Wow!! This body is really nice! Much more improvement from the current body which being used by the company.

 

That was my favorite look too..she should be amazing when she comes! (Mine will have to be blank).

 

Jane is very tempting! I'm glad they have a choice of bust sizes, and all those nice hands.

 

Did somebody order the lucky bag? If you did have you gotten a shipping notice yet? I order mine May 25th and I still haven't get a shipping notification yet. I thought it was going to last 50 business day for Granado to ship them.

Though I'm exceedingly picky with female dolls, and she doesn't fit the idea I have for the few girls I'd like to get. Also doesn't help that my doll budget for the year has been well and truly blown for the year. But I'm super keen to see more of her!

 

I did! I'm not really in a huge hurry, but excitement and curiosity are getting the better of me and I want to see what I get! I heard nothing at all about them though. I follow Granado pretty much everywhere and I don't think I've seen anything about them.

 

I did too. I figured the first week of August would be the first possible week of being shipped with their 50 business days, which is 10 weeks. BUT if they go by the end of the event, the last week in August is the 10th week. So it looks like it will be a more of a wait.

 

So...I haven't posted in this thread before, but—I joined in the lucky bag event. I'm on pins & needles waiting for a shipping notice—and what I'll receive in it when it finally arrives. It's a bit nerve-wracking.

I've got the Nuevo girl body for one of my girls, and recently received my Gabriel head order. I got him for a tough OC of mine to shell recently, and had some reservations with his head size working after he arrived. But he's starting to grow on me every time I take him out and put him on the body. I'm hoping the lucky bag head will have one I can use as an alt head for my OC's bf. I'm planning on having two heads for some specific OCs in the story for something story related. My fingers crossed it's one I can use.

I'll be checking back on this thread to see if there's any updates on the lucky bags, and see what everyone else receives when they finally start shipping. I can't wait to see what everyone gets!

 

I emailed them for an update on shipping this morning so we will see.

When I was waiting for my Vindoll Gabriel I contact them, and I got a similar Reply. They told me he was going to ship by July and he was ship by the end of July

 

Well that's still technically July, late or not.

 

I'm just excited to see what's in it more than I'm in a hurry! Though I shouldn't be. I literally never get anything good in lucky bags. This is the first one I've bought in a really long time because I got tired of getting the stuff that no one wanted, or getting shorted items all the time.

Oh Lawdy not SF shipping. I got my shipping notice also. I hope they don't try to ransom our packages.

 

I don't have experience with SF shipping, but are they really that bad @SteamWitch ?

Also, just checked the stats of my order this morning, and it was shipped out on 9/10. It's already made it's way through NYC customs, so hopefully it'll move through quickly.

 

True lol but when I order it said it was going to take 20 business days and it took like 40 :p



Congrats to the ones who got shipping notice. I also got shipping notice today. It was send on the 10th too and it already clear customs. I'm so excited to see what I will get. For some reason my shipping order went to the junk mail

I have never had any issues with them. Four of my five Vindolls were shipped by them and they all arrived safetly and on time

 

@jade-eyed-cat I hope there isn't a problem. I've never dealt with them but heard stories about them charging more to deliver once they were in the US. Fingers crossed, mine is supposed to be delivered on Thursday. Mine went to Los Angeles and cleared customs.

 

Mine is also supposed to be here Thursday. I do wonder what "free appointment for door to door pickup" means? I've never dealt with SF either (or heard of them tbh), so it's all new to me. My other shipped doll (not Granado) is supposed to be here today, so it's all about the new resin this week!

 

@BJDivas had a problem with them (SF) wanting to tack on fees before they would deliver their goods. I'm not sure how they handled it in the end.

 

I wonder if that has to do with their "independent contractor" who takes the packages after customs? I noticed that on my tracking. Like something wasn't charged enough and someone had to get reimbursed. Either way that's crap.

 

My lucky bag was also shipped SF Express, but it looks like it has been transferred to UPS for last mile delivery? I just got a UPS notification to expect a delivery tomorrow for a one pound package (sounds like a head to me!) coming from the last location the SF tracking is showing.

Which is fine... since at least UPS is a known quantity, but I feel kind of doubtful that a UPS ground package will get to Georgia from New York that fast. We shall see!

 

Mine said it left Los Angeles at zero dark thirty this morning but not who the package was handed off to. Still has a Thursday before midnight delivery time, LOL.

 

Yeah, my SF tracking doesn't say anything about being handed off (it just says 'in transit'). I only know it had to have been because I have a myUPS account that automatically notifies me any time a new shipment is set up for my name and address, and this is the only shipment I'm expecting right now.

Hopefully, we'll have them soon!

 

I think it won't get on Thursday because on my SF said estimate delivery time 09/19/2019 and there is a small message saying the delivery date is for reference only that the time can vary. Mine left Los Angeles yesterday as well but my experience with SF, UPS, Express mail it always take other two days for the package to be deliver after it left Lon Angeles. So we might get the package around Friday or Saturday.

