Your Most Used Pose (Overused?)

Oh, man. Sitting down, body facing (the doll's) right, head turned toward the camera, hands on lap . . . yup, sooner or later everybody gets a portrait taken in that pose.

 

Possibly the most-used pose I see with Dollshe boys, is the hand against the neck pose. XD They just do it so well! This is a pic I took of my friend's SA Saint.



I also use the fingers in belt loops/pocket pose all the time. XD

 

Oh yes, I pull the hand-in-a-pocket pose a lot. Here's a recent one with hand-in-a-pocket x2!!



I also seem to default to having my girl "fidget" with her hands when she's sitting or standing. It looks like she doesn't know what to do with them, maybe because I'm having that problem posing her.

 

My DoT girl is always on her cell phone, so I seem to default to that pose in photos:

 

With Jack, my Seorin girl.. This.

I like to do the hand on the hips xD.

 

My girl's usual pose is the arm-across-chest pose:

Her arm just naturally falls like that.... all. the. time.

 

Sooner or later all dolls are tested for their ability to maintain this pose:



...with varying degrees of success. I think my Dollshe boys probably do it best.



And yeah, I can admit to the thumbs-in-pockets/beltloops being way over-used as well, on all the boys at least.





One hand in a beltloop is more likely than two, and it's most often the left hand.... never noticed that before!

 

The Myspace angle! Gotta love the Myspace angle, including the arm!

Body forward, head to the right. Always the riiiiight!!!

 

Hand on hip/in pocket. The thing is about pocket, is it looks so natural, thus is a good pose... just overused.

 

O hai yes, thumb(s) in pockets! Most doll-hands are just sculpted to naturally do that.... It's the "I don't know what to do with my hands in a photograph" pose.







And the other subconsciously-nervous-boy pose is the hand up behind the neck / fixing the hair. It's cute on everyone.












... way overused!

Yeah. That's almost ALL my dolls doing the same pose. And they all do it often. I just...love that angle apparently. xD

 

hand around/on chest area. maybe its because his arms naturally like to sit in this position idk.

 

Full face front portrait is my most common shot, I can't seem to help myself

 

Walking. I swear I must have the busiest dolls on the planet because they are always going somewhere.
