Reason for choice:

I have always liked Dia as a boy and I finally caved and replaced my Mecha Angel Deneb with a smaller head that is better proportioned for the Super Gem body, and then I figured I might as well replace the entire doll.

Best Points:

Gorgeous sculpting on both head and body. Much less clunky than the earlier SG body types.

Worst Points:

Wasn't offered in white resin for this release. The magnetic hands are a loose fit and often fall off. The body is very floppy and cannot stand reliably.

The Dia "Into the Blue" re-release was a short order period (Aug12-25, 2021) with a surfer theme in the promotional images and normal or tawny resin options.

Martine is the elder half-sister of Aeschylus and Tyrian. She has an innate attraction to the supernatural and was thus a weak link when a demonic agent came sniffing around the family looking for a way in. While she survived unscathed for decades, other family members and friends died or were badly damaged as a result of her actions. When Aeschylus offered her a new lease on life in a cannibalized body, she decided to try living as a man for amusement and continued to wreak havoc, not realizing that her brother's offer was part of a more serious game that would allow him to punish her for destroying his childhood. Patriarch Magnus has turned this messy plot on its head and kept the peace so far by sending Martine halfway around the world to work under the watchful eye of Blackpool as a scout for other talented individuals.
