she really hasn't yellowed in my opinion. My last order from 5star came with some very stark white dolls, definitely a different shade, but the older white is a pretty close match with some blushing. not perfect, but I wouldn't mind it for hybridizing.

She's here and she's much more elegant and mature than I expected! This is just temp wig and eyes, I'm getting her a red wig and blue eyes. She's also getting freckles.

So I had a little trouble finding who she was, Amy didn't feel right. I had a couple ideas but I figured her out tonight! Her name will be Chiyoko which means/uses the charcters for thousand, generation, and child so Child of a Thousand Generations. She will be named this because she will be a kitsune! Kimono, and tail and she's already happier!

 

Just popping in with me and Layla (Elva). She makes a PERFECT mini-me!

 

This is my Aiden, His name is Pariah. I'have had him for like..a year now? I didnt know if anyone had posted about a Red Aiden yet since they only made 100 of them, I thought people might be interested in them ^^ He's one of my favorite dolls in my doll family!

Guess who finally got sent off for a face up!!! I was finally able to send Chiyoko off to Finley. I am beyond pleased! This is just a quick pic to make sure everything was good before she glossed and the like, but look!!!

What a lot of cuties here I just received my first 5star doll, a grey second hand Ji that was a total impulse buy... and I love her! She's bigger than I expected but so darn pretty! She need ALL (she borrowed clothing and wig from my other dolls) especially a wig that doesn't make her look greenish. I was thinking about a lilac wig, maybe a mohair one.
