If no body minds my asking, I've been spending a lot of time going through this thread and everyone's dolls are so beautiful but I'm finding myself more in love with the body sculpt than the heads. Has anyone tried hybriding these lovelies?

 

I think it would be really cute! The biggest issue is her teeny tiny neck but I am sure it could be done!

 

Thanks so much! Like I said I love these beauties but especially their body sculpts and I'd love to someday have at least the body one a doll.

 

Aaahhh I love everyone's little buns!! I finally had some time to do a faceup for Choux, and I just ordered a dress for her earlier this week~

I still have to go back to intensify some of the colors and clean up that left eye, but I'm happy with her! I think I'll make her eyebrows a little more concerned looking.

 

She's really cute. May I ask you where you order the dress for her?

 

@Lady Midori Every once in a while I just search "Zouh" on etsy and sometimes people have clothes listed, lol. There's still lots of leggings, a few dresses, and I think a few tops.

 

I know choupi couture is working on making some spun dresses!!

With the new preorder I'm trying to decide if I should just go for it or hold out some distant hope that someday I will be able to get a Miki Noxe somewhere.

 

I asked about the new Appi and they even seemed unsure on those two. I suspect that there isn't a lot of demand for Miki Noxe unfortunately since I really liked that body style too. If it were me, I'd go for the preorder - you can always sell your larger girl later if you find Miki Noxe!

Dust of Dolls mentioned in a reply to a comment on their blog, and clarified to me when I asked, Miki Noxe is never getting a wider release because she was intended to be very limited, not because of lack of demand. I think a lot of people have asked. It would be cool if they ended up changing their minds, but the artists may have personal reasons to want to keep a sculpt ultra-limited.

I recently started to like DoD's dolls and was wondering if anyone knew how often they do pre-orders for their dolls? Ty!

 

So, is somebody going to order a Zouh Spun in mint skin ? They are SO beautiful I already have two of these beauties but I want more XD

Here are mine, Finelle in grey skin and Dardhee in fauve skin

 

I am thinking of ordering her, but I wonder where I could get a wig for her... or is my only option to make one myself?
I am really tempted to get her though.
Where do you Zouh Spün owners got your wigs?

 

Mine have handmade (not by me) alpaga wigs. There is a notice on Dust of Dolls website that gives tips to adjust a wig for Spun's head, it's really useful !

 

If you feel comfortable with it, some people accept custom orders that you can send your head over so they can make it on your doll's head.

Yes she can hold poses well, and even better with a hotglue on the legs. She can stand well, even on one leg, she sits. But of course the arms can't go to low because of her huge belly and booty ♥

Did anyone already receive their mint Spün with face-up? It takes such a long time and there don’t seem to be any news from Dust of Dolls... I hope it won’t take long anymore, I really want my bunny girl to come home! I got eyes and a wig made for her already! ❤️

Does someone know a shop that sells clothes made for Spün? The only piece of clothing I‘ve got until now is a romper made by Cachoou on Etsy.

 

I ordered mine with the faceup as well and so far no news. With the extra 60 days they should ship around mid June !

I am a bit worried about Dust of Dolls. There don’t seem to be any news on their Social Media channels and I wrote them an email regarding the shipping of the mint Spün with face-up via their contact form on the website on June 9th and a Facebook message last Thursday with no reply.

Does any of you know what they are up to? Or is this quite normal for DoD? It’s my first time ordering from them.

 

I wish I had some news about my Spun as well. But I know from experience that it arrives sometimes that their orders are delayed and we only know afterwards.
I hope we'll get some news soon !

Lyly prefers to have them all finished to send them in one batch. There's more that are finished than not, so it should be quick!

I use a piece of eye putty on her backplate. The wig sticks on it pretty nicely.

I only have one romper made by Cachoou that fits her... but I really like her cute chubby body so she stays naked for now haha!

As for eyes I really love Mako eyes. My Lilou wears them too. I have several pairs in 12 mm and 14 mm and all of them are gorgeous in both quality and looks!

 

In the end I sold another doll and I'm keeping her

@Limabeanbro I was just oogling this thread for pictures to enjoy during the wait. Yes! I did. Actually had the money when it was announced, and I wasn't about to miss out on her last preorder. Especially in such a stunning colour.

I'm now aware that she's supposed to be a rabbit. But to me she has always looked bat-like. So my lady will be a classic vampire- silly black and red tux-style outfit, sassy dark makeup, and hopefully, some bangin' shoes. We'll see how hard she is to dress.

It's nice to see someone else who was able to get in! Do you have plans for your lady? I haven't seen anyone else posting about her. Spun's 24hr / L-Doll Exclusiveness was always a shame to me. She's such an interesting sculpt in every facet.
