so i started working on a new bjd and i scrapped the old bjd project, this has taken me a few trys and now im determined to finish this one >_< hopefully, he is a zombie bjd, i was watching the movie corpse bride and i thought why not make a zombie bjd, but from what i see most bjds have nice neat sculpted bodys and are nice and smooth so idk how people will take this bjds aesthetics? XD
This is a really interesting concept, and from what I see beautifully executed! It really looks organic and alive (well, as alive as an undead creature can be.)
The wrinkling, puckering and scarring of the skin is so cool. Really well done. I can't imagine the technique you must be using to achieve that. The glimpse we can see of his knee and calf is promising as well!
update: working on the leg joint, the legs were made by rolling it like a taco and then shoving some foam inside soit retains its roundness, then it was boiled and now i am adding the ball joint
i havent touched this thread in a good while, this zombie bjd project has been scrapped, im looking into sculpting something smaller and natural looking
