I realized I hadn't posted much in the way of non-naked Skelfthyrnir, so time to correct that. The cloth for the cloak below, and the absolutely beautiful handmade shirt were sent by a friend of mine. He wears cloaks and shirts well; I'm still working on a loincloth I'm really happy with. headtilt by Cryptic Cryptid, on Flickr conversational by Cryptic Cryptid, on Flickr shirt by Cryptic Cryptid, on Flickr Not everything in his wardrobe is serious medieval/fantasy wear, though. This sweater is a wine bottle sweater I got off of Amazon, and I made the pajama pants. I think I may need to redo them or at least adjust the hems; he's got long legs. sweater by Cryptic Cryptid, on Flickr mug by Cryptic Cryptid, on Flickr Sadly, this ornament mug isn't quite in scale...but it still amused me.
Omg, what an awesome head!!! The weathering on it is so realistic! And the reindeer sweater is too funny on him LMAO
I got lucky on Etsy and found one that was small enough. Probably still a little too big, but. (My friend is huge into medieval clothing and has been a wonderful resource on what things are called and how they were worn.) As for the sweater...yep. Soon as I saw other people posting their BJDs in wine bottle sweaters, I knew I HAD to find one with a reindeer on it.
