40–49cm Dolls 2D doll Purple box opening

The doll I ordered on 02/02/22 has arrived!
There didn't seem to be many photos of this sculpt so I thought I'd post a box opening here.

Purple is by 2D doll and was ordered through Alice's Collections using their layaway system. I really liked the soulful looking face and elf ears of this sculpt. She is planned to be a sister to Trinary, my Resinsoul Mei doll.

She is really cute : ) and the posing is good! It's going to be a bit before I get to her faceup done but will post pictures when I do.

Her arm joints fit into the torso piece very well and hold where they are placed right out of the box. She leans back a little when she sits, but the body is a two-part torso so that can be adjusted to compensate. The knee joints have a kneecap piece with a ridge that locks against the upper thigh piece when the leg is bent- can be seen in action in the last photo. Ankle joints have a good range of motion, the slot at the top of the joint shows when toes are pointed down. Wrist joints are tiny but have a good range of motion and stay where posed. Neck joint on the body side has a slot that lets her head tilt very far forward and backwards- but that also means any twist in her vertical stringing can make her head tend to pull to one side sometimes. The stringing is done with nice thick elastic cording and is at just the right tension.

 

The artist and the casters did a really good job and I'm really happy to have her : )
