      Briefly describe your entry's concept:
The elevator doors open. All you see is darkness. You look up and down the hall, left to right, even at the ceiling. Nothing but a dark, abandoned hotel floor. Then you hear it. A tiny voice. "hahahaHA!" it laughs. You feel a poke to your shin and look down. Looking up at you is the unluckiest mouse (?) you've seen...She's broken, like a mirror. Her eye (sockets) are endless black pools, frame in scratches and blood. She grins, her fangs poking out. In her squeaky voice, she screams "I'VE. GOT. YOUR. TOOOOE!!" as she grabs your foot, dragging you down the hallway!

For this entry, I took inspiration from several sources. Originally, I began developing the idea from the CreepyPasta SuicideMouse.avi. The bloodied eye sockets come from the fan art of this story. I decided I wanted her to be less depressing and more fun. As I worked on her, adding the 13 and cracks on her forehead to symbolize bad luck, the black paint and watercolor against the grey resin reminded me of my favorite childhood books, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. In the end, I combined elements of Scary Stories, SuicideMouse.Avi and DoA's 13th anniverary to complete her.

      Briefly describe your entry's concept:
I've always been fascinated by 'monsters' who are not only odd and scary but have a certain type of 'glamour'. So basically eldritch creature who spends hours in front of the mirror, prettying itself up and was prolly very excited to see you enter the 13th floor. There's tea and scones waiting and they have a really cute crab that snuggles up to you. The staff is honestly just glad that someone else entertains their resident being (you find a very pretty shell as a thank you for not hightailing it out, screaming, when you get to your own room tho).

      Briefly describe your entry's concept:
Fear manifests the most terrifying of monsters. My concept for the 13th floor, was to depict that our mind is often the source of our deepest fears. Perhaps what makes the 13th floor so terrifying, is that we can all imagine this secluded place where we are trapped. Each one of us able to create our own terror. I modded the doll's forehead and "mind" to literally morph into a terrifying vision of death.

    17. Briefly describe your entry's concept:

350.000 persons suffer from depression worlwide. This is 5% of human population.
In highly developed countries it's even more common, 1 of 10 US adults had at least one major depression episod in last year.
80% of individuals affected by depression do not receive any treatment.
Every day millions of people go work looking normal, you pass them on streets, see tham in elevators and have no qlue about the scream insde their heads.

13th floor is a space for their suffering souls, where they can be free and speak loudly about the problem, not pretending life full of fake smiles and colorfull successes.

      Briefly describe your entry's concept:
This theme actually fitted one of my floating heads perfectly, as his character is a wendigo who terrorised the guests of an old hotel and was brought out to an isolated town for his own safety and the safety of others. This was an excellent opportunity to actually give him a face up after so many years of waiting.
