Im waiting on Meng Meng ordered through Clover-Singing on May 22.

 

I’m waiting for Grape and Almond and they are on the way!!

 

Haha sad I was too late for this waiting room, from my experience 2d doll takes a while, but mine was just held up waiting for the fullset outfit

 

Ordered a 2D Doll Kiwi and a 2D Doll 60cm Girl Body w/ Clover Singing sometime in April. I gotta look at the exact date.

Really? I've ordered last year a 2D Doll Cream with Jointed Hands and Heel Feet in Light Tan with clover-singing. They finished manufacturing him in 4 months!

 

In my case they had an issue with the person sewing the clothes. Held up the process by about 3 months. Took about 7 months total

 

I'm waiting on a 2D Miren ordered on May 1 through Clover Singing.

 

Oh 2D finally got its own waiting room. For those wondering about wait times, I ordered 2 blank dolls early April and got a shipping notice from my dealer several days back.

 

My dolls arrived yesterday. I was going to try and do a box opening thread for once, but they were so tightly strung, I ended up panic unstringing them on the spot. I mean the company already uses such thick, heavy duty elastic for their tinies that the high tension they had on them just seemed like overkill.

So now, both of my dolls are in pieces until I can overcome my laziness and hot glue suede and restring them. Somehow me getting a doll always ends up in it getting immediately pulled apart.

 

I would love to see pictures when you get him!

 

Yeah for sure! There aren't a lot of pictures of Miren from private owners out there.

Clover-Singing is running a 40% off promotion on 2D Doll right now, there are about 10 days left in the 2-week promotion period. I ordered the 68 cm body that I've had my eye on for the last few weeks. I was ready to pay full price, but luckily I came across some of the threads on here that mentioned Clover-Singing's history of offering excellent sales on 2D, so I was able to wait and get an amazing deal! Current production time estimate is 4 months.

 

I'm waiting for Taroball and fufu, ordered on September 11 and 21. Both dolls are blank with no additional add-ons.
I'm hoping it would arrive before Christmas *fingers crossed* but now that I'm here I think it'll probably arrive next year.

 

I recieved my Grape White head today. I got a resin matched body from DF-H.

 

How long does it take for a 1/3 doll with face up ?

 

I ordered my 2D Miren with company face-up in April of this year, and I received him 4 months later. Pretty quick turn around time.

So I am parking my butt right back in here. For various financial reasons I had to sell my Grape hybrid and really regret it. I am ordering through Clover for that nice discount. Getting the exact same combination as last time.

 

My order was shipped on 22nd December 2020, and it finally arrived today 6th January 2021!

Clover Singing is currently running a 40% off promo on 2D Doll. The shipping will be slower than what Alice's Collections uses, but Alice's never offers that big of a discount on 2D Doll. I've had good experiences with both dealers, but I always recommend doing your own research on a dealer you haven't used before prior to placing an order with them.

 

Great, thank you! I've never heard of them but I'll do some research now. Do they often have sales this high? I'm not sure I can make the initial payment in the next 4 days, and I think that's how long the sale is.

 

Prior to the current 40% promo, there was one last September, so there will probably be another one in the future. However, I'm not sure how long it will be before that happens.

2d Lan (Aaron) arrived today! I didn't expect him, I didn't get an email from acbjd and only today did I receive a notification something was arriving by DHL, since I have several other dolls on the way and I didn't expect him yet I was pretty surprised when I opened the box and saw his photo! It's pretty interesting since it's also my son's 16th birthday so it's like I got a gift on his birthday .. it was a great day anyway we went out to eat and stuff and then this evening as I was winding down figuring out some stuff with my cat, my youngest son brought me this giant box. I am so excited to finally have him. Two things that I am aware of now, "normal pink" is pretty pale...and also his hands and feet are so detailed his whole body actually is and he is really big the biggest doll that I have.

 

It seems my body is already at newcloversinging and they are about ship it out. Wha. This is fast. Fingers crossed it will reach me without issues

 

Ordered Kong 17/08/2020 and recieved him at 11/12/2020. Pretty fast! I've heard waiting time for 2D doll is always like 3-4 months.

 

I inquired at clover singing about wait times and Christina said 2D is averaging 4-5 months right now. Congrats to everyone getting their dollies sooner

 

I finished paying off Bunny (pink) and LengLeng (yellow) in February; and now we wait~

Congrats to anyone who received their dolls early! I'm expecting my babies around June. That's lots of time to find them eyes and their first outfits.

Does anyone know the width of eyes on their larger eye'd 1/4 dolls? Like Bunny, CaiCai, Strawberry, Helios, Momo and Kiwi? I have some nice 14mm ones for LengLeng which should work given how narrow her eyes are, but I'm having trouble planning ahead for Bunny.

 

Ordered myself the Sunny-head, which I'm hoping to hybrid with a DZ-body so I hope you don't mind me joining you guys. ^_^

Been waiting on a Caicai boy since 4/7. My first doll after leaving the hobby for 10 years. Have many plans! Going mentally deranged! Going brainless! Going wacky! Going positively bonkers!

 

Ordered Jan 17, received a shipping notice today!

I am hoping the pink skin I get will be a little darker than some of the more recent examples

 

Ordered Jan 15th or so and got a shipping notice several days back.

