Zoukei-mura GK Cristal Clear?

Dec 11, 2005

    1. This is available for purchase on the Volks Int. site, along with a number of other zoukeimura authorized materials. Is this gloss? Like Mr.Super Clear? It's cheaper and I am making a list of all the faceup supplies I'll need (getting prices w/ shipping) and although I will be using normal US products at first, I'd love to own some Zoukeimura stuff in the future.

So, anyone use/own this? Or, can you read japanese?

Thats the page I am on. They have two cans that appear to be gloss, and also a tube of something which I am assuming is eyelash glue.

Do you guys agree with me in my assumptions, or should I not take the risk?

    2. The tube right at the bottom is glue for Volks garage kits, probably for glueing parts together. Normal white tacky glue works fine for eyelashes.

As for the GK Crystal Clear, it's a spray-on gloss which is also stated as being for garage kits. It wouldn't be suitable for face-ups, since a spray is better for covering large areas, and you don't generally want your entire doll's face to be shiny (the Mr. Super Clear used to cover doll's face-ups and to prep the head for a face-up is the matte sort, which is not shiny). For glossing small areas, a pot of acrylic gloss would be more appropriate.

      Hope that helps!

    3. Oh. What about the other can that has pictures of super dollfies on it? The other one with the clear cap?

    4. The can right at the bottom? Those are not SDs, they are probably 1/6th dollfies on it. ^^ The words are a little too small to read, but it seems to be a prep/surface spray for that type of doll.

    5. Hm. I was hoping to get some msc... But I guess it is more expensive at Volks anyways (outrageous shipping) I will just grab a few cans at Dollmore.. they're pretty reasonable, even though EMS is a major pain.
