kiradyn_rhiode - I don't have any, but I can get some for you sometime today...just gotta charge my camera batteries. XD; Mine is indeed NS and the body is from 2007 (I'm not sure if the color has changed much since then XD; ).

He is WS on a Type 3 CP body (The Bloody Valentine BW version...which I do NOT suggest. The way it was cast... It is lighter than some MSDs, and is very 'grainy'. It seems almost like they watered down the resin mixture.).

Thanks for the pictures!! :3 Is the body really 60cm as they say it is on the site? Somehow, he doesn't seem so big (or perhaps it's because he's skinny?) which is what I'm looking for.

 

You're welcome. ^^ I actually just measured it with the Nanu08 head, and it looked to be 59.5cm. XD

 

so i just realized that i've not posted an updated picture of idyllwylde...she now has her own wig and a 2nd faceup. still no body (waiting to see if fairyland releases a 60cm body or not...*hopes*) or permanent eyes, but still pretty!

thanks psychoticelflet! they really are a chameleon mold. the first time we were both at a meet was the first time i'd even seen another one and wasn't 100% that sillladyfae's boy was a nanu at first. no one could believe they were the same mold!

She's on just a head stand I made out of sculpey there, but her delf girl body should be here any day now.

 

Kittywolf13 - I love the Nanuris, they're all so cute. x3 I really like how all the released Nanus look different, but have something similar about them.

Such lovely Nanu's!! Definitely one of my most favorite molds!! I am so glad that I decided to keep mine, I'm even tempted to get another one! I love that Fenris has a Nanu too, it's always loads of fun to set them together at meets ^_^

Thank you, I'm about to redo his face. (i got alot better *laugh*) but I'll still be keeping the calmness. The char hes based on is very much timeless so I wanted him to have that patience, But I will let you know he can SMIRK. His brows are painted a symetrical for that reason, one side is just a bit more arched twards the outter corner. which gives him a look of a raised brow of interest. So thats a good way to "fake" a smirky look. then from another side (like this one) its hidden

Reviving the thread... Has anybody tried this head on a 2010-2013 feeple60 muscular boy body? Would the neck be too large?

 

I just bought this beautiful head second-hand; does he/she fit on the newer Fairyland F60 girl bodies?

 

I don't know if you're still on DoA, but I have a non-muscular 2012 FL body I could try mine on. Let me know if you're still on DoA and still wondering.

Many of the pics in this thread are dead links. Does anyone still have one on a FDoll boy body, and if so, mind posting nude pics of yours? I'm interested in making mine into Kyo from Loveless someday.

I think the old neck turnkey (is there an official name for it?) is a bit bigger than the ones that the new Fairyland girl heads use. I've tried my F60 Shushu head on my Nanuri 08's body, and the turnkey was too big for her to fit onto it. Not sure if the reverse hybrid would work, but it's something to consider I suppose.

For reference, my Nanuri '08 is on a modded Luts SDF Type 1 girl body, and the proportions are great! His face is really small even compared to newer Feeple heads, so I think girl bodies in general work well.

 

Thank you for that info, @Serraphym, but Kyo is going to be a boy. I wonder if I can use a turnkey for a FDoll body? I know you can buy the turnkey separately.

I'm also guessing that, if I put him on a FDoll boy body, I'm might have to make him more like a Type 1/regular BJD with the neck donut. I'm okay with that too.

I have my Juri A on a turn key on an FDoll body and it works just fine.

Aaaaaand, I am getting a Nanuri 08 as soon as the lockdown in Spain will allow it to be mailed!
I am making mine into a girl. I just need to figure out a good body for her. I have some Luts hands in the new peach color on order, so we will see if that might be a decent match color wise for her.

 

@Tonboko congrats on your Nanuri '08! Hopefully you'll be able to have it soon!

My Nanuri 08 is on the FDoll boy body with a neck donut but I don't see why the turnkey wouldn't work. His neck is already pretty long, and the turnkey would make it even longer. That is the only thing that would make me, personally, hesitate to use the turkey mechanism.

 

Did you get a FL turnkey or a 3D printed one? If you got a 3D printed one, where did you get it from? I need to add the website to my phone's notepad so I can remember where to go when the time comes.

Oh, and do any of you mind posting a pic of your NaNuRi or Juri head on the FDoll boy body? I'd love to see what they looks like, both clothed and nude. I remember reading that the resin matches pretty well. Thanks!

I will try as soon as I can. I just had surgery today, so it will be the weekend at least before I can take new photos, but I will get them for you as soon as I can. I have the smaller Luts Nanuri 07 head that might give you a better idea of how the FL 08 will look since the Luts 07 is a bit smaller.