 

I received CaiCai today!

Some impressions: She is quite tall, but all her extra height is in the shins. I absolutely love how curvy the body is--she might be a nightmare to dress The resin is quite a light pink after all. She came with eyes and extra 'heart' hands which are adorable and a nice surprise.
Her posing is kind of limited, she cant fold her legs under, and its a struggle to make her touch her face. BUT when you pose her, she stays in that pose like a champ. I was able to make her stand up while her torso was at a 70 degree angle forward.
Also, she has zero seam lines!

For others who ordered with Clover singing....Yanwen shipping doesnt seem to be trackable. The status never updated for me on their website or USPS. She showed up out of the blue with a return address to some guy named Gary in California. Sketchy.

 

WHOAAA @Cydril she's cute as heck!!! I'm currently waiting on a Caicai boy so it'll be fun to compare. I'll have to take pics and post them too when he gets here. It's so cool to see owner photos of the sculpt! Looks like it will work for the character I have in mind after all.

I'm currently waiting on a Long Yue. She's my first 2D so I'm not sure what to expect and I couldn't really find many owner photos. I took a gamble on her anyway because I fell in love with her company photos.

 

Congrats! This makes me excited, I ordered about 2 weeks after you so hoping for something in the next 3 weeks. Although I ordered 2 dolls so that can changes things.

just received my shipping notice for caicai today!!! i ordered april 7, so that was only 2 months and 20 days?! i completely wasn't expecting it, but what a lovely surprise!!!

 

I also my order was shipped!! No notification but I checked my account. Ordered Bunny and LengLeng Feb 4th, shipped June 22 so just under 5 months, with 5 being the advised time so I'm happy.

I ordered it in march and paid it off in april so that notification came sooo much faster than I ever expected! Last payment is in as of early April. Now the waiting...

Didn't know there was a waiting room for 2D Doll either! Just updated the waiting list with a previous order that I've already received for waiting time reference and my current order.

I ordered a 1/3 SY body through Clover Singing back in 1 Sept 2021 and it was shipped on 20 Nov 2021 via EMS, I received it on 30 Nov 2021.

Then I ordered.... three dolls with faceup from the discontinuation event through Legend Doll on 31 Dec 2021. (They somehow ended up being the cheapest of the three 2D Doll dealers, the other two being Clover Singing and Alice's Collection, even though I have to pay shipping.) I ordered a 1/4 Kiwi, 1/4 Colin and 1/3 Miu.

 

Just received my first ever bjd from them today I ordered 1/3 Shaya on 11/12/2021 through Alice’s Collections from the discontinuation event, got a shipping notice on 22/04/2022 and arrived on 04/05/2022 to the UK.

 

Well, from the message I just got from Legend Doll, it sounds like the order I made through them is ready but they are unable to ship it at the moment as they are in an area under lockdown... orz

It's been a month since Legend Doll said they've received my order but are unable to ship it due to lockdown... Just sent them an email asking for updates. They replied almost immediately and said they'll ship in early July. Hope this is true!

 

Hope things work out so your doll ships soon! I'm waiting for a doll from a different company but most likely from the same area and yeah. Hoping that logistics and other factors are going in a good direction.

 

OK. I need to spend more time on the Clover-Singing website. I could have saved at least $80.

 

Well, my order has finally shipped after I contacted Legend Doll again today asking when it will be shipped. They shipped it immediately after my inquiry... which is good, but I'm also slightly annoyed that I had to chase them before they actually shipped even though they said they would ship in early July.

And I guess the good news is that they responded quickly and that they shipped via SF Express which is way better and quicker than EMS from China.

(Also annoyed that they had initially said another order I have with them would be shipped in early July as well, but then when I asked them about that as well, they said the faceup for that doll isn't ready yet??)

Edit: Actually, the tracking numbers don't work yet... ('Numbers' as I ordered three dolls and they separated them into three packages.) I guess I'll give it a day before checking again.

Edit edit: The tracking numbers work now! SF Express is usually pretty quick over here, so hopefully they will be here soon!

 

Well, one of my three dolls has arrived quite suddenly! It was Colin!

When I checked the SF Express tracking yesterday, it did say one of my three packages have arrived but couldn't be delivered due to the weekend and would be delivered on the next working day. But then it was suddenly delivered this morning (a Sunday)!

Kind of feel bad that maybe the delivery person had to do overtime??

According to the tracking, the other two have arrived at the local sorting centre and should be delivered tomorrow (Monday).

Anyway, that was 4-5 days in transit compared to at least 2 weeks by EMS China! It's slower than the speed in which I get SF Express packages from Alice's Collections. I usually get them in a day or two from Alice. (One time, she sent me a package in the morning and I got it on the same afternoon!!) But Alice is also located much nearer to me than Legend Doll. I just checked Legend Doll's location and they are basically on the other side of China from me!

(And no, despite Alice being categorised as being in Hong Kong on the DoA wiki, they are not in Hong Kong. I am in Hong Kong. The packages are definitely from Mainland China. Can't remember the address on my Alice packages by it was not a Hong Kong address. Maybe they are registered in Hong Kong and deliver from a warehouse in China?)
