In late September I went on holiday to Japan. I brought Zhara along, to her land of origin. Amongst other things, we visited Volks' headquarters, Tenshi-no-Sato in Kyoto. Please enjoy this 'Best Of' selection from our Japan holiday! A mix of photos using my smartphone and DSLR camera. Omukae (welcoming) ceremony at Tenshi-no-Sato There are many more photos of Zhara on my BJD blog - I took so many that I had to split them into two posts - Vol. 1, Vol. 2. I also wrote a travelog about the BJD activities I did in Japan: attend I-Doll West (a doll convention), and visit Tenshi-no-Sato. Thank you for viewing~
I've been peeking into your blog every now and then for the Japan pics, glad you two got to see so much! Happy belated omukae to Zhara as well
Zhara is so beautiful. I loved reading your blog post about visiting Tenshi-no-Sato. Must have been amazing to see all the dolls in the museum.
What a cool collection of photos! Absolutely love them. How nice that you got to visit Japan together!
Thanks so much, everyone, for the lovely comments! This was my first time travelling to Japan and I had a blast. I didn't manage to take doll photos in every destination or as many as I wanted -- missed out on Osaka big-time because that was the last leg of the trip and I was wiped out by then -- but I'm still happy with this outcome and Zhara got to see most places. Tenshi-no-Sato was particularly special. I'm glad you're enjoying the photos, thanks all
