Gah. Looking at my earliest pictures is quite embarassing. They were the first pictures I ever took with a digital camera, and it was borrowed from a friend of mine. ^^;

Probably the first picture I took of Kin after I took the normal El head off and replaced it with his dreaming head, and it's crappy and blurry.


This is probably the first picture I took of Xiyang Jin after I changed his eyes and put him in some clothes. Again, horribly blurry. ^^;


Fei, before I got his eyes or wig, but several months after the other boys, so thankfully, I had learned how to use a camera a little better.


Rylen's first pictures were faceup-less, since he was an unfinished kit.


And I actually set up a nice photoshoot for Jian Mei's first pictures. ^^;


I'm soooooooooooooo glad I've improved my photography since I started back in August. ^_^

 

I had a really bad disposible camera with a really high flash. Then I tried to darken it in photoshop. This is the result.

 

I totally forgot which one was the first picture, because instead of taking "box-opening" pictures, I wanted Nemian dressed and looking snazzy first. XD But this is definitely one of the first. I this one being the first few taken after dressing him.

Jeremiah Blue... my first... and her first photo. I didn't take "box opening" photos of her. She looks so different to me now! These eyes were too small and she didn't have eyelashes yet.

Very first doll, very first day. Didn't do the box opening photo routine with her ... I just couldn't wait to get in and hold her. After I finished smothering her with awe, I covered her with a dressing gown, gave her a cup of tea (it's own food group and profoundly restorative), then started snapping. I think this is the first.

This is technically NOT the first pic of my girl, just the first after I got all the bubble wrap off (I still get a shiver remembering the moment)

She's all attitude with her 'can I have some hair? NOW?' look. Little does she know in this pic what's next. Since I got her second-hand she came clothed and, well, I had to check out the body blushing, right??

 

I can totally relate to the bubblewrap removal/shiver!
Here's my Rei in box as he arrived from an ebay seller. Even though I don't think his top and wig suit him (they were off seconds later!) I love that he just looks so cute and bewildered...like 'uhhh, where am I?'

I can't believe this is actually just over a month ago... I've taken sooo many photos of him to spam DoA with since then!

First pictures by me were for a photoshoot here on DoA called 'Irresistible Offers'. Since I had no camera at that time I had to borrow Raouken's. Raouken was also the one that photoshopped the pictures:








And another one; I liked the colouring at that time, especially as I didn't use any photoshop in this picture. But... the wig... the WIG.... what was I thinking...

It's not the first, but my camera deleted almost all of my box opening pictures.
In two months and three different cameras, I've learned a LOT of things. xD

That is when I learned never to use flash, and to actually brush wigs... and uh... reposition eyes... but hey- I got him to stand on carpet. xD

This is my Mathonwy. He's a DIM Torudoll Karon, and this is his first picture wearing both a wig and eyes. The eyes are "sunflower" color, and the wig is the random freebie he came with. I just put it on him to get him to make that "I will Kill you in your sleep" face he's giving me right there.

 

Hmmm, they're not going to like this D:
