I had an idea for another bjd game! Post the oldest doll in your collection with your newest arrival Doesn’t have to be your first doll if you no longer have it, just the one who has stuck around the longest. The newest doll can be with or without faceup, wig, and clothes. However you’d like to share! Posed together or collage style is up to you, as long as oldest is on the left, and newest on the right. And feel free to come back when your doll collection changes I’ll go first: Oldest: Morhirwen, a Doll Chateau Lydia from May 2019. Latest: Lina, an Impldoll Susu from May 2024.
I think this is the only pic I have of just these two dolls together, but here are my oldest and newest dolls together. Dollmore Model Doll Leah Cox and Iplehouse JID Tania Noctarcana Circus version who I named Stephanie.
Rei is my oldest and Claudia-Colette the newest doll. The yellowing is a pain... Snow - angels by Arengil Tajedinápravá, on Flickr
First was Resinsoul Sprite {Bobobie back then and I still love her} I always wanted a Valerie Zeitler doll and finally bought one directly from her at my first convention this past summer in New Orleans
Oldest and latest BJD by spih_2, on Flickr My oldest BJD is Haitula who is Serendipity Aga Fairy Cookie from 2006. The latest is Withdoll Macaron Fairy Pistachio from 2025.
Nuoyi (Doll legend head on Souldoll body) has been with me the longest and Midoriko (SDC Kaede) is the doll that came to me last - then again, Midoriko is made the earliest of my gang so she's also the oldest...?
This sounds like fun! My first "BJD" is/was a Volks Dollfie Dream I, and a hybrid CP VDES head sculpt at the same time. I still own her; I purchased her around winter of 2003-ish (the CP VDES head sculpt I got a little under a year later, I believe). She's 57-58cm tall. This is my latest, my smallest humanoid-BJD as well, he's only 28cm tall. He's my fanart version of Ken Kaneki (from Tokyo Ghoul). He's a MYou Bettina Male. I got him in winter 2021 but received him in March of 2022. He's wearing his longer wig on these, because I fail at tiny (short boyish) wigs, and life! DX
The Kurenai on the left I got in 2006. The Kurenai on the right was gifted to me this year Untitled by Jessicat P, on Flickr
