I'd get a brand new renewal body for my Lati Yellow and a bunch of stuff for a dollhouse/diorama.

Either a whole Soom Id75 doll or spread it out over outfits and accessories. I think I'll go crazy with the outfits

 

I'd get Myou Gina & Vieruodis, a body for my MNF Nanuri '18, and Dollzone Miyou- basically all of my current wishlist. OR I'd use it to hunt for discontinued dolls I love, like MNF Miyu or some of the old Delfs.

 

I would either use it to fully customize and finish my grail doll (custom outfit, body blush, and tattoos), and any extra would be put towards a Doll Zone Miyou, or I would use it to buy one of two dolls I have my eyes on: Soul Doll Seo Jeong-U (plus a full outfit and custom face-up) or Ringdoll J-N (full set Feiyufu version)!

 

I would make a nice big display area! All my dolls are forest/adventure themed, so lots of fake moss and plants, maybe a little cabin room? That would be so nice. TwT I never think about how my dolls on display look, so this would help me make them look good!

Volks Charlotte or go on a clothing/wig/eye shopping spree.

 

I would buy this handsome lion boy from Miracle Doll. He is gorgeous and super unique. But in reality, I will have to wait to have more space for him

Such a hard decision! I'd probably buy Miracle Doll's Melanie with her full set. I wouldn't have much money left over, but she's not even on my wish list because I'm sure I'll never have her.

 

Bodies! I have a lot of heads that have been waiting for a body. Some for many, many years. Would $1000 be enough for all of them? No. But it'd definitely help XD;

 

Clothes. Oh god, clothes. And one body for my floating heads because pretty much everyone is naked still lol

Uh, with my tax refund this year that kinda happened. I'm going to spend it on stuff other than dolls hopefully.

 

I would get the Volks x BTSSB DearSD collab! I may have to pay the difference, but it would be so worth

 

I'd rather put them into my life-savings and save up for my dolls the usual way even if it can take long!

 

Probably a Zaoll Dreaming Muse and clothes, wig, etc for her, then whatever’s left for things for Manon, my Iplehouse Peekaboo.

 

I would get a fullset doll to donate to the local con I've been going to for years, since they're just starting back up after getting left in shambles by the old owners.

For myself personally I'd probably splurge on some clothing for my giant crew and sneak in a petit gem or two in there. I'd love to get my hands on a Leepy, Pa-an, or Rudy.

 

Not enough to buy my dream doll, but enough to go to a doll con!

I would get too excited to know what to do with myself… x] ! because of the extra money, I’d probably buy a doll that’s more out of my “style comfort zone.” I’ve been looking at volks’s super dollfie girls, and they’re so cute! I really like their ”standard” pretty doll feel (for lack of a better description). It would be nice to have a sweet-looking doll that I don’t have to work on.. She can cheer me on while my other dolls are enduring customization. ^__^

 

$1000 simply to spend on a doll? For me I would repurchase my grail doll a Volks SWD Nana. Before I got out of the hobby I had one and then sold her. I regret that choice younger me made. I would repurchase her in a heartbeat. She was my absolute favorite and I miss that sculpt terribly.

 

I would buy my current obsession: RingDoll's Decree Dog. I'm currently saving up for him, but it'd be nice to buy him sooner! And it would also cover getting him a custom face-up!

 

Realistically I'd put it in my savings, but if I couldn't do that I'd put it towards commissioning clothes for the doll I just ordered, my very first BJD. I really like Rozen Maiden and Innocent World's reimagining of the Rozen Maiden outfits to make them less costumey, but I don't have space to buy a doll to represent each of the 7 sisters. Oh, or I'd buy the Dolk Rozen Maiden case. I'm waiting patiently for Dolk to release their Suigintou (it's scheduled for this year!) so I plan to buy the case then, but if I get 1k for free I may as well pay a little extra and get it now.

I would definitely put some away to save it until I can find my RingDoll grails (Eren Jaeger and Ciel Phantomhive) but in the meantime would love some funds to just go on a clothes shopping spree

 

Probably buy a couple of the SD/SDM standard models or older secondhand ones. I've been eyeing a couple of Saki's and Chiyo's on various secondhand sites

 

At this point; a lot of clothes, a few wigs, and a 1/3rd scale motorcycle for one of my SDs that she's been wanting for a looong time.

 

I'd have to set it aside since I couldn't spend it right away, but I would get an iMda Elodie in choco skin (with sleeping head and all the extra hands), a custom wig and the most froofy dress I could find for her.

With the leftover money I'd put a down-payment on an Iple FID Ron... Maybe?

 

Bodies I would buy 2-3 bodies for my headless hoard.

Huajing Tian Ni with faceup, Resinsoul Xi elf in dark tan, so many clothes and wigs, Maybe a SoulDoll girl, or Little Monica. Maybe I'd even get my first SD!

 

I would buy lots of eyes, some shoes, and then probably look to adopt a few project dolls

Probably some combination of Dream Valley Bethel, Doll Chateau Xavirea, and Asleep Eidolon Aglaia! They're the three models I keep going back to the most lately.

Firstly... I hope this is USD $1000! If it was in AUD/Australian dollar it will still be good money but not nearly as amazing, ehehehh. *shakes fist at abysmal currency exchange rate*

I'll probably spend the whole $1000 to commission either a pair of posable, 1/3-scale feathered wings, or a set of 1/3-scale armour and weapons (Japanese samurai or historical Chinese). Not sure from who. There used to be a few DoA members who made bespoke wings and armour, but none of them seem to be operating now.

If not wings or armour... then $1000 on quality clothes. Especially kimono from Volks (I love the sets from their limited edition dolls), but quality kimono from any maker. A kimono for each of my crew, any remainder money will go to custom wigs and resin eyes.

I'm pretty happy with my doll crew, but I want them to be decked out in awesome.

I would commission a custom head or nice bodies for each of my dolls so they don’t have to share a body

 

Uff, I think that I’ll get a Ringdoll full set but I think that I have to add more cash to the 1000$.

I would build a doll house. Maybe some 1/3 rooms so I can take better photos.

 

i'd pay off my layaways and get my floating heads bodies lol and maybe get some of my crew faceups if i have enough left over

 

I still stand by saving it and putting it towards bills but if it had to be used for doll money, I'd comission outfits for some of my dolls. I'd love to have some Yosd victorian dresses.

 

We have some renovations to pay for our rooftop, so doll hobby is second priority. But besides rooftop I would love to get a DoDolls Teacup Owlie

If I were gifted $1000 to buy a doll (or dolls related items), I would definitly buy my grail doll that costs $680 full set (and would also have enough left to pay for the shipping and taxes) !

 

I have friends who want dolls but can't afford it so I'd probably give the money to them so we can enjoy the hobby together!

 

Real world aside, in this fantasy scenario I would go in on a Dust of Dolls preorder. I've wanted one for years and now that the Roze line exists, it'd be great to get a Chae.

 

With free money like that I'll get my own doll sculpt printed and cast in resin so she's not trapped in my computer forever

Something with multiple arms, they seem harder to find while being affordable. So cool though!

 

If I was gifted $1000, I'd like to buy just the doll parts I want to shell my character! I'd be happy with finally having my character made.

 

Ignoring the tree in my yard I have to get cut down I would probably just go ham on buying clothes and wigs

 

I'd be buying the Volks doll I need to get started on my Chii from Chobits custom.
So, older doll using a DDH-01 head, finding a face-up artist, then commissioning someone to make her a couple of custom outfits, and most likely getting her 3D printed ears.