 

Basically we yelled at them and told them that tacking on hidden fees is illegal. The representative we spoke with never responded but the package mysteriously appeared at our location a week after without any fees, delivered by USPS.

 

Weird stuff. I had a Granado body delivered by them with no problems. Fingers crossed this goes well.

 

I am so glad you yelled at them. I feel much better knowing how it all worked out.

My last Granado delivery came by DHL so this will be my first SF shipment.

 

Im planning to buy a granado vigor body plus lucifer head from a secondhand seller. Although im quite skeptical cause she sells it for a much lower price. Although she says that it will come with a coa? Is that enough to prove that what shes selling is not a recast?

 

Well, in the fastest UPS ground transport I have ever witnessed, it looks like my lucky bag is out for delivery today!

@lizumi156 Does the seller show a picture of the CoA? That would be the easiest way to tell. To the best of my knowledge, the vigor body hasn't been recast as of yet. The price might be lower if it's one of the mini sized lucifers rather than the big one.

 

@lizumi156 Yes as @Kayka says check out the size first. Granado made a lot of small sizes of the Lucifer compared to Napoleon and if you are looking for the big 72cm guy this might not be one.
My package arrived in Houston in the wee hours so mine hopefully will arrive today. I'm off to the dentist so I hope I don't miss it and they have to redeliver.

 

Mine is still in ILL this morning so I seriously doubt I'm going to see it today. In fact, the last three tracking lines say the same thing from yesterday to today, so it looks like it's not moving at all.

 

Checking in as another recipient of lucky bag tracking! I got a UPS notification via email that expected delivery is tomorrow, and on their site it says it's a 3lb package

I honestly can't remember what the possible lucky bag items were anymore haha

I wish I would get a bust too. I have a resin floating head in need of one. My lucky bag is very close if God permits I think I might get it tomorrow. I'm so anxious to see what I get

I got a (I think WS) Remiel head, matching bust, and two pairs of extra s iris eyes. I was kind of hoping for one of the as of yet un-released heads (or tiny Napoleon), but Remiel was a nice surprise, since I wasn't expecting him based on the list they posted.

I'm not sure what size he is. I wasn't home to compare him to my other Granado guys, but I feel like he's bigger than they are. Maybe not bigger than Raguel who is massive, but big. Neck seems big too. But not like, Titan big. I wonder if he is made for the Lucifer body (is that the Vigor?)

Regardless, I love him. Like a lot. I'm really happy I have two bodies already that he can have his choice of. I just need to figure out what I'm going to do with him!

So, I received my lucky bag, and...I ended up with my worst suspicions. I was hoping for a resin head, but...got two vinyl heads instead.

Don't get me wrong. I do like Vindolls, and would love to get a full one eventually. But I was hoping to get a resin one I could use for one of my OCs. Right now...I don't know what to do with these. I'm not planning to invest in vinyls any time soon, and I don't want these boys to just sit around and collect dust. They do deserve love. I just am not the one who can do that for them.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do. It just seems like my luck has gone into the dumps as of late. Can't find a fitting head for my favorite OC, and now I have extra vinyls I don't know what to do with .

 

We are going to have a swap thread so maybe you can swap them out for a resin head. I'm still waiting on mine. Who did you get?

 

@SteamWitch looks like I got Remiel in normal skin, and Uriel in bronze/tan (?). And several pairs of their eyes, some I plan to keep, and others I wouldn't mind swapping. Hopefully there's someone who'd be up for swapping for a resin, as otherwise I'm lost.

I didn't mention it in the first email, but I also got one of those busts. Which is nice, and I wouldn't mind keeping it. But if it adds some interest for a swap, I'd be willing to do so for a resin head

 

I got my granado 8th anniversary lucky back today. I got two beautiful resin heads Jane and Galileo. Both heads are gorgeous I'm so happy. I'm not sure what resin color they are or if I will keep them.

Edit: I signed up for UPS and it is on it's way to me 9/23.

 

With mine, it just showed being in my city without any delivery date listed. And...it ended up delivered once it showed up in my city. Not sure if that helps at all?

It continued to update as if they were delivering the package.

Try going to UPS's site, click tracking, and once you're on the main tracking page, there should be an option to "Track by Reference Number" on the right. Click that and put in your SF Tracking. If it was handed off to UPS, and they filled out the reference number as they should have, it will pull up the UPS tracking info for the shipment.

I've used this trick a lot. I'm a Buyer for a company, and I spend way more time than I would like trying to figure out where stuff is.

 

I actually bought him. He'll be shipped next weekend, and the picture attached is a pict from his previous owner. As I've posted before, he's a 2nd Hand Lucifer on a Vigor body, which im so reluctant from buying bec he was sold a bit cheaper. $538 . I almost have a plan for him, and im super excited to receive him.

Sometimes sellers decide to sell things cheaper because they need the money. I talk for personal experience because I do it all the time. One time I sold a limited doll that cost me about $700 for $340 because that was all the money I need it to buy another doll. Also because I wanted to make a quick sale :p