If I think it will end up taking me too long, I can try to summon @Pandy over to help.

I don't have any new, unclothed pics but here is an old pic of mine on the fdoll body. I tend to take a lot of headshots and don't have many full body pictures. I need to work on that.



I desperately need to restring my boy's body. He's got a different faceup now and a whole different wig and character so he doesn't really look like this anymore.

 

Thanks a bunch, @malvinas, your boy looks great! If you decide to restring your boy, mind taking a couple of snaps as to how the neckhole and head fits together, and resin matching? Full body nuce pics are wonderful, @malvinas, and I bet your boy has a pretty sweet body! Oh man, that sounded better in my head.

Honestly everyone, any and all Luts/CP-FDoll hybrid pics for either Juri or NaNuRi would give me an idea as to how they would fit and look together. Any help would be greatly appreciated and added to my notes.

Well, tracking says she is still in customs in Spain, but tracking LIES!
She arrived here today!
I ordered eyes for her a few days ago because it was the perfect color and they were down to only a few pairs left, but now I am worried I should have gotten a larger size... I contacted the seller to see if I can change my order. Fingers crossed!

Not much to see here yet. I started drafting her wig pattern. Her eyes are on the way. They cleared customs over the weekend, so I hope they will be here at some point this week. She will have to wait until her body gets here for a faceup in case we need to do any color matching.

Well, that is just weird...

One I get her wig finished I will look into getting her horns. I have a few dumpy looking hands around I can play around with to practice making claws. And @Pandy plotting to make her her huge sword. And scales! Plotting on how best to add those to her body and maybe in her faceup as well. And wings and tail! She is going to be amzing! A long running project, but amazing! (at least to me)

 

Yeah, I know its weird. My desktop was given to me by a friend that was downsizing...and was a IT geek who put Linux's ubuntu on it. I hate this OS, its not made for regular people like myself.

She sounds like she's going to be pretty cool-looking! She sounds like a dragon or demon or something. Do you have some kind of pic or drawing of what/who she's supposed to be?

Ugh... I lost all my herobuilder stuff! She is half black dragon. The scales are going to be the biggest pain I think. Also my go to for wings is taking a break from Etsy... so now I am kinda terrified I might have to work that out on my own too!

On the plus, I got her wig done the weekend. I may have to thin it out a bit, but I will wait until I can get or make her horns before I start on that.

 

Oh man, I can't wait to see her! Are you going to make a Project thread? I'd love to follow it if you do.

Happy that this thread has been receiving so much attention. Nanuri'08 is probably still my favorite of all the Fairyland or old school CP Delf event heads (and I have 3 of them now!)

Not the best photo, but it occurs to me that in the 12 years I've had my Nanuri'08, I never posted a photo in this thread

He's on a modded Luts SDR Type 1 girl body that was once upon a time painted (poorly, by me) to match his NS skintone. Said color both no longer matches as he has mellowed, and has been mercilessly chipped away. My goal this year is to finally find someone to help dye the body~

About dyeing his body, there are threads in the Workshop area that can help you with that. I plan on dyeing a (OFThread topic) body once I get the money to buy him, that is, and that's what I plan on doing.

I have pondered dyeing his body myself after having gone through the trouble of painting and blushing it, but honestly I'm not really the kind of collector who likes to actually work on my dolls aside from maybe faceups. Restringing terrifies me, even after having done it multiple times over the years.

Sometimes I feel like a newbie still with how little I do...Haha...

Hope you get his body soon!

 

I must be the only one that doesn't mind restringing, it seems to terrify most people. Faceups OTOH, I'm not artistic, so I eventually plan on shipping out all of mine that needs them.

Bleah, I thought I had a pic of Kio (from Loveless). I'll try to remember to take one of him once the sun comes up. He's still just a floating head, and he has the temporary faceup that he came with, but he's eventually going to have a body and proper faceup, I just don't know when. I suppose it'll get done after I get ones for Ritsuka and Soubi. That way, I'll have my three Loveless boys.

@Ryuichi Sakuma 13 I still haven't restrung him (less about being scared to do it and more that I don't have elastic and I'm avoiding all international purchases until this darned pandemic is over!) but I just discovered some old pictures that might help! First picture is a face closeup while shirtless and I think a decent picture for getting an idea of resin match (really good in my opinion. Granted this photo is actually 9 years old so resin from FDoll currently may be a different story now). Second linked picture is a naked full body shot.
